  I have been learning Asterisk dial plan for the past week.I have written down a simple IVR system with two levels of menu and an exit option.I have used concepts from different tutorials on the web.Can someone confirm if the IVR below is correct? • How to truncate milliseconds off of a .NET DateTime

  I'm trying to compare a time stamp from an incoming request to a database stored value. SQL Server of course keeps some precision of milliseconds on the time, and when read into a .NET DateTime, it includes those milliseconds. The incoming request to the system, however, does not offer that precision, so I need to simply drop the milliseconds. I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but I haven't found an elegant way to do it (C#).

• Android non-full screen app startup during voice call

  Hello, Is it possible to start the application on the Android phone (starting with Froyo), when there is an incoming voice call? In other words, the incoming voice call should trigger the application startup. In such a case the application should not be full-screen, but should cover only part of the screen to not hide the native controls for accepting or rejecting the call. • Opening a streaming connection to an HTTP server on iPhone/Cocoa environment?

  I've been using NSURLConnection to do a HTTP post to establish the connection. I've also implemented the didReceiveData delegagate to process incoming bytes as they become available. As incoming data comes in via didReceiveData, I add the NSData to a data buffer and try parsing the bytesteam if enough data has come in to complete a message segment. I'm having a hard time managing the data buffer (NSMutableData object) to remove bytes that have been parsed to structs. Was curious if there's an easier way. Thanks

In order to make all the email pass the spam filters the "Return-path" and "Sender" headers have to be attached to each email. What should I do in order to have "Return-path" and "Sender" headers added by Exim to be exactly the same as the "From" header created by my mail client ? Thanks

  Hi I'm trying to setup webmin+postfix+dovecot+roundcube, for this moment I want things be as simple as possible so I'm using linux users as email accounts. I can send/receive from the same domain, I mean [email protected] can send/receive to/from [email protected] I tested smtp/imap with outlook and says no problem. if I send a mail from gmail it reject with error of: Technical details of temporary failure: The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. when I login with roundcube the email address display in the right corner is something like user1@com and I get this error message from logs: [11-Nov-2012 07:39:03 +0400]: IMAP Error: Login failed for user1 from 187.150.xx.xx. Could not connect to com:143: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /var/www/webmail/program/include/rcube_imap.php on line 191 (POST /webmail/?_task=login&_action=login) it says Could not connect to com:143 looks like it cannot read the domain name. I used http://mxtoolbox.com/ to check the mx record and it says it can find the server of mail.mydomain.com. • Postfix send remotely for X account

  I setup Postfix a few days ago to deliver email bound for my host name remotely instead of locally as I want email sent to my remote [email protected] account without trying to be sent locally. However, this causes a problem as it tries to send local bound mail(root) to my remote server as well ([email protected]). I would like E-mail bound for [email protected] to be sent to the remote server(GMail Apps in this case) and everything else sent locally(using the alias file perhaps), is this possible?   Our exchange server has suddenly stopped serving mobile devices. Attempts to connect result in our ActiveSync server returning HTTP 500. It is serving outlook clients fine. Our server is Windows 2003 SBS 6.5 SP2 There are no abnormal events in the system log. I ran the "Exchange ActiveSync with AutoDiscover" at https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ I've notice an abnormality in the exchange properties, Log File Directory shows: Access denied. I also added MX record on the DNS (mail.mydomain.com) but still i can't connect to the pop3 server remotely using either mail.mydomain.com or even the server IP.

  I am having problems with the Postfix mail server being used for backscattering, I have tried the suggestions in the manual but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how we can reject any mail from entering the queue if the recipient doesn't match a local recipient rather than send bounce emails? I'm assuming it should be a fairly straight forward change in the configuration files. Just to note I am using Webmin/Virtualmin on the server.

  I have a client which has all his mail on server outside of his company. Right now his exchange server (on SBS 2008 is configured using POP3 connector but problem is mail gets deleted from server when downloaded by connector. Is there a way to make pop3 connector leave emails on server (external one) and download them as well for use within Exchange. Client wants to "feel" exchange before making the move totally so he would like to play with it for longer while without loosing mails he has on his server.

  An ISP doesn't offer secure/encrypted POP3/SMTP connections to its email servers. (I could forward the mail to another mail service that does, but I'd like to try a proxy) Is there some simple software that could be run on a linux box to allow secure SSL POP3/SMTP connections to it, and transparently proxy/connect to the ISP email servers? This is to allow wireless mobile devices more secure access their email without needing the full vpn.
