  • Apache 2.4 with PHP-FPM

    - by tubaguy50035
I'm trying to setup Apache 2.4 with PHP-FPM 5.4 using the new modules with Apache 2.4. The following is what I have currently in my virtual host file: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin root@localhost DocumentRoot /var/www #Directory permissions <Directory /var/www/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride None Require all granted </Directory> CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined </VirtualHost> I have PHP-FPM running using Unix sockets with a sock file located at /var/run/php5-fpm.sock. How do I proxy my requests to this sock file? I've seen some sites say to use ProxyPassMatch and others are saying Rewrite Rule. Are there pros or cons on either side? Also, most sites I'm seeing are showing ProxyPassMatch with a regex to only pass .php files. Could I also send it .html files? For whatever reason, we have a ton of PHP inside .html files. Edit: As noted in the comments, it looks like mod_proxy_fcgi doesn't support Unix sockets. Is there another module I should be using?

  • SubDomain creation issue.Ubuntu 12.04 Apache 2.22 Webmin

    - by anarchos78
I have a technical question concerning subdomains. My installation is UBUNTU 12.04 and WEBMIN for administration (using Apache web server). I am trying to create a subdomain to one IP (the domain is www.ithemis.gr and I want to create test.ithemis.gr and/or test1.ithemis.gr) with no success. I think I've tried the right way to set subdomains. The address does not resolving (I have already created DNS records via BIND). Do you have any suggestions? I am very new in server administration. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Apache configuration: In /etc/apache2/sites-available: Conf file:www.ithemis.gr.conf (main website) <VirtualHost 184.171.255.110:80> DocumentRoot /home/ithemis.gr ServerName www.ithemis.gr <Directory "/home/ithemis.gr"> allow from all #Options +Indexes Options +Includes -Indexes </Directory> </VirtualHost> Conf file:www.test.ithemis.gr.conf (subdomain website): <VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot /home/test.ithemis.gr ServerName test.ithemis.gr <Directory "/home/test.ithemis.gr"> allow from all Options +Indexes </Directory> </VirtualHost> My DNS records: Master Zone: ithemis.gr Name Type TTL Values ithemis.gr. • trouble running multiple domains on tomcat behind apache via mod_jk

I am having trouble setting up tomcat6 with 2 virtual hosts, behind apache2. if i have just one host defined in tomcat, and one jk worker, everything works fine. as soon as i define another jk worker and a corresponding tomcat host i get this error in jk.log: 9:3075328656] [info] ajp_connect_to_endpoint::jk_ajp_common.c (922): Failed opening socket to (69.164.218.75:8009) (errno=111) [Tue Feb 08 03:08:13 2011] [17159:3075328656] [error] ajp_send_request::jk_ajp_common.c (1507): (dogself) connecting to backend failed. • Apache returns HTTP 206 for GET /file.mp3

    - by javano
I am making a get request to an SSL enabled site on apache (so wireshark isn't giving me anything to useful). In my Apache SSL access log I see the following entry: 1.2.3.4 - my.username [15/Nov/2012:16:52:01 +0000] "GET /uploads/file.mp3 HTTP/1.1" 206 534400 "https://site.com/uploads/layla.mp3" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu/12.04 Chromium/18.0.1025.168 Chrome/18.0.1025.168 Safari/535.19" Why is this happening? I'm not familiar with the HTTP 206 response code but searching the Internet I can see it is a partial content GET requests. I understand correctly, my browser is making a partial GET request not for the full file. Is that correct? If so, is this a browser issue or is the web server instructing my browser to do so? I have tested in Firefox also and in both browser, I am not sent the file. If I rename the file to file.jpg I can download it through my browser and rename it to .mp3 and it plays. How can I troubleshoot this issue?

