    The hours and effort needed to increase the visibility of your small business website depend greatly on your marketing plan and which keyword you're going after. • Apache is reponding a blank white page

    - by Bruno Araujo
    I have the following situation: A site hosted in apache 2.4, with ssl, that works like a charm for a while now, but out of no where, without modifications to the site, apache started serving random blank pages. The workaround this is to delete the cookies of the browser or restart the browser. I've switched the vitualhost to log in debug mode but it didn't got me anywhere. Here is the debug log of a failed page load: [Wed Oct 24 10:57:35.762547 2012] [ssl:info] [pid 27854:tid 140617706374912] [client 192.168.10.150:58917] AH01964: Connection to child 147 established (server xxx.com.br:443) [Wed Oct 24 10:57:35.762739 2012] [ssl:debug] [pid 27854:tid 140617706374912] ssl_engine_kernel.c(1966): [client 192.168.10.150:58917] AH02043: SSL virtual host for servername xxx.com.br found [Wed Oct 24 10:57:35.777479 2012] [ssl:debug] [pid 27854:tid 140617706374912] ssl_engine_kernel.c(1899): [client 192.168.10.150:58917] AH02041: Protocol: TLSv1, Cipher: DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits) [Wed Oct 24 10:57:35.779912 2012] [ssl:debug] [pid 27854:tid 140617706374912] ssl_engine_kernel.c(243): [client 192.168.10.150:58917] AH02034: Initial (No.1) HTTPS request received for child 147 (server xxx.com.br:443) [Wed Oct 24 10:57:35.780044 2012] [authz_core:debug] [pid 27854:tid 140617706374912] mod_authz_core.c(809): [client 192.168.10.150:58917] AH01628: authorization result: granted (no directives) [Wed Oct 24 10:57:40.783950 2012] [ssl:info] [pid 27854:tid 140617706374912] (70007)The timeout specified has expired: [client 192.168.10.150:58917] AH01991: SSL input filter read failed. • Split horizon, route filtering, and having RIPv2 announce a non-attached route to host

    - by Paul
    Routers A, B & C live at 10.1.1.1, 10.1.1.2 and 10.1.1.3 on a /24 metro Ethernet subnet. Each router also has its own private subnet on another interface. Router B's private subnet links thru a firewall to a 10.20.20.0 network at another organization. Router B redistributes to A and C several static routes for hosts on 10.20.20.0. However, a new host 10.20.20.5/32 must be reached via a different path that goes through router C. I know that C can advertise this host-based route with no problem, but I'd like to keep all my 10.20.20.x static routes in one place. So, how can B tell A via RIPv2 to send packets for 10.20.20.5/32 to C? So far it looks like I need no ip split-horizon on router B's 10.1.1.2 interface, perhaps because B has already learned from C other routes with a next hop of 10.1.1.3. But how does RIPv2 split horizon with no auto-summary and network 10.0.0.0 really work? If B learns a route to ANY 10.x.x.x network or host from A or C, is that enough for split horizon to keep it from redistributing ip route 10.20.20.5 255.255.255.255 10.1.1.3? And if I want to suspend split horizon only for this one new host, how do I filter out the mess of regurgitated routes that B advertises when I try no ip split-horizon? Thanks much.

  • Split horizon, route filtering, and having RIPv2 announce a non-attached route to host...

  • replica set with multiple primary nodes

    - by miguel
    I am trying to configure a replica set with three nodes: node A, B and C. I execute the rs.add()'s from node A and after that rs.status() shows that the three nodes are PRIMARY. Moreover node B and C have 0 pingMs. If I execute rs.status() from node B or C the only node listed is the self (As PRIMARY). I tried adding an arbiter but it didn't work (it behaved as the nodes B and C). I think this can be a networking problem but I can't figure it out. Edit: This is the output for netstat -anp|grep 27017: tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:27017 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN - tcp 0 0 10.0.1.211:55772 10.0.1.213:27017 TIME_WAIT - tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:50509 127.0.0.1:27017 ESTABLISHED - tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:27017 127.0.0.1:50509 ESTABLISHED - tcp 0 0 10.0.1.211:55774 10.0.1.213:27017 TIME_WAIT - tcp 0 0 10.0.1.211:55776 10.0.1.213:27017 ESTABLISHED - tcp 0 0 10.0.1.211:39180 10.0.1.212:27017 ESTABLISHED - tcp 0 0 10.0.1.211:39178 10.0.1.212:27017 TIME_WAIT - tcp 0 0 10.0.1.211:39176 10.0.1.212:27017 TIME_WAIT - unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 3291267 - /tmp/mongodb-27017.sock the private ips for the node B and C are 10.0.1.212 and 10.0.1.213 respectively (they appear to have an established connection in the 27017 port according to the netstat output).

