• Zend file upload error

  I am attempting to upload a file using Zend Framework 1.8 and I get some errors. Here is the code snippet: The form element: $element = new Zend_Form_Element_File('doc'); $element->setLabel('Upload an image:') ->setDestination('/path/to/my/upload/folder'); $element->addValidator('Count', false, 1); $element->addValidator('Size', false, 102400); $element->addValidator('Extension', false, 'jpg,png,gif,doc,docx,xls,xlsx,txt'); $this->addElement($element); The code for handling the upload: $adapter = new Zend_File_Transfer_Adapter_Http(); if (!$adapter->receive()) { $messages = $adapter->getMessages(); echo implode("\n", $messages); } This works fine and the file is uploaded but I get the error "The file 'doc' was illegal uploaded, possible attack". I managed to get past this problem by not creating a new Zend_File_Transfer_Adapter_Http() but instead using: $adapter = $form->doc->getTransferAdapter(); With this modification, the first error disappears but now I have an error saying I have provided 2 files instead of one (probably its reading the temp) and when I adjust the validator to accept two files I then get the arror saying "The file 'doc' was not found" and the upload now fails completely. Please help

• How to disable multiple touches on a ScrollView and UIImage

  I have a scrollview that I am loading images into that the user can touch and play a sound. However, the program is getting confused when I press one image with one finger and then another one with a different finger. It thinks you are pushing the same button again and therefore plays the sound again (so you have two of the same sounds playing at the same time even though you may have pressed a different sound button). I tried setting exclusiveTouch for each UIImage but that didn't seem to work in this case for some reason. What am I missing or is there a better way to do this?   I use s3fs 1.33 on Ubuntu 9.10. • All my folders and files on my flash drive have been renamed automatically and I can no longer open them... I need those files

  I opened up my flash drive this morning and all of my folders and files are normal, except for one folder and all its included files, which is the most important folder. The subfolders and files are renamed with bizarre characters and when I click to open them, a pop-up appears saying it's not accessible and the filename or directory name is incorrect. I don't want to reformat the flash drive because I'd lose all those files. Is there a way for me to restore it or something? I would attach a screen shot, but apparently new users do not have that privilege. If you have a vague idea of what I'm talking about, let me know and I can email you screenshots so you can have a better understanding. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  It all started with a simple alias gv='gvim --remote-quiet' and now gv Space Tab gives nothing where it normally should give filenames. Oddly, alias gvi='gvim --remote-quiet' works as expected. • SQL Server 2005 Agent running SSIS job can't find file path

  Basically I'm trying to run a functioning SSIS job (created in BIDS) under the SQL Server Agent - it reads a set of Excel spreadsheets and dumps the results into a table. The problem I'm having is getting the SSA to read the file path, the relevant part of the error is: "0x80004005 Description: "'N:\Assets Property & Facilities Management\Monthly Absence.xls' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides." I've tried using UNC paths (\servername\ share) but the BIDS rewrites the paths to standard file paths (c:\directory\filename), I've also tried a proxy which runs this step under an Admin account. I've also tried changing the path to UNC on the SSIS job on the server. Also I'm forcing it to use the 32 bit DTEXEC, so it's not that either Always get the same error, do I need to re-create the job from scratch?

  The bib.style part may be the problem. If I do not reference to references, do they show up? I have listed all errors below, the file compiles so I don't know whether they are related to partially-showing-up-references. For example, work with many authors gets only one author listed. But only one problem it doesn't allow for resume. I took the original code called it fetch.aspx and pass an orderNUM through the URL. fetch.aspx&ordernum=xxxxxxx It then reads the filename/location from the database occording to the ordernumber, and chunks it out from a secured location NOT under the webroot. I need a way to make this resumable, by the nature of the internet and large files people always get disconnected and would like to resume where they left off. But any resumable articles i've read, assume the file is within the webroot.. ie. http://www.devx.com/dotnet/Article/22533/1954 Great article and works well, but I need to stream from a secured location. I'm not a .NET coder at all, at best i can do a bit of coldfusion, if anyone could help me modify a handler to do this, i would really appreciate it. Requirements: I Have a working fetch.aspx script that functions well and uses the above code snippet as a base for the streamed downloading. Download files are large 600MB and are stored in a secured location outside of the webroot. Users click on the fetch.aspx to start the download, and would therefore be clicking it again if it was to fail. If the ext is a .ASPX and the file being sent is a AVI, clicking on it would completely bypass an IHTTP handler mapped to .AVI ext, so this confuses me From what I understand the browser will read and match etag value and file modified date to determine they are talking about the same file, then a subsequent accept-range is exchanged between the browser and IIS. Since this dialog happens with IIS, we need to use a handler to intercept and respond accordingly, but clicking on the link would send it to an ASPX file which the handeler needs to be on an AVI fiel.. Also confusing me. If there is a way to request the initial HTTP request header containing etag, accept-range into the normal .ASPX file, i could read those values and if the accept-range and etag exist, start chunking at that byte value somehow? but I couldn't find a way to transfer the http request headers since they seem to get lost at the IIS level. OrderNum which is passed in the URL string is unique and could be used as the ETag Response.AddHeader("ETag", request("ordernum")) Files need to be resumable and chunked out due to size. File extensions are .AVI so a handler could be written around it. IIS 6.0 Web Server Any help would really be appreciated, i've been reading and reading and downloading code, but none of the examples given meet my situation with the original file being streamed from outside of the webroot. Please help me get a handle on these httphandlers :)