  • Wake on Demand for Apache server in OS X 10.8

    - by Gary
Mac OS X Mountain Lion does not have a Web Sharing box in the Sharing system prefs menu. It is thoroughly discussed on the web that the Apache server is available, and that it can be turned on manually in the command line, or by using a convenient Prefs Pane. That works while the computer is awake. But, when my computer goes to sleep, the server stops working, even though Wake for Network Access is checked in the Energy Saver Pref Pane. From the discussion on Bonjour, I see that this problem probably results from the fact that Apache isn't registered with Bonjour. Does that sound likely? If not, please make some suggestions. The connection is via hard-wired ethernet. If registration with Bonjour is the problem, I'd like to know how to register it. You gave a nice description of dns-sd, and the command description says dns-sd -R Name Type Domain Port [TXT...] (Register a service)", but I don't know what to use for "Name" or "Type", or the format of the domain. I tried some dns-sd -B searches and found nothing I could use as a model, and it doesn't show up in Bonjour Browser. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Apache Server Status page in port 8443

    - by batman
I'm very new to apache. I tried to enable the server status page of apache. I added the status.conf and status.load to mods-enabled directory. I changed the config of apache2.conf to include all mods-enabled directory. This is the config of staus.conf: <IfModule mod_status.c> # # Allow server status reports generated by mod_status, # with the URL of http://servername/server-status # Uncomment and change the "192.0.2.0/24" to allow access from other hosts. # <Location /server-status> SetHandler server-status Order deny, allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1 ::1 # Allow from 192.0.2.0/24 </Location> # Keep track of extended status information for each request ExtendedStatus On # Determine if mod_status displays the first 63 characters of a request or # the last 63, assuming the request itself is greater than 63 chars. # Default: Off #SeeRequestTail On <IfModule mod_proxy.c> # Show Proxy LoadBalancer status in mod_status ProxyStatus On </IfModule> </IfModule> The default settings. I restarted my server. I'm redirecting all ports to 8443. Which in turn turns my requests to localhost:8443/server-status. Which does throw an 404 error. Are there any way to get around this? Thanks in advance.

  • Apache override in sub-location

    - by Atmocreations
This is my Apache vHost-configuration: <VirtualHost subversion.domain.com:80> ServerAdmin [email protected] ServerName servername.domain.com Documentroot /srv/www/htdocs/svn ErrorLog /var/log/apache2/subversion-error_log CustomLog /var/log/apache2/subversion-access_log combined HostnameLookups Off UseCanonicalName Off ServerSignature Off <Location "/"> AuthBasicProvider ldap AuthType Basic AuthzLDAPAuthoritative on AuthName "SVN" AuthLDAPURL "ldap://myldapurl/..." NONE AuthLDAPBindDN "mybinddn" AuthLDAPBindPassword mypwd DAV svn SVNParentPath /svn/ SVNListParentPath on require ldap-group groupname Order allow, deny Allow from all </Location> </VirtualHost> This works perfectly. But I would now like to add a web-frontend for the subversion server. I therefore added the lines <Location "/web"> DAV off Order allow, deny Allow from all </Location> But they don't work, as the <Location "/">...</Location> part is directing the requests to the SVN/DAV module. Therefore, apache tells that it couldn't open the requested SVN-filsystem. Does anybody know how to override this setting? Any hint is appreciated.

  • Isolating Apache virtualhosts from the rest of the system

    - by JesperB
I am setting up a web server that will host a number of different web sites as Apache VirtualHosts, each of these will have the possibility to run scripts (primarily PHP, possiblu others). My question is how I isolate each of these VirtualHosts from eachother and from the rest of the system? I don't want e.g. website X to read the configuration of website Y or any of the server's "private" files. At the moment I have set up the VirtualHosts with FastCGI, PHP and SUExec as described here (http://x10hosting.com/forums/vps-tutorials/148894-debian-apache-2-2-fastcgi-php-5-suexec-easy-way.html), but the SUExec only prevents users from editing/executing files other than their own - the users can still read sensitive information such as config files. I have thought about removing the UNIX global read permission for all files on the server, as this would fix the above problem, but I'm not sure if I can safely do this without disrupting the server function. I also looked into using chroot, but it seems that this can only be done on a per-server basis, and not on a per-virtual-host basis. I'm looking for any suggestions that will isolate my VirtualHosts from the rest of the system. PS I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 server

