  Hello stackoverflowers, Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered, I've searched and found a few that look similar but I'm too much of a novice with SQL to adapt them to my needs. Also forgive me if I don't use the correct terminology, I know it can be annoying when someone asks a question and they don't even know enough to be able to ask for what they need. I'm helping a friend gather some data, and need to perform a query that results in a single row per record, but instead I get multiple rows. Here is an example of what I'm querying right now (simplified, hopefully not too much): SELECT * FROM `table_one` AS t1 INNER JOIN `table_two` AS t2 ON t1.id = t2.id INNER JOIN `table_three` AS t3 ON t1.id = t3.id WHERE 1 The result is: id text number 5 Subtotal 17 5 Tax 3 5 Total 20 What I need is to create a query that results in something more like this: id text number text number text number 5 subtotal 17 Tax 3 Total 20 Any assistance/guidance would be much appreciated.   I have a data set with N integers (say, 13, 16, 17, 20) where each next sample is incremented by some value (3, 1, 3 in this case) and I want to use boost::accumulators::accumulator_set to find various statistics of the second sequence. I want to be able to do something like this: accumulator_set< double, features< tag::mean > > acc; ... acc(13); acc(16); acc(17); acc(20); ...BUT sampling the differences instead of the actual values. How can I do that with accumulator_set without keeping track of the last value manually?

• Jagged Edge Arrays in PHP

  I want to store some data in (I guess a semi-2, semi-3d array) in PHP (5.3) What I need to do is store data about each floor like this: Floor Num of Spots Handicap Motorcyle Other 1 100 array(15,16,17) array (47,62) array (99,100) 2 100 array(15,16,17) array (47,62) array (99,100) and on The problem is, is if the Handicap+Motorcyle+Other were ints, I could just store the data in a 2d array. However, they aren't. So I was thinking I could make something almost like a 3D array, with the first two columns only being in 2D. The other thought I had was making a 2D array and for columns 3,4, and 5 instead of saving as array(15,16) //save like 1516 And then split at two digits (1 digit array numbers would be prefaced with a 0). However, I am wondering about the limit of the length of a string, because if I decide to move to a 3 digit length number in the array, like array(100, 104), and I need to store alot of numbers, I am thinking I am going to quickly exceed the max.

• How can I fix this NavigationController and UIToolbar offset issue in Objective-C?

  I'm adding a couple of buttons to an already-existing NavigationController. The two buttons are added to a UIView, which is pushed onto the NavigationItem. The buttons stop and reload a UIWebView. Problem is that there's a slight offset issue that is making it all look pretty ugly. I wish I could set the UIToolbar to transparent or clear background but that doesn't seem to be an option. Can't seem to use negative offsets either. I've got color matching, but if you look closely there's 1px or 2px of highlighting up top that's causing a visual mismatch and then a slight offset at the bottom. Some relevant code below (based on this, inbound Googlers).   I'm just digging a bit into Haskell and I started by trying to compute the Phi-Coefficient of two words in a text. However, I ran into some very strange behaviour that I cannot explain. After stripping everything down, I ended up with this code to reproduce the problem: let sumTup = (sumTuples°concat) frequencyLists let sumFixTup = (138, 136, 17, 204) putStrLn (show ((138, 136, 17, 204) == sumTup)) putStrLn (show (phi sumTup)) putStrLn (show (phi sumFixTup)) This outputs: True NaN 0.4574206676616167 So although the sumTupand sumFixTup show as equal, they behave differently when passed to phi. The definition of phi is: phi (a, b, c, d) = let dividend = fromIntegral(a * d - b * c) divisor = sqrt(fromIntegral((a + b) * (c + d) * (a + c) * (b + d))) in dividend / divisor

• Problem with Landscape and Portrait view in a TabBar Application

  I have an TabBar app that I would like to be in landscape and portrait. The issue is when I go to tab 2 make a selection from my table then select tab 1 and rotate the device, then select tab 2 again the content does not know that the device rotated and will not display my custom orientated content correctly. I am trying to write a priovate method that tells the view what orientation it is currently in. IN viewDidLoad I am assuming it is in portrait but in shouldAutoRotate I have it looking in the private method for the correct alignment of the content. Please Help!! • R: ca plotting text attributes

  Does anyone know of a way to control the font size/color/weight of the row and column names when plotting a correspondence plot with the ca package? The following code will produce a very nice looking chart, though if there were more attributes (very heavy, super heavy, something more than super heavy) or more classes of workers (peons, underlings, etc) then the graph will get a little cluttered and hard to tell what was what. It would be nice if you could list all the attributes in a separate color than the categories of workers. library(ca) data("smoke") plot(ca(smoke) , map = "symmetric" , what =c("active","active") , mass = c(T,T) , contrib = "absolute" , col = c("red","blue") , pch = c(15,17,15,17) , labels = c(2,2) , arrows = c(T,F) ) Alternatively, does anyone know if there is a way to reproduce something along these lines with ggplot2? • .NET Framework 3.5 wont install on VISTA 32bit

  Running VISTA 32bit. I am trying to install c# Visual Express 2008 - but it requires .NET 3.5. One of the prerequisites during the install is .NET 3.5 ... it attempts to install it but fails, with no real error message. So I downloaded .NET 3.5 standalone from MS website and tried that.Again it fails with the error [10/17/08,23:17:07] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0SP1 (CBS) is not installed. [10/17/08,23:50:55] Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0SP1 (CBS): [2] Error: Installation failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0SP1 (CBS). MSI returned error code 34 I currently have c# Express edition 2005 installed. But everything I read says that I can have these two applications installed together. I believe that 2005 runs Framework 2.0. 2005 express edition works fine. - its just the 2008 edition im having problems installed the .NET 3.5 with .... any ideas ? thanks
