Cannot select/edit TineMCE-generated table

I'm currently using TinyMCE edit in my drupal-website, problem is that beneath the editor, some of the table is sticking out. If I remove the height set by javascript with firebug, it looks fine, even after resizing. So I want to remove the height with JS, I've put this function at the end of my page: $('table#edit-body_tbl').removeAttr('style'); However nothing happens. I test the function in firebug's console, it works perfectly. Basically, the problem is the JS works, but it wont do anything if I simply load it at the end of the page, even in the document.ready function. The TineMCE script is loaded before my script so I should be able to select/edit/delete elements generated by it no? Does anybody know why or how I can force the page to really load my function in the end(currently it is right in front of the -tag)? Other functions in the script work, except this thing ...

Dynamically call a stored procedure from another stored procedure

I want to be able to pass in the name of a stored procedure as a string into another stored procedure and have it called with dynamic parameters. I'm getting an error though. Specifically I've tried: create procedure test @var1 varchar(255), @var2 varchar(255) as select 1 create procedure call_it @proc_name varchar(255) as declare @sp_str varchar(255) set @sp_str = @proc_name + ' ''a'',''b''' print @sp_str exec @sp_str exec call_it 'test' So procedure call_it should call procedure test with arguments 'a', and 'b'. When I run the above code I get: Msg 2812, Level 16, State 62, Procedure call_it, Line 6 Could not find stored procedure 'test 'a','b''. However, running test 'a','b' works fine.

groovy call private method in Java super class

I have an abstract Java class MyAbstractClass with a private method. There is a concrete implementation MyConcreteClass. public class MyAbstractClass { private void somePrivateMethod(); } public class MyConcreteClass extends MyAbstractClass { // implementation details } In my groovy test class I have class MyAbstractClassTest { void myTestMethod() { MyAbstractClass mac = new MyConcreteClass() mac.somePrivateMethod() } } I get an error that there is no such method signature for somePrivateMethod. I know groovy can call private methods but I'm guessing the problem is that the private method is in the super class, not MyConcreteClass. Is there a way to invoke a private method in the super class like this (other than using something like PrivateAccessor)? thanks Jeff

YAHOO.keycoes.myDatatable = myDatatable; ... myDatatable.subscribe("rowClickEvent", oneventclickrow); var oneventclickrow = function( args ) { ... } I'd like to invoke the function subscribed to rowClickEvent on the row which is currently highlighted in the datatable (the row which was clicked for the last time). I've tried to do something like this: YAHOO.keycoes.myDatatable.getSelectedRows()[0].rowClickEvent() but getSelectedRows() doesn't return any row. How can I get the highlighted row in the datatable and then call the function associated with rowClickEvent? Thanks

I have a script which creates a drag-and-drop uploader on the page from a div. My DIV will look something like <div class="well uploader" data-type="image" data-callback="product.addimage" data-multi="1"></div> Then I'll have a function something like var product = new function(){ /* Some random stuff */ this.addimage = function(image){ alert('W00T! I HAZ AN IMAGE!'); } /* More random stuff */ } When the upload is complete, I need to call the function in data-callback (In this example, product.addimage). I know with global functions you can just do window[callback]() but I'm not sure the best way to do this with functions under objects. My first thought was to do something like* var obj = window; var parts = callback.split('.'); for(part in parts){ obj = obj[parts[part]]; } obj(); but that seems a bit dirty, is there a better way without using eval because eval is evil? I haven't tested this so I have no idea if it will work

Hi All, I'm trying to call a function in JavaScript via Java. This works fine when directly reading a script as a string but I'm using CompiledScripts. When I do this with a compiled script it gives me method not found if I also add bindings. Without bindings it works but of course the function fails because it needs the bindings. Any ideas? When i use openquery i can overcome this by setting this: SET FMTONLY OFF. Does anyone know if there's a similar workaround for my problem?