  • Apache Named Virtual Hosts and HTTPS

    - by Freddie Witherden
I have an SSL certificate which is valid for multiple (sub-) domains. In Apache I have configured this as follows: In /etc/apache2/apache2.conf NameVirtualHost <my ip>:443 Then for one named virtual host I have <VirtualHost <my ip>:443> ServerName ... SSLEngine on SSLCertificateFile ... SSLCertificateKeyFile ... SSLCertificateChainFile ... SSLCACertificateFile ... </VirtualHost> Finally, for every other site I want to be accessible over HTTPS I just have a <VirtualHost <my ip>:443> ServerName ... </VirtualHost> The good news is that it works. However, when I start Apache I get warning messages [warn] Init: SSL server IP/port conflict: Domain A:443 (...) vs. Domain B:443 (...) [warn] Init: SSL server IP/port conflict: Domain C:443 (...) vs. Domain B:443 (...) [warn] Init: You should not use name-based virtual hosts in conjunction with SSL!! So, my question is: how should I be configuring this? Clearly from the warning messages I am doing something wrong (although it does work!), however, the above configuration was the only one I could get to work. It is somewhat annoying as the configuration files have an explicit dependence on my IP address.

  • Apache Virtual Host with directory aliases

    - by brechtvhb
I'm trying to set up a dynamic virtual host in apache with a directory alias pointing to a difirent path for every domain. Here's what I'm trying to achive. Say I have 2 domains: * www.domain1.com * www.domein2.com I want both to point to the same index.php file (C:/cms/index.php). Now the hard part ... I want directories or certain file types to point to a diffirent path for each domain. Example: * www.domain1.com/layout -> C:/store/www.domain1.com/layout * www.domain2.com/layout -> C:/store/www.domain2.com/layout * www.domain1.com/image.png -> C:/store/www.domain1.com/image.png * www.domain2.com/image.png -> C:/store/www.domain2.com/image.png However the admin directory should point to the same path again for all sites * www.domain1.com/admin -> C:/cms/admin * www.domain2.com/admin -> C:/cms/admin Is there a way to achieve this kind of behaviour in apache 2.2 without having to create a virtualhost entry for each new domain?

  • Why isn't Apache Basic authentication working?

    - by Brad
I just upgraded Apache from it's 2003 build, to a squeaky-clean, brand-new 2.4.1 build. All seems pretty good except for one glaring thing: In my httpd.conf file I have the following: <Directory /> AllowOverride none Options FollowSymLinks AuthType Basic AuthName "Enter Password" AuthUserFile /var/www/.htpasswd Require valid-user </Directory> This should allow only users in the specified auth file to access the server - just as it had under the older version of Apache. (Right?) However, it's not working. Requests are granted with no authentication provided. When I switch logging to LogLevel Debug, for the accesses, it says: [Sat Mar 24 21:32:00.585139 2012] [authz_core:debug] [pid 10733:tid 32771] mod_authz_core.c(783): [client 192.168.1.181:57677] AH01626: authorization result of Require all granted: granted [Sat Mar 24 21:32:00.585446 2012] [authz_core:debug] [pid 10733:tid 32771] mod_authz_core.c(783): [client 192.168.1.181:57677] AH01626: authorization result of <RequireAny>: granted I really don't know what this means - and I (to the best of my knowledge) don't have any "Require all granted" or "" statements in any of my files. Any ideas why this isn't working, or where to debug??

  • Nginx + Apache + Wordpress redirects to localhost/127.0.0.1

    - by jcrcj
Anyone know how to fix an issue with Nginx + Apache + Wordpress redirecting to localhost/127.0.0.1? I've tried a lot of different fixes, but none have worked for me. I can go to http://domain.com/wp-admin just fine and use everything there normally. But if I try to go to http://domain.com it redirects to 127.0.0.1. Everything also works fine if I just run through Apache. Here are the relevant portions of my nginx.conf: server { listen 80; server_name domain.com; root /var/www/html/wordpress; location / { try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php; } location ~ \.php$ { proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8080; } } Here are the relevant portions of my httpd.conf: Listen *:8080 ServerName <ip> <VirtualHost *:8080> ServerAdmin test@test DocumentRoot /var/www/html/wordpress ServerName domain.com </VirtualHost> This is what my nginx log loks like: <ip> - - [19/Jun/2012:22:35:35 +0400] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 301 0 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 This is what my httpd log looks like: 127.0.0.1 - - [19/Jun/2012:22:24:46 +0400] "GET /index.php HTTP/1.0" 301 - "-" -- WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) both have same http://domain.com

