• Web GUI frameworks for Phone development

  I looked already and could't find anyting good. So a question is, are there any good web frameworks that would allow to easily develop GUI for the majority of high end phones? By this I mean It would have to work the same on majority of high end phones (forget the low cost ones) It would have to simplify the development and hide the ugly details from developer Clear design and good documentation. Also some stability on the market. The focus in on good looking and easy to make GUI. Javascript is only a plus. So basically I am looking for something like jQuery or maybe ExtJS for phone development. EDIT: It would be a big plus if it could be consumed in Delphi EDIT 2: If it was not clear, I am looking for a web base solution. So the target is HTML output and not native code.

  Hi, I am using facebook's sharer.php to post to facebook from my application. My application is hosted at //[my_domain]/[some_param]/index I am setting the title, description and the image url to be displayed on facebook in the meta tags of the page found at the above mentioned url. when i share the link facebook generates the following message to share: [some_img] [some_title] http://[my_domain]/[some_param]/index [some_message] What i need to do is either hide or change this url "http://[my_domain]/[some_param]/index" that is shown by default, since i do not want the users to see this. Instead i am passing the desired url that i want the users to see in So is there some way of doing this?

• Not getting image in h:graphicImage in JSF

  Hello, I have this very strange error with h:graphicImage This code works fine :- <h:graphicImage value="/Common/Images/#{item.templatePicName}"/> And this one doesn't :- <h:graphicImage alt="${app:getCommonImagePath(item.templatePicName)}" value="${app:getCommonImagePath(item.templatePicName)}" /> It only shows alt value /Common/Images/Sunset.jpg which is perfectly fine and works in 1st case. Then why doesn't it work in 2nd case? There are no problems with my images. • How do I stop a jquery animation based on CSS values?

  So, I have two divs: #div1 and #div2. I want '#div2' to disappear when '#div1' has the CSS value: top = 0px. Here is the CSS: #div1 { top: 0px; } #div2 { display: block; } if ( $('#div1').css('top') == '0px' ) { $("#div2").hide(); } else { $("div2").fadeIn(); } $("div2").click(function(){ $("#div1").animate({top:"+=315px"}, "slow"); }); The problem I am running into is that I'm changing that CSS value (for #div1) via Javascript and for this reason, my js doesn't acknowledge the change and doesn't make the div disappear (I think). Is there any way to make #div2 disappear when #div1's CSS property top = 0 and reappear whenever it is changed? Or is there a better way to implement this?

• Flex 1009 error Chart datatip

  I am simply trying to hide a datatip on a chart if the hit data item (yfield item) is == 101 for two differnt series an areaseries and a line series. The following funciton works in IE but throws an error in firefox.   When Fiddler is not on Mac OS X or Ubuntu, and if we don't install/use Wireshark or any other more heavy duty tools, what is a way to use tcpdump so that 1) It can print out GET /foo/bar HTTP/1.1 [request content in RAW text] [response content in RAW text] POST /foo/... HTTP/1.1 this should be able to be done by tcpdump or by using tcpdump in a short shell script or Ruby / Python / Perl script. 2) Actually, it can be neat if a script can output HTML, with GET /foo/bar HTTP/1.1 POST /foo/... HTTP/1.1 on the page, for any browser to display, and then when clicked on any of those lines, it will expand to show the RAW content like (1) above does. Click again and it will hide the details. The expansion UI can be done using jQuery or any JS library. The script may be short... possibly less than 20 lines? Does anybody know how to do it either for (1) or (2)?

• Magento: Add (and retrieve) custom database field for CMS pages

  I want to assign custom parameters to CMS pages in Magento (i.e. 'about', 'customer service', etc), so they can be grouped. The end goal is to use the parameters for each page to show (or hide) them in a nav menu. Writing a quick method in the page/html block to retrieve the pages (active only) for the menu was easy, but I can't figure out how to group them so that 'testimonials', 'history', and 'contact' are associated with 'about', and 'return policy', 'shipping', and 'contact' are associated with 'customer service'. Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  Using struts2 with jsp with standard struts tag libraries. I'm trying to dynamically hide a DIV on page load, but still send it to the browser. This is so I can show it later via javascript. The request objects one and two are not easily referenced via a jsp:usebean tag.   Hi Guys I am finding the solution for my application. I create an iphone application have 3 screen: First screen not contain any tab bar. Second screen have 2 tab bar item. • Problem when exiting search in iPhone

  Hi. I have a search display controller, and it is searching well. I'm searching in a table with several sections and I have a viewForHeaderInSection function working as it's supposed to. When I start searching, my numberOfSectionsForTableView returns 1, and I have a special view saying "Search Results" wich I use in self.searchDisplayController.searchResultsTableView. The problem happens when I select a row in my searchResultsTableView: I change the view, and when I return and try to exit the searchDisplayController (by pressing the CancelButton), the tables change nice, but changing the viewforHeader for my first section is not "pretty". I have a "kind-of-click" anymation. I would like it to not be so noticeable for the user, having a more "fluid" change. Anybody had the same problem and knows how to solve it? In a different question (which would work as a workaround): how can I hide the keyboard while searching without pressing the Cancel or Search buttons? Thanks a lot!

  Good day (and happy New Year), I'm a beginner VB.Net programmer using VS 2008. I'm planning a new winform project whose main form should look more or less like this: MAIN MENU 1. DoSomething1 2. DoSomething2 3. DoSomething3 ... Please choose: [TextBox] The user can either choose from the Main Menu (by clicking an item) or enter the item number in the textbox. For example, if the user clicks DoSomething3 in the Main Menu (or alternatively enters 3 in the textbox), another form will be opened and hide the main form. What would be the best way to implement it? Specifically, I would like to know how I make so that choosing from the menu and entering a number in the textbox fire the same event. Any help or hints will be appreciated.

  Newb question: how do i show a from that have been hidden using this.Hide(); I have tried MainMenuForm.Show(); and this just says i need an object ref have tried: MainMenuForm frmMainMenu = new MainMenuForm(); frmMainMenu.Show(); which seems to show the appropriate form. but when you exit the app, it is still held in memory because it hasn't shown the form that was hidden, instead it has shown a new version of the form. in effect having 2 instances of the form (one hidden, one visible). whats the correct procedure here Thanks in advance
