  I understand that setting the maximum number of connections available in a connection pool should be the same as your maxThreads configured for your Tomcat server (which correlates to the number of requests that can be handled) For tomcat the default is 200, I assume there is a maximum that you can safely configure for your Tomcat server before things start getting out of control, which I assume is also governed by the resources of the machine it is running on. I am trying to get an understanding of the size of maxThreads that people are using with success, is 1000 too big?

  If I mistype a URL, Chrome sometimes redirects me to a search. For instance, typing "example_url_i_sometimes_mistype.conm" into the location bar gets me: Your search - example_url_i_sometimes_mistype.conm - did not match any documents. Not only is this annoying, but if the mistyped URL was one on private DNS, I've now just told Google that the domain exists. (A small concern, but bad in principle.) Can I configure Chrome to just show an error and not blab to Google Search about it?

  Is there a possibility to redirect all traffic to specified hosts behind NAT? For example i have a server, a domain "mydomain.com" and 3 hosts behind NAT. I wish to configure 3 subdomains: host1.mydomain.com host2.mydomain.com host2.mydomain.com and each of them to redirect all ports to specified host in local net. That redirection should provide funcionality like this: http://host1.mydomain.com (can be achieved using apache) ssh [email protected] (???) and other protocols on diferent ports Thanks for any help.

Port 21 tcp + udp, port 22 tcp + udp and the whole FTP-Server Application is set as go trouhgt, but don't work. Of course, the FTP ruins on 21. Any ideas

  (i use ubuntu 10.04 64bit) i cant get most of my fn keys to work in this laptop. i especially need fn+f8, which switches between trackpoint & touchpad. what i tried: sudo nano /etc/modules (added lenovo-sl-laptop to the file) then: sudo modprobe lenovo-sl-laptop this failed: FATAL: Module lenovo_sl_laptop not found. as for the hdapsd i dont have it installed, since i dont know how to configure it (i guess it helps hdd protection).

  Is there a way to configure Internet Explorer's "Open links from other programs in:" option per program? I'm looking for a way to allow different programs to act differently when clicking hyperlinks. For example, if I click a hyperlink in Microsoft Outlook I'd prefer it to open a new tab in the current window (option 2) but if I click a link out of an instant messenger program I'd prefer it to open in the current tab or window (option 3). I've configured my webservers at *.example.com to handle requests from the other domains and redirect them correctly to example.com, but I'd rather not re-configure all my DNS records at example.org and example.net to be the same as example.com. Other than writing some ugly synchronization script, what should I do to have route53 answer queries against my "other" domains with the same data from the "main" domain?