  • Apache and MySQL not working well after extending filesystem

    - by xtrimsky
    I had 4Gb on my /var (/dev/mapper/vg00-var) filesystem, and I wanted to extend it to 160Gb. I did it following this tutorial: http://faq.1and1.com/dedicated_servers/root_server/linux_admin_help/7.html Now I have 160: Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/md1 4.0G 424M 3.6G 11% / /dev/mapper/vg00-usr 4.3G 1.4G 3.0G 32% /usr /dev/mapper/vg00-var 198G 6.5G 192G 4% /var /dev/mapper/vg00-home 4.3G 4.4M 4.3G 1% /home none 1.1G 0 1.1G 0% /tmp Now I have a problem, in order for Apache to work, each time I reboot, I need to also reboot apache: "apachectl -k restart" which is already terrible. I think this is because /var contains the htdocs The worst part is, mysql is not starting at all. Mysql has some files also in /var What have I done wrong ?? :( Thank you EDIT: Attaching /var/log/mysqld.log: 120602 11:17:44 InnoDB: Waiting for the background threads to start 120602 11:17:45 InnoDB: 1.1.8 started; log sequence number 8354009 120602 11:17:45 [ERROR] /usr/libexec/mysqld: unknown variable 'set-variable=local-infile=0' 120602 11:17:45 [ERROR] Aborting 120602 11:17:45 InnoDB: Starting shutdown... 120602 11:17:46 InnoDB: Shutdown completed; log sequence number 8354009 120602 11:17:46 [Note] /usr/libexec/mysqld: Shutdown complete 120602 11:17:46 mysqld_safe mysqld from pid file /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.pid ended

  • can some one give me a sample gzip code for htaccess?

    - by Haroldo
I'm keen to get started experimenting with gzip, but like i used to find php.net when i first started learning php, the apache documentation confuses me a bit. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_deflate.html I'd really appreciate a sample htaccess file to have a look at if anyone's got one? Also are there things which should be changed in the htconf file instead of htaccess if I'm enabling gzipping server-wide? Sorry i'm a newb with apache!

  • Remove an apache alias subdirectory

    - by Hippyjim
I'm using Apache 2 on Ubuntu 12.04. I added an alias for a subdirectory, to point to gitweb. I realised I should probably make it accessible only on https - so I removed the alias and restarted Apache. I can still navigate to http://xyz/gitweb - even with no alias in any of my config files. How do I remove it? EDIT The config file looked like this before: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost DocumentRoot /home/administrator/webroot <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None </Directory> <Directory /home/administrator/webroot/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> Alias /gitweb/ /usr/share/gitweb/ <Directory /usr/share/gitweb/> Options ExecCGI +FollowSymLinks +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch AllowOverride All order allow, deny Allow from all AddHandler cgi-script cgiDirectory Index gitweb.cgi </Directory> ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride None Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, # alert, emerg. LogLevel warn CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined </VirtualHost> And this after: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost DocumentRoot /home/administrator/webroot <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None </Directory> <Directory /home/administrator/webroot/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride None Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, # alert, emerg. • Setting up apache vhost for Icinga

    - by DKNUCKLES
It's been a while since I've worked with Apache so please be kind - I'm also aware of this question but it hasn't been much help to me. I'd like to set up a simple vHost w/ Apache for my Icinga instance. Icinga is up and running and I can access it from x.x.x.x/icinga, however would like to be able to access it externally as well as internally. I have set up the /etc/hosts file and the following is my barebones vhost statement in httpd.conf <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /usr/share/icinga ServerName icinga.domain.com ErrorLog logs/icinga.com-error_log CustomLog logs/dummy-host.example.com-access_log common </VirtualHost> I also have the following in my .htaccess file <Directory> Allow From All Satisfy Any </Directory> An entry has been made for the instance in the Windows DNS server on my network, however when I try to access the site by URL I am greeted with Internal Server Error. Reviewing the /var/log/icinga.com-error_log I see the following entry. [Thu Dec 13 16:04:39 2012] [alert] [client 10.0.0.1] /usr/share/icinga/.htaccess: <Directory not allowed here Can someone help me spot the error of my ways?

