  • Play RTSP/MMS/Http live video feeds in WPF

    - by James Cadd
    I'd like to pull a live video feed into WPF but the MediaElement doesn't appear to support these protocols. An example video stream is here (BP oil leak live feed): http://mfile.akamai.com/97892/live/reflector:45683.asx?bkup=45684 Are there any solutions for playing live streaming formats in WPF?

  • Formatted HTML as output from method invocation from JMX HTTP page

    - by Dutch
    Hi, Is there a way to return HTML from a method which gets called from the JMX HTTP page. I have a huge set of data and want to display the data with some formatting. The following code does not work: @ManagedOperation(description = "return html") @ManagedOperationParameters({@ManagedOperationParameter(name = "someVal", description = "text")}) public List returnAsHtml(String someVal) { return ""+someValblah"; } Looks like JMX escapes the returned script before throwing it to the browser.

  • How to make per- http Request cache in ASP.NET 3.5

    - by Artem
    We using ASP.NET 3.5 (Controls-based apporach) and need to have storage specific for one http request only. Thread-specific cache with keys from session id won't work because threads are supposed to be pooled and therefore I have a chance to have data from some previous request in cache, which is undesireble in my case. I always need to have brand new storage for each request available through whole request. Any ideas how to do it in ASP.NET 3.5?

  • iPhone HTTP Live Streaming not working on models below 3GS

    - by dreamer
    We are using http live streaming for on demand video from within our iPhone app and on the 3GS models the videos play as they are meant to. However, on the models pre 3GS it gives an error saying this movie format is not supported. I have seen other threads on this however no solutions or insights. Does anyone know if this really is a hardware limitation of the pre 3GS phones or does it have something to do with our code?

  • Java Http request on api.stackexchange with json response

    - by taoder
    I'm trying to use the api-stackexchange with java but when I do the request and try to parse the response with a json parser I have an error. public ArrayList<Question> readJsonStream(InputStream in) throws IOException { JsonReader reader = new JsonReader(new InputStreamReader(in, "UTF-8")); reader.setLenient(true); try { System.out.println(reader.nextString()); // ? special character return readItem(reader); } finally { reader.close(); } } public ArrayList<Question> readItem(JsonReader reader) throws IOException { ArrayList<Question> questions = new ArrayList<Question>(); reader.beginObject(); while (reader.hasNext()) { System.out.println("here");//not print the error is before String name = reader.nextName(); if (name.equals("items")) { questions = readQuestionsArray(reader); } } reader.endObject(); return questions; } public final static void main(String[] args) throws Exception { URIBuilder builder = new URIBuilder(); builder.setScheme("http").setHost("api.stackexchange.com").setPath("/2.0/search") .setParameter("site", "stackoverflow") .setParameter("intitle" ,"workaround") .setParameter("tagged","javascript"); URI uri = builder.build(); String surl = fixEncoding(uri.toString()+"&filter=!)QWRa9I-CAn0PqgUwq7)DVTM"); System.out.println(surl); Test t = new Test(); try { URL url = new URL(surl); t.readJsonStream(url.openStream()); } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } And the error is: com.google.gson.stream.MalformedJsonException: Expected literal value at line 1 column 19 Here is an example of the Json : { "items": [ { "question_id": 10842231, "score": 0, "title": "How to push oath token to LocalStorage or LocalSession and listen to the Storage Event? (SoundCloud Php/JS bug workaround)", "tags": [ "javascript", "javascript-events", "local-storage", "soundcloud" ], "answers": [ { "question_id": 10842231, "answer_id": 10857488, "score": 0, "is_accepted": false } ], "link": "http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10842231/how-to-push-oath-token-to-localstorage-or-localsession-and-listen-to-the-storage", "is_answered": false },... So what's the problem? Is the Json really malformed? Or did I do something not right? Thanks, Anthony

  • C++/CLI HTTP Proxy problems...