  I googled over this topic but couldn't find what I was looking for... the following "happend" to me: I had my files stored on a NTFS-USB Harddisk, because of space problems I moved them to an ext3 system....somehow the filename (content is still ok as far as I saw) encoding screwed up....my files look like the following now: Kküken <--- should have an "ü" Jäger <--- should be an "ä" Zwölf <--- should be an "ö" fünfte <-- should be an "ü" etc .... These are just examples, but already give me my first question Why has the "ü" two different representations? (Maybe I screw up, before I screw up and now I have a mixing of x different encoding-layers? :) ) I tried the following command: convmv -r -f UTF-8 -t ISO-8859-1 * This command work for some files (for example Zwölf) but not for all: iso-8859-1 doesn't cover all needed characters for: "fünfte" So Iguess it must be another encoding - but which? How can I find out this? And is there any way that I can still fix all of this?

We will be generating file ids using a GUID - I need to keep a copy of these files on a linux web server. I plan on using subdirectories to split up the files (it's ext3)... so for example, the filename 055c102b-62fb-4671-a3c7-68b9515ec53e.swf would live in /data/files/0/5/5/055c102b-62fb-4671-a3c7-68b9515ec53e.swf (taking the first 3 characters as directory names) My question is - how to create the /data/files/?/?/?/ directories ahead of time? Where ? could be a-z or 0-9

• Tool to maintain/keep track of filesystem content integrity?

  I'm looking for a tool to maintain the integrity of a filesystem and it's contents using checksums. Effectively storing a list of checksums/filename pairs somewhere on the filesystem in a way that can be verified later if files are somehow damaged or lost. Git does what I want, but because it stores the contents of every file in it's object database, the disk usage will at least double. And the fact that it does not provide a progress bar when scanning files tells me it was not designed for the multi-terabyte filesystem I have in mind. I can do this crudely by storing the output of md5deep, but is there a tool specifically designed for this purpose, using whatever smarts possible to make the process efficient?

  I have an Outlook id. I also have Skydrive installed on my personal laptop (Windows 7 x64). The folders and files synchronize successfully. Today, I installed Skydrive on my office PC and logged in with the same id as above but it does not synchronize any of my folders or files, other than the default ones. • What is wrong with my Basic Authentication in my Browser?

  Hi folks, i'm trying to goto the following url :- http://user1:pass1@localhost:1234/api/users?format=xml nothing to complex. Notice how i've got the username/password in the url? this, i believe, is for basic authentication. When I do that, the Request Headers are MISSING the 'Authorize' header. Er... that's not right :( I have anonymous authentication only setup on the site. I don't want to have anon off and basic turned on .. because not all of the site requires basic.. only a few action methods. So .. why is this not working? Is this something to do with the fact my code is not sending a 401 challenge or some crap? For What It's Worth, my site is ASP.NET MVC1 running on IIS7 (and the same thing happens when i run it on cassini). Update: If this is an illegal way of calling a resource using basic auth (ala security flaw) .. then is this possible to do, for an ASP.NET MVC website .. per action method (and not the entire site, per say)?

  I am using VSTO to create an Excel add-in. My plan is to persist objects inside of excel workbooks by serializing them to strings and assigning those strings to be the values of names in the workbook. However, when I call the API function to add the new name, I get a mysterious exception from the COM library. If I moved the .forward file to another filename, can I use it in procmail to send an email to the users in this file?

• 403 Forbidden when trying to download file that was uploaded using SSH

  I have FTP access to an Apache server on linux to upload files so that they can be downloadable from the web. I recently was granted SSH access for extra permissions and figured that it would be quicker to download the files directly to the server, instead of downloading them to my machine then FTPing to the server. When I downloaded a file using SSH to the server, and then placed it in the public_html directory, it was not visible from the web. The permissions (from SSH and the FTP client) were the same as all the other files that are visible, but it was not visible in the directory listing, and if I tried to type in the filename into my browser I would get a 403 error. Obviously, when I FTP a file to the server something else happens that makes it web visible, that I am not currently privy to. What am I missing that is causing the file to be invisible from the web?

  I get an exception (see below) if I try to do resultset.getString("add_date"); for a JDBC connection to a MySQL database containing a DATETIME value of 0000-00-00 00:00:00 (the quasi-null value for DATETIME), even though I'm just trying to get the value as string, not as an object. I got around this by doing SELECT CAST(add_date AS CHAR) as add_date which works, but seems silly... is there a better way to do this? My point is that I just want the raw DATETIME string, so I can parse it myself as is. note: here's where the 0000 comes in: (from http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/datetime.html) Illegal DATETIME, DATE, or TIMESTAMP values are converted to the “zero” value of the appropriate type ('0000-00-00 00:00:00' or '0000-00-00'). • Bacula not backing up all the files it should be doing

  I have Bacula (5.2) running on a Fedora 14 system backing up several different computers including Windows 7, Windows 2003 and Windows 2008. When backing up the Windows 2008 server the backup stops after a relatively small amount has been backed up and says the backup was okay. The fileset I am trying to backup should be around 323Gb, but it manages a mere 27Gb before stopping - but not erring. I did try creating a mount on the Fedora computer to the server I am trying to backup, and Bacula managed to copy 58Gb. When I tried to use the mount to copy the files manually I was able to copy them all - there are no problems with permissions etc. on the mount. Please can anyone give a reason why Bacula would just stop? I have heard there is a 260 character limit, but some of the files that should have been copy resolve to a shorter filename than some that have been backed up.