  • Route through site-to-site VPN not working

    - by Jonathan
    I'm trying to set up a site-to-site VPN using RRAS on two 2K8r2 servers since yesterday. The connection is working at this point, but I can't get it to send traffic from one site to the other one. Set up: the set up is the same on both sites: the server is connected to a router that's connected to a modem. The routers act like a DHCP-server and assign IP addresses from the range subnet.21-subnet-.100. Both servers use a static IP address, subnet.11, and are set up as DMZ. Configuration: the servers are configured using the wizard to set up a site-to-site connection. This works with a demand-dial interface and a PPTP VPN connection. As mentioned, the VPN connection work properly. Problem: I can't get the servers to send the traffic for the other site, to be sent through the VPN connection. I added a static route on both server (home, office 1) and I can see the result in the IP routing table (home, office 1). I did this because the route didn't show up automatically. My guess is that this last step isn't right, for example because the routing table states "non demand-dial", which seems not correct. Home: Subnet: 10.0.1.0/24 Router: 10.0.1.1 Server: 10.0.1.11 (DMZ) DHCP: 10.0.1.21-10.0.1.100 RRAS DHCP: 10.0.1.101-10.0.1.150 Office 1: Subnet: 10.0.2.0/24 Router: 10.0.2.1 Server: 10.0.2.11 (DMZ) DHCP: 10.0.2.21-10.0.2.100 RRAS DHCP: 10.0.2.101-10.0.2.150 I hope someone has an idea to get this route working!

  • Troubleshoot port forwarding. Could it be ISP blocking incoming connections?

    - by Gravy
    Had a new Axis IP camera delivered yesterday. Plugged into Cisco E2400 Wireless Router but having problems. Example topology: WAN IP: 10.10.10.10 (example) Cisco Router: 192.168.1.1 Axis Camera: 192.168.1.10:80 Port forwarding rules set up on router External Port: 999 Internal Port: 80 Protocol: TCP & UDP Device IP: 192.168.1.10:80 Enabled: True Trying to connect from within the lan to 192.168.1.1:80 from within browser - Works properly. Trying to connect from within the lan to 10:10:10:10:999 from within browser - Works properly. Trying to connect from outside the LAN (e.g. via 3g or another isp) to 10:10:10:10:999 from within browser - Doesnt work. I get the following errors from different machines / browsers: Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding (IOS) The server at xx.xx.xx.xx is taking too long to respond. (firefox) This problem is not just for the Axis camera. I am also having similar problems connecting to my NAS drive. After using a web based port scanning tool, it appears as though port 999 is closed. Not certain why when I have set up port forwarding within the router. Any troubleshooting suggestions to help me determine whether the problem is with my Cisco settings / firewall or whether it could be my ISP blocking incoming connection requests? Many thanks

  • PHP - fgetcsv - Delimiter being ignored?

    - by KnockKnockWhosThere
    I'm trying to output each line in a csv file, and it seems like the delimiter is being ignored... I'm sure my syntax is wrong somewhere, but can't seem to pinpoint it... The CSV file looks like this: ID,Code,Count TM768889,02001,10 TM768889,02002,10 TM768889,02003,10 TM768889,02004,10 TM768889,02005,10 I'm trying to output: 0 - ID,Code,Count 1 - TM768889,02001,10 2 - TM768889,02002,10 3 - TM768889,02003,10 4 - TM768889,02004,10 5 - TM768889,02005,10 But instead, it's outputting this: 0 - ID 1 - Code 2 - Count TM768889 3 - 02001 4 - 10 TM768889 5 - 02002 6 - 10 TM768889 7 - 02003 8 - 10 TM768889 9 - 02004 10 - 10 TM768889 11 - 02005 12 - 10 Here's my code: $row = 0; if(($handle = fopen($_FILES["Filedata"]["tmp_name"], "r")) !== FALSE) { $string = ''; while(($line = fgetcsv($handle,1000,",")) !== FALSE) { $num = count($line); $row++; for($c=0; $c < $num; $c++) { $string .= $c.' - '.$line[$c].'<br />'; } } fclose($handle); echo $string; }