    - by darkantimatter
    Hi, I'm trying(very hard) to make a small HTTP Proxy server which I can use to save all communications to a file. Seeing as I dont really have any experience in the area, I used a class from codeproject.com and some associated code to get started (It was made in the old CLI syntax, so I converted it). I couldn't get it working, so I added lots more code to make it work (threads etc), and now it sort of works. Basically, it recieves something from a client (I just configured Mozilla Firefox to route its connections through this proxy) and then routes it to google.com. After it sends Mozilla's data to google, recieves a responce, and sends that to Mozilla. This works fine, but then the proxy fails to recieve any data from Mozilla. It just loops in the Sleep(50) section. Anyway, heres the code: ProxyTest.cpp: #include "stdafx.h" #include "windows.h" #include "CHTTPProxy.h" public ref class ClientThread { public: System::Net::Sockets::TcpClient ^ pClient; CHttpProxy ^ pProxy; System::Int32 ^ pRecieveBufferSize; System::Threading::Thread ^ Thread; ClientThread(System::Net::Sockets::TcpClient ^ sClient, CHttpProxy ^ sProxy, System::Int32 ^ sRecieveBufferSize) { pClient = sClient; pProxy = sProxy; pRecieveBufferSize = sRecieveBufferSize; }; void StartReading() { Thread = gcnew System::Threading::Thread(gcnew System::Threading::ThreadStart(this,&ClientThread::ThreadEntryPoint)); Thread->Start(); }; void ThreadEntryPoint() { char * bytess; bytess = new char[(int)pRecieveBufferSize]; memset(bytess, 0, (int)pRecieveBufferSize); array<unsigned char> ^ bytes = gcnew array<unsigned char>((int)pRecieveBufferSize); array<unsigned char> ^ sendbytes; do { if (pClient->GetStream()->DataAvailable) { try { do { Sleep(100); //Lets wait for whole packet to get cached (If it even does...) unsigned int k = pClient->GetStream()->Read(bytes, 0, (int)pRecieveBufferSize); //Read it for(unsigned int i=0; i<(int)pRecieveBufferSize; i++) bytess[i] = bytes[i]; Console::WriteLine("Packet Received:\n"+gcnew System::String(bytess)); pProxy->SendToServer(bytes,pClient->GetStream()); //Now send it to google! pClient->GetStream()->Flush(); } while(pClient->GetStream()->DataAvailable); } catch (Exception ^ e) { break; } } else { Sleep(50); //It just loops here because it thinks mozilla isnt sending anything if (!(pClient->Connected)) break; }; } while (pClient->GetStream()->CanRead); delete [] bytess; pClient->Close(); }; }; int main(array<System::String ^> ^args) { System::Collections::Generic::Stack<ClientThread ^> ^ Clients = gcnew System::Collections::Generic::Stack<ClientThread ^>(); System::Net::Sockets::TcpListener ^ pTcpListener = gcnew System::Net::Sockets::TcpListener(8080); pTcpListener->Start(); System::Net::Sockets::TcpClient ^ pTcpClient; while (1) { pTcpClient = pTcpListener->AcceptTcpClient(); //Wait for client ClientThread ^ Client = gcnew ClientThread(pTcpClient, gcnew CHttpProxy("www.google.com.au", 80), pTcpClient->ReceiveBufferSize); //Make a new object for this client Client->StartReading(); //Start the thread Clients->Push(Client); //Add it to the list }; pTcpListener->Stop(); return 0; } CHTTPProxy.h, from http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/howtoproxy.aspx with a lot of modifications: //THIS FILE IS FROM http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/howtoproxy.aspx. I DID NOT MAKE THIS! • How do I see the whole HTTP request in Rails

    - by akafazov
    Hi, I have a Rails application but after some time of development/debugging I realized that it would be very helpful to be able to see the whole HTTP request in the logfiles - log/development.log, not just the parameters. I also want to have a separate logfile based on user, not session. Any ideas will be appreciated! Angel

  • Handling multiple HTTP requests from one source (e.g.a hacker)

    - by Haraldo
    Hi there, I have a script to handle http requests. I'm trying to think of some of the security issues I might have with it. My biggest concern at the moment is how I can manage multiple requests from the same source over and over. For instance someone trying to shut down my system. Do I need to be concerned or will Apache handling this issue. If not what is the best approach to take using php? Thanks,

  • Jmeter- HTTP Cache Manager, Unable to cache everything what it is being cached by Browser

    - by chinmay brahma
    I used HTTP Chache Manager to Cache files which are being cached in browser. I am successful of doing it for some of the pages. Number of files being cached in Jmeter is equal to Number of files being cached by browser. But in some cases : I found number files being cached is lesser than the files being cached by browser. Using Jmeter I found only 5 files are being cached but in real browser 12 files are getting cached. Thanks in advance
