  Hi, I'm using this mootools javascript snippet to equalize the height of my columns: window.addEvent('domready', function() { var columns = $$('.equalize'); var max_height = 0; columns.each(function(item) { max_height = Math.max(max_height, item.getSize().y); }); columns.setStyle('height', max_height); }); Problem is it's not working properly on Chrome. It's getting the minimum height of the 2 columns instead of getting the maximum. What seems to be the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance!

  tldr; Can you identify devices on your network as an iPhone OS device easily? Can you send push notifications to devices identified as using the iPhone OS on your network without a a target app? Is is possible to identify which devices on a network are using the iPhone OS? With this information, is it possible to send push notifications to these devices? From my understanding, your application server will contact APNs, which will contact the users. So, the above would be impossible. Can someone confirm this for me? Thanks, P.S.

  I am using the jquery.uploadprogress plugin to get the upload progress of a file from the NginxHttpUploadProgressModule. This is inside an iframe for a facebook application. It works in firefox, but it fails in chrome/safari. When I open the console I get this. Uncaught ReferenceError: progressFrame is not defined jquery.uploadprogress.js:80 Any idea how I would fix that? I would like to also send the file using AJAX when it is completed. How would I implement that? EDIT: I need this soon and it is important so I am going to put a 100 point bounty on this question. The first person to answer it will receive the 100 points. • Safari/Chrome (Webkit) - Cannot hide iframe vertical scrollbar

  Hello, I have an iframe on www.mydomain.com that points to support.mydomain.com (which is a CNAME to a foreign domain). I automatically resize the height of my iframe so that the frame will not need any scrollbars to display the contained webpage. On Firefox and IE this works great, there is no scrollbar since I use <iframe ... scrolling="no"></iframe>. However, on webkit browsers (Safari and Chrome), the vertical scrollbar persists even when there is sufficient room for the page without the scrollbar (the scrollbar is grayed out). How do I hide the scrollbar for webkit browsers? Thanks, Ken

  Hi, I've built a site in Interspire Web Publisher and it was working fine, seems to work in Firefox, Safari and Chrome but when I fired up Internet Explorer 7 & 8 only the home page works, all links to other pages show up nothing. Do you think it could have something to do with the .htaccess file? But why would it work at one point then not another?   I wrote code that injects a function in Internet Explorer/Chrome but it doesn't work with these processes. Basically, it fills one big structure with all the APIs my function needs, strings, and other data, then it opens a process to get a handle, virtualallocex to allocate enough memory to store a function and structure there, and it writes the function and the structure in allocated memory. It then runs createremotethread there with the function as a starting address and structure as parameter. It works all great with calc/notepad/winamp processes but I have problems with browser injection.   I need to use Subversion with Eclipse on Mac Lion. I encounter problem as below I saw: Subclipse in Mac OS Lion In my context: I use Mac OS Line 10.7.2 Eclipse version: 3.7.1 64 bit I install Subversion: Universal Subversion 1.6.17 Binaries for Lion (Mac OS X 10.7) in the page: http://www.open.collab.net/downloads/community/ I install Subclipse by the "Install New Software..." feature of Eclipse with the update link: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.8.x It install Subclipse 1.8.2, JavaHL 1.7.1.1 and some other packages. When I go to menu Preferences/ Team / SVN , it produce error: "Incompatible JavaHL library loaded. 1.7.x or later required." I find to install SVN Kit, so use it instead of JavaHL as the very first link refer (here), but I don't see it in Subclipse package.

  I am a bit confusing in selecting the target version in Windows phone7 Application development. In my Windows phone7 app I need to use a light weight relational DB Which didn't introduce with version 7.0 but SQL CE with 7.1 version. The problem is if I select the target version as 7.1, then the devices which came up with windows phone7 OS 7.0 will not be able to install this. But I heard that all the devices that came with windows phone7 OS version 7.0 is upgradable for windows OS version 7.1 for free. If this is the case then if I select the development SDK version as 7.1, then will all the windows phone7 devices be able to install this? Like to know which will be the best Target version in this case to select, before I start developing. Any guidance/ Idea is highly appreciated. Thanks...

  I'm modifying a dynamically created input element by setting the innerHTML, when I view the element in the DOM Inspector I can see that the values I passed are in the input. However, I can't see it on the page? Is there a refresh() function that I should be calling after setting the value? I have tried innerText, and value and gotten the same results.   Hi, Is there any alternative or work around so that I can use zoomScale in Iphone OS 2.0. It seems the property is only available in Iphone OS 3.0 or later? I have two subviews in my UIScrollView and if the first subview reach a specified scale then it will change to the other subview and save the current scale to zoomScale so that the new subview will apply to the previous scale. Like for example in, scrollViewDidEndZooming, scrollView.zoomScale = scale; When I run my app in Iphone OS 2.0, it gives me error saying invalid zoomScale invalid selector. How can I work around this? Thanks.

  Hello, I need to generate small images for certain parts of text. Those will have to fit into the text seamlessly. I know I can not make up for every browser font settings available, but how do I have to check for Linux, Mac and Windows users depending on the user agent? I want to use the right font (of the three "Verdana, Arial, Helvetiva") for the right user agent OS. So: How do I check for the OS? What do I have to compare to in the user agent? Where can I get the other two fonts. Does the Windows-included Verdana look the same as the one used on Linux (or, is it free anyway? I don't know much about fonts)? Where do I get Helvetica? Is it Mac OS licensed? Any code examples can be in either c# or VB.NET. I can read both. Thank you in advance.

But in CHROME (4.0.249.43) I get a dark black overlay with 100% opacity. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

  Not really a programming related question but... I'd like very much to experiment with WebGL on my spare time. My current 'spare time' machine is a MacBook running Mac OS X Tiger (10.4.xx) and I'm unable to find a new browser supporting this OS. Firefox dropped support, Chrome too, and Safari idem. I read somewhere that this is due to a Quicktime bug that Apple won't fix. Does anyone have more information on this issue ? Does anyone have a clue or track to find a running implementation of WebGL on Mac OS X 10.4 ? Cheers,

  I have a html page. It is chrome://. I have a select box. Giving it the oncommand attribute won't work. So I have to use onchange however you have the typical problem with onchange where it doesnt work if user uses the keyboard arrows, or letters of items to change things. Is there anyway to attach onCommand to my select box? I want to avoid to use onkeyup as then i have to to validation to see if it really changed (which would require me saving previous values).
