• no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path

  Hey all, So I've been plagued by this issue, whenever I try to run my app in eclipse, I get this error. 2011-02-23 09:55:08,388 ERROR (com.xxxxx.services.factory.ServiceInvokerLocal:21) - java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path I've tried following the steps I found here with no luck. I've tried this on a XP VM as well as windows 7 (although in win 7 I get a different error, below) java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no ocijdbc9 in java.library.path I've made sure my oracle client was ok (by running TOAD) and I also re-added the classes12.jar / ojdbc14.jars to my WEB-INF/lib folder taken directly from my %ORACLE_HOME% folder (also re-added them to the lib path). I've also tried just adding the ojdbc14.jar without the classes12.jar. Any suggestions appreciated. In the XP VM I have my PATH variable set to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24\bin;C:\ORACLE\product\10.2.0.1\BIN. I'm using Tomcat server 5.0

So does test.MainWindow indicate the class name for this window. I am trying to invoke this window from other application which is developed in win 32. • Higher speed options for executing very large (20 GB) .sql file in MySQL

  My firm was delivered a 20+ GB .sql file in reponse to a request for data from the gov't. I don't have many options for getting the data in a different format, so I need options for how to import it in a reasonable amount of time. I'm running it on a high end server (Win 2008 64bit, MySQL 5.1) using Navicat's batch execution tool. It's been running for 14 hours and shows no signs of being near completion. Does anyone know of any higher speed options for such a transaction? Or is this what I should expect given the large file size? Thanks

  Given N binary sequence Example : given one sequence 101001 means player 0 can only choose a position with 0 element and cut the sequence from that position {1,101,1010} player 1 can only choose a position with 1 element ans cut the sequence from that position {null,10,101000} now player 0 and player 1 take turn cutting the sequence, on each turn they can cut any one non-null sequence, if a player k can't make a move because there's no more k element on any sequence, he lose. Assume both player play optimally, who will win ? I tried to solve this problem with grundy but i'm unable to reduce the sequence to a grundy number because it both player don't have the same option to move. Can anyone give me a hint to solve this problem ?

• Using ASP.Net 4.0 for new Dev projects

  I am currently in the early stages of developing a couple web applications, I have not written any code yet as I am still just gathering requirements and scoping things out. I want to target ASP.Net 4.0 winforms as the platform for these apps but I want to make sure there are no glaring issues with this new version before I commit. I understand that if I was porting an existing app from 2.0, 3.5 to 4.0 there may be issues but I am starting from scratch on these projects and plan to write these apps to support the new features of 4.0. Should I wait for the first service pack to come out? Just seems like more work to start with 3.5 now only to go back through and tweak things for 4.0 in just a few months or even before I finish the app. Our servers are Win 2K3 with IIS6 and MS SQL 2000, Should I expect any problems with VS 2010 and MS SQL 2000 in regards to Linq to SQL and EF?

  hello! what i'm trying to do is get the free amount of physical memory allocate it and than manage it ( resizing it or delete it ) depending on what further calls to GlobalMemoryStatusEx return. and the problem : it works on 2 PCs with win 7 x64 one with 2G Ram ( on witch i was able to allocate like 1.3 GB) , the other has one 1GB RAM (max alloc was 630 MB). it fails on the third one with 3GB of ramm. I can't find the problem. !! i tried google!! any solution?

Additionally - if somehow, the answer was yes, is it possible to react for change of active window / application react just as if it was Event, or bind to it custom event (e.g. Event.SystemActiveAppChange)? Thank you for answers as well as pointers. EDIT: Due to probable missunderstanding, I mean local applications - on your win/mac/linux machine - I would like to (in process of learning of language) track what apps I use the most, make a little graph maybe? • Write-access for c# app in it's own exe dir in Windows 7

  I know that user accounts in Windows 7 are limited by default, so a program cannot just write anywhere on the system (as it was possible in Win XP). But I thought that it would be possible that e.g. a c# app is allowed to write inside it's own exe-directory or it's subfolders at least (not everything is 'user settings' or should be written to "MyDocuments"...). So currently my c# app throws an UnauthorizedAccessException when trying to write inside the exe dir. Is there anything you can do in c# code to allow writing inside the exe dir?