  • Letters in base-conversion

    - by tech_geek23
    I have this code written so far and is correct, aside from not using A-F when the value is over 10: public class TenToAny { private int base10; private int newBase; public TenToAny() { } public TenToAny(int ten, int base) { base10 = ten; newBase = base; } public void setNums(int ten, int base) { base10 = ten; newBase = base; } public String getNewNum() { String newNum=""; int orig = base10; //int first = newBase - 1; while(orig > 0) { newNum = orig%newBase + newNum; orig = orig/newBase; } return newNum; } public String toString() { String complete = base10 + " base 10 is " + getNewNum() + " in base " + newBase; return complete; } } Obviously I don't have anything relating to values over 10 converting to A-F as I've never dealt with these before. Any help is appreciated. Here's my runner class: public class Lab09i { public static void main( String args[] ) { TenToAny test = new TenToAny(234, 9); out.println(test); test.setNums(100, 2); out.println(test); test.setNums(10, 2); out.println(test); test.setNums(15, 2); out.println(test); test.setNums(256, 2); out.println(test); test.setNums(100, 8); out.println(test); test.setNums(250, 16); out.println(test); test.setNums(56, 11); out.println(test); test.setNums(89, 5); out.println(test); test.setNums(23, 3); out.println(test); test.setNums(50, 5); out.println(test); test.setNums(55, 6); out.println(test); test.setNums(2500, 6); out.println(test); test.setNums(2500, 13); out.println(test); } } this is what my results should be: 234 base 10 is 280 in base 9 100 base 10 is 1100100 in base 2 10 base 10 is 1010 in base 2 15 base 10 is 1111 in base 2 256 base 10 is 100000000 in base 2 100 base 10 is 144 in base 8 250 base 10 is FA in base 16 56 base 10 is 51 in base 11 89 base 10 is 324 in base 5 23 base 10 is 212 in base 3 50 base 10 is 302 in base 4 55 base 10 is 131 in base 6 2500 base 10 is 9C4 in base 16 2500 base 10 is 11A4 in base 13

  • port forwarding on windows server 2008 to Hyper-v machines

    - by This is it
    I have a host machine (win server 2008 R2) with several Hyper-V virtual machines. I want to be able to redirect certain ports of host to virtual machines. There is virtual network connection between host and virtual machines (192.168.10.xxx). Host is also attached to external network (10.10.10.123). Virtual machines have several other networks between them. E.g., I want to be able to redirect traffic from 10.10.10.123 12345 to 192.168.10.321 54321 I tried RRAS in windows server but for it to work Default gateway to 10.10.10.123 has to be set in virtual machines. Virtual machines can not be on external network.

  • How to (hardware) RAID 10 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with 4 drives and motherboard with RAID contoller

    - by lollercoaster
    I have 4 500GB hard drives. I set up a RAID 10 in BIOS, much like shown here: http://www.supermicro.com/manuals/other/RAID_SATA_ESB2.pdf Then I followed these instructions: http://www.unrest.ca/Knowledge-Base/configuring-mdadm-raid10-for-ubuntu-910 Basically I cannot get it to work. I go through the instructions when I get to the "partition" section of the install, creating 4 RAID 1's (2 partitions on each drive, one for primary and one for swap space), then combining to make a RAID 10. Unfortunately it still shows 2 partitions, one 500 GB and another being 36GB for some reason. Any ideas? I think best would be if anyone had found good instructions (step by step) for how to do this...I've been googling for hours and haven't found anything...

  • Which is faster? 4x10k SAS Drives in RAID 10 or 3x15k SAS Drives in RAID 5?

    - by Jenkz
    I am reviewing quote for a server upgrade. (RHEL). The server will have both Apache and MySQL on it, but the reason for upgrade is to increase DB performance. CPU has been upgraded massively, but I know that disk speed is also a factor. So RAID 10 is faster performance than RAID 5, but how much difference does the drive speed make? (The 15k discs in the RAID 5 config is at the top of my budget btw, hence not considdering 4x15k discs in RAID 10, which I assume would be the optimum.)

  • Can't access shared drive when connecting over VPN

    - by evolvd
    I can ping all network devices but it doesn't seem that DNS is resolving their hostnames. ipconfig/ all is showing that I am pointing to the correct dns server. I can "ping "dnsname"" and it will resolve but it wont resolve any other names. Split tunnel is set up so outside DNS is resolving fine So one issue might be DNS but I have the IP address of the server share so I figure I could just get to it that way. example: \10.0.0.1\ well I can't get to it that way either and I get "the specified network name is no longer available" I can ping it but I can't open the share. • Can Windows 7 or Vista's Snipping Tool capture a screen 10 seconds later, and capture the mouse poin

    - by Jian Lin
    I wonder if Windows 7 or Vista's Snipping Tool can capture a screen 10 seconds later, and capture the mouse pointer as well? The thing is that sometimes we need to capture the thing that "pops up" when the mouse is over it, so in that case, Snippling tool won't seem to work (because the mouse pointer is activating the Snipping tool instead of pointing at the thing to get the "pop up" item). In this case, the key PrtScn on the keyboard can capture the screen to the clipboard, except it won't capture the mouse pointer, which is sometimes wanted... Is there a way to do that, and possibly say, "capture the screen 10 seconds later, when I am all ready?" thanks.