  • Apache Server with memcache, varnish and php slow request times

    - by coolestdude1
My issue is that these servers are taking rather long for request about 2 seconds on average just to serve files. When we had just one server doing everything it was noticeably faster even with the same web app (Drupal 6 and Drupal 7). I want to get this number down to a reasonable level and so I need some help getting to the bottom of why the request times are so slow. This can cause the webapp to hang on post or put and generally leads to a bad user experience on my sites. PS: I am more of a server newbie so this has confounded me for quite some time. The domains: collabornation.net nptrainingworks.com (they run off the same two webservers using vhost configs) The Gear: Two Rackspace 4 Gig servers running CentOS 6.2 Final They have a mounted file system (gluster) that is used to keep files the same on both machines. They are behind a rackspace load balancer running round robin. Mysql is run using php-pdo and php-mysql as such mysql is run on another instance running memcache on that machine with phpMyAdmin located there as well. Apache version number 2.2.15-15.el6.centos.1 (httpd.x86_64) Varnish version number 3.0.2-1.el5 (varnish.x86_64) PHP version number 5.3.14-1.el6.remi (php.x86_64) Configs Linked Below Apache Conf Vhost Conf Varnish Backends Varnish Defaults Varnish Acl PHP INI Again need some help, much appreciated!

  • Setting ownership/permissions for symfony2 and other web projects

    - by Handonam
I've been very confused as to how to set permissions and user/groups for my sites. It is particularly one of my weakest suits My curent problem is that I often find myself running into a situation where if i view a particular page, it won't have permissions to write to cache or logs. At this point I'll set the ownership towards apache. Then, in other cases, if i try to run internal scripts, for example, I can't write to these cache/log files because i set them for apache. Currently, my symfony2 files are all registered to me as a part of staff (Handonam:Staff). I've seen various people creating groups such as www-data, apache, etc, and using users such as theirselves (e.g. Handonam) or www as a part of those groups. So my question is: For symfony2 and other web projects, what's generally the best setup for user/group setup so that both apache and myself can interact with these files, while maintaining decent security?

  • proxy pass domain FROM default apache port 80 TO nginx on another port

    - by user10580
Im still learning server things so hope the title is descriptive enough. Basically i have sub.domain.com that i want to run on nginx at port 8090. I want to leave apache alone and have it catch all default traffic at port 80. so i am trying something with a virtual name host to proxy pass to sub.domain.com:8090, nothing working yet and go no idea what the right syntax could be. any ideas? most of what i found was to pass TO apache FROM nginx, but i want to the do the opposite. LoadModule proxy_module modules/mod_proxy.so LoadModule proxy_http_module modules/mod_proxy_http.so <VirtualHost sub.domain.com:80> ProxyPreserveHost On ProxyRequests Off ServerName sub.domain.com DocumentRoot /home/app/public ServerAlias sub.domain.com proxyPass / http://appname:8090/ (also tried localhost and sub.domain.com) ProxyPassReverse / http://appname:8090/ </VirtualHost> when i do this i get [warn] module proxy_module is already loaded, skippin [warn] module proxy_http_module is already loaded, skipping [error] (EAI 2)Name or service not known: Could not resolve host name sub.domain.com -- ignoring! and yes, the app is working (i have it running on port 80 with another subdomain) and it works at sub.domain.com:8090

  • Full Apache config migration

    - by Victor Rashkov
I searched alot and didn't find an applicable answer. I have a working LAMP setup on Ubuntu machine and I have to migrate to a new server in a different country. The old server is 11.10, the new server is 12.04LTS. My problem is that I simply can not remember the steps I followed when I configured the current server which is not the basic LAMP install. It is Apache with FastCGI, SuEXEC, a GD library, worker MPM and all sitting on top of a mhddfs system. There are also other configs I've changed and I can not recall what they are. Because of the complexity of the setup, my attempts to migrate to the new server fail. I get permissions errors, cgi problems etc. Therefore my question is : Is there a sane way to simply tar a full backup of the current web server installation, including MySQL, Php amd the apache server with all configs, and then move it to the new machine? I shall be forever thankful on any advise. So far non of thise I found here gave me an answer. Thanks!