  I have a web site that built on Visual studio 2008 and i need to run it from my computer (Win 7 Ultimate) as a server I tried to publish it to IIS and this is simply not working and i have the flowing error : Error Summary HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid. Config Error This configuration section cannot be used at this path. This happens when the section is locked at a parent level. Locking is either by default (overrideModeDefault="Deny"), or set explicitly by a location tag with overrideMode="Deny" or the legacy allowOverride="false". any one can help?

  Problem: I have a QT based multiplatform (win,mac,*nix) application that parses ascii files containing decimal numbers. parsing is done using a variety of different code pieces that use anything from qt string stuff, c++ stdin, oldstyle scanf, etc. ascii files have always the '.' (dot) as separated decimal (e.g. in the file to be parsed 1/10 is written 0.1 as standard in many countries). people using the application within a OS localized for using comma separated decimal encounter a lot of problems (e.g. for french users scanf expect to find 0,1 as a valid textual representation of 1/10 and if they find 0.1 scanf will parse it as 0) How can I be sure that the OS Locale indication of how decimal point has to be written is always ignored? Is it safe assuming that adding QLocale::setDefault(QLocale(QLocale::English,QLocale::UnitedStates)); is enough to get rid of all these problems? Any suggestion for portable ways of setting the locale globally?

For example, if a deals status changes from pending to win, I want to show it, and if the value goes up or down, I want to show it, that kind of thing. Also, if you open the overview page, I want it to show the history of changes. So I need some kind of change logging, to be able to look in the past. How do I do this?   I know this question has be asked before generic comes out. Array does win out a bit given Array enforces the return type, it's more type-safe. But now, with latest JDK 7, every time when I design this type of APIs: public String[] getElements(String type) vs public List<String> getElements(String type) I am always struggling to think of some good reasons to return A Collection over An Array or another way around. What's the best practice when it comes to the case of choosing String[] or List as the API's return type? Or it's courses for horses. I don't have a special case in my mind, I am more looking for a generic pros/cons comparison.

I need some classes for playing short wav sounds, this classes would load this wav files into memory when an instance created, play sounds in background when needed, release this wav files from memory when an instance disposed.   I am doing some web development on some long forms. There are many fields for me to fill out to get through the form. Instead of typing out the same things every time (contact information, address, business information) I'm hoping there is some tool out there / combination of tools that will assist me in filling this out. Requirements: I am doing development / testing in FF, IE, and Chrome on a Win 7 system, so the tool would leverage one of those platforms.   I need to create TCP/IP headers manually for my application. For that i used Raw socket. My system os is win xp (SP3). My code compiles fine :) but it throws a run time error: Initialising Winsock...Initialised successfully. Creating Raw TCP Socket...Raw TCP Socket Created successfully. Setting the socket in RAW mode...Successful. Enter hostname : 192.168.1.152 Resolving Hostname...Resolved. Enter Source IP : 192.168.1.151 Sending packet... Error sending Packet : 10022 I have set IP_HDRINCL to 1. What am i doing wrong? I switched off the firewall too but still get the same result.

• GIT Clones on Multiple Machines

  Here's my setup... Laptop (Mac) - git clone of svn repository Thumb drive - git clone of laptop git repository Server (Win Server 08) - git clone of thumb drive repository I'm having trouble keeping them in sync for some reason... If I make a change on the server, I'll do a "git pull " on the thumb drive to get the changes. Take the thumb drive to the laptop and do "git pull " on the laptop. From there, I can do "git svn dcommit" and everything goes up to the SVN repo with no problem. If I pull changes from SVN with "git svn rebase" and then do a pull onto the thumb drive and do a "git status" it says that I'm ## revisions ahead of the master/origin and I can't figure out why.

I am logged in using the Administrator user, and whenever I try to issue the backup command in the "command line processor", I get the following message: SQL1092N "ADMINISTRATOR" does not have the authority to perform the requested command. SQLSTATE=00000 BTW, I have created a username/password pair (db2admin) while installing the DB2 server. So, Will this problem will be get solved if I use the db2admin user? And how to connect to the server (local server BTW) using the db2admin user ?

• How do I transfer configuration data into injected objects?

  I used to use Spring.Net and want to switch to Ninject 1.5 (I have to use .NET2, since some unlucky guy like me still needs to consider users working with win 2k). I used to have everything done in xml and only invoke the container during startup. In this way, only very limited codes are depending on container. I have scenarios like this and I wonder how to do the same in Ninject. I have external config file, which are the items the end users can change basing on their environment/preferences. And some of my objects depends on those values to initialize. Mostly they are primary values, but some times can be list/dictionaries/etc.