Help needed with Javascript Variable Scope / OOP and Call Back Functions

I think this issue goes beyond typical variable scope and closure stuff, or maybe I'm an idiot. Here goes anyway... I'm creating a bunch of objects on the fly in a jQuery plugin. The object look something like this function WedgePath(canvas){ this.targetCanvas = canvas; this.label; this.logLabel = function(){ console.log(this.label) } } the jQuery plugin looks something like this (function($) { $.fn.myPlugin = function() { return $(this).each(function() { // Create Wedge Objects for(var i = 1; i <= 30; i++){ var newWedge = new WedgePath(canvas); newWedge.label = "my_wedge_"+i; globalFunction(i, newWedge]); } }); } })(jQuery); So... the plugin creates a bunch of wedgeObjects, then calls 'globalFunction' for each one, passing in the latest WedgePath instance. Global function looks like this. function globalFunction(indicator_id, pWedge){ var targetWedge = pWedge; targetWedge.logLabel(); } What happens next is that the console logs each wedges label correctly. However, I need a bit more complexity inside globalFunction. So it actually looks like this... function globalFunction(indicator_id, pWedge){ var targetWedge = pWedge; someSql = "SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE id = ?"; dbInterface.executeSql(someSql, [indicator_id], function(transaction, result){ targetWedge.logLabel(); }) } There's a lot going on here so i'll explain. I'm using client side database storage (WebSQL i call it). 'dbInterface' an instance of a simple javascript object I created which handles the basics of interacting with a client side database [shown at the end of this question]. the executeSql method takes up to 4 arguments The SQL String an optional arguments array an optional onSuccess handler an optional onError handler (not used in this example) What I need to happen is: When the WebSQL query has completed, it takes some of that data and manipulates some attribute of a particular wedge. But, when I call 'logLabel' on an instance of WedgePath inside the onSuccess handler, I get the label of the very last instance of WedgePath that was created way back in the plugin code. Now I suspect that the problem lies in the var newWedge = new WedgePath(canvas); line. So I tried pushing each newWedge into an array, which I thought would prevent that line from replacing or overwriting the WedgePath instance at every iteration... wedgeArray = []; // Inside the plugin... for(var i = 1; i <= 30; i++){ var newWedge = new WedgePath(canvas); newWedge.label = "my_wedge_"+i; wedgeArray.push(newWedge); } for(var i = 0; i < wedgeArray.length; i++){ wedgeArray[i].logLabel() } But again, I get the last instance of WedgePath to be created. This is driving me nuts. I apologise for the length of the question but I wanted to be as clear as possible. UITableView via NSFetchedResultsControllerDelegate, select first record by default?

I have a UITableView that gets populated from CoreData via a controller that implements NSFetchedResultsControllerDelegate. How can I have it automatically select the first row (and fire the tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath message)? The tableview is used for a variety of predicate queries, so I'm suspicious of solutions that work on the UIViewController lifecycle (viewDidLoad, etc), but I'm new to the platform, so I'm open. I've tried a variety of things, but I'm not sure where in the call stack to put it. I've tried calling cell.selected = true inside tableView:cellForRowAtIndex: method, but that just ends up turning the cell black (and doesn't fire the selected callback method) A tagent question, with all the delegating and core data protocols, does it imply asynchronous data fetch (multiple threads)? Or is the NSFetchedResultsController calling all its related methods in the same thread? Maybe I'm just scared that if it is async, there would be race conditions that would be tough to troubleshoot later.

Sending elements of an array as arguments to a method call

I have a method that accepts the splat operator: def hello(foo, *bar) #... do some stuff end I have an array with a variable length that I'd like to send into this hello method: arr1 = ['baz', 'stuff'] arr2 = ['ding', 'dong', 'dang'] I'd like to call the method with arr1 and arr2 as arguments to that method but I keep getting hung up in that *bar is being interpreted as an array instead of individual arguments. To make things more fun, I can't change the hello method at all. I'm looking for something similar to this SO question but in ruby.

Using * in SELECT Query

I am currently porting an application written in MySQL3 and PHP4 to MySQL5 and PHP5. On analysis I found several SQL queries which uses "select * from tablename" even if only one column(field) is processed in PHP. The table has almost 60 columns and it has a primary key. In most cases, the only column used is id which is the primary key. Will there be any performance boost if I use queries in which the column names are explicitly mentioned instead of * ? (In this application there is only one method which we need all the columns and all other methods return only a subset of the columns)

Finding the actual runtime call tree of a Java Program

Suppose I have a big program that consists of hundreds of methods in it. And according to the nature of input the program flow is getting changed. Think I want to make a change to the original flow. And it is big hassle to find call hierarchy/ references and understand the flow. Do I have any solution for this within Eclipse? Or a plugin? As an example, I just need a Log of method names that is in order of time. Then I don't need to worry about the methods that are not relevant with my "given input" Update : Using debug mode in eclipse or adding print messages are not feasible. The program is sooooo big. :)

Greeting People,, I'm trying to retrieve records from table by knowing the date in column contains date and time. let me explain my self clearly with this example: suppose i have table called t1 which contains only two column name, date respectively the data stored in column date like this "8/3/2010 12:34:20 PM" i want to retrieve this record by this query for example: Select * from t1 where date="8/3/2010" // notes i don't put the time. this query give me nothing ! SO now my question is how can i retrieve date by knowing only date without the time !

Chain call in clojure?

I'm trying to implement sieve of Eratosthenes in Clojure. One approach I would like to test is this: Get range (2 3 4 5 6 ... N) For 2 <= i <= N Pass my range through filter that removes multiplies of i For i+1th iteration, use result of the previous filtering I know I could do it with loop/recur, but this is causing stack overflow errors (for some reason tail call optimization is not applied). How can I do it iteratively? I mean invoking N calls to the same routine, passing result of ith iteration to i+1th.