  • Apache forwarding to tomcat shows a blank page

    - by MNS
I have an application running on tomcat at http ://www.example.com:9090/mycontext. The host name in server.xml points to www .example.com. I do not have localhost anymore. I am using apache to forward requests to tomcat using mod_proxy. Things work fine as long as the ProxyPath is /mycontext. The server name setup in virtual host is www .abc.com and http ://www.abc.com/mycontext works fine. However I would like to ignore the context path and simply use http://www.abc.com/ to forward requests to http://www.example.com:9090/mycontext. When I do this, apache shows me a blank page. What am I missing here? I have not changed anything in server.xml except the default host to www .example.com. <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.abc.com ProxyRequests Off ProxyPreserveHost On <Proxy *> Order deny, allow Allow from all </Proxy> ProxyPass / http://www.example.com:9090/mycontext ProxyPassReverse / http://www.example.com:9090/mycontext </VirtualHost> Thanks

  • 403 Forbiden on Apache (CentOS) Server

    - by pouya
These are my VM setup: HOST: windows 7 ultimate 32bit GUEST: CentOs 6.3 i386 Virtualization soft: Oracle virtualBox 4.1.22 Networking: NAT -> (PORT FORWARD: HOST:8080 => GUEST:80) Shared Folder: centos all the project files goes into shared folder and for each project file a virtualhost conf file is created in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ like /etc/httpd/conf.d/$domain I wasn't able to see anything in my browser before disabling both windows firewall and iptables in centos after that if i type for example: http://www.$domain:8080/ all i see is: Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at www.$domain.com Port 8080 A sample Virtual Host conf file: <VirtualHost *:80> #General DocumentRoot /media/sf_centos/path/to/public_html ServerAdmin webmaster@$domain ServerName www.$domain ServerAlias $domain *.$domain #Logging ErrorLog /var/log/httpd/$domain-error.log CustomLog /var/log/httpd/$domain-access.log combined #mod rewrite RewriteEngine On RewriteLog /var/log/httpd/$domain-rewrite.log RewriteLogLevel 0 </VirtualHost> centos shared folder is availabe to guest at /media/sf_centos These are file permissons for sf_centos: drwxrwx--- root vboxsf vboxsf group includes: apache and root So these are my questions: 1- How to solve Forbidden Problem? 2- How to setup both host and guest firewalls? 3- How can i improve this developement environment to simulate production environment as much as possible specially security improvements?

    - by Pacu
As you'll notice, I'm a bit of a noob on Rails. Here's the thing I have a EC2 Bitnami RubyStack AMI running. I'm trying to deploy the sample project to be sure I'm doing the right thing, but I'm not getting anywhere at all. I just get a 503 error I'm following bitnami's docs on thin + apache Here are my files: the httpd.conf I include in the main httpd.conf Alias /sample "/home/bitnami/stack/projects/sample/public" <Directory "/home/bitnami/stack/projects/sample/public"> AllowOverride None Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ProxyPass /sample balancer://appcluster ProxyPassReverse /sample balancer://appcluster <Proxy balancer://appcluster> BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:3001/sample BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:3002/sample BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:3003/sample BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:3004/sample </Proxy> the thin.yml file chdir: /opt/bitnami/projects/sample environment: production address: 127.0.0.1 port: 3000 timeout: 30 log: log/thin.log pid: tmp/pids/thin.pid max_conns: 1024 max_persistent_conns: 512 require: [] wait: 30 servers: 5 prefix: /sample daemonize: true I'm able to start and stop apache, but thin does not stop correctly though. When I try to stop thin, I get this output /opt/bitnami/projects/sample$ sudo thin -C config/thin.yml stop Stopping server on 127.0.0.1:3000 ... • 404 Not Found for a PL script that exists!

    - by Abs
Hello all, I make a GET request to a CGI script and I get a 404 error. However, I am 100% sure that script is present and it has permissions: -rwxr-xr-x 1 apache apache 6520 Sep 7 03:01 uu_ini_status_audios.pl The request URL is: http://mysite.com/cgi-bin/uu_ini_status_audios.pl?tmp_sid=893facacc5dc392ad0f4c91e6a9e8d40&rnd_id=0.12266222834382812 The error I get: The requested URL /cgi-bin/uu_ini_status_audios.pl was not found on this server. This use to work for me before, but I think it stopped working after I restarted apache so maybe it means its a configuration I changed?? I checked the error logs for apache and php and nothing useful was found to help me with my problem! I appreciate any help on this!
