  • SFTP Libraries for .NET

    Can anyone recommend a good SFTP library to use? Right now I'm looking at products such as SecureBlackbox, IPWorks SSH, WodSFTP, and Rebex SFTP. However, I have never used any SFTP library before so I'm not sure what I'm looking for. If anyone has used these before, is there any reason why I should go with product "X" over "Y"? Thanks!

  • SWIG-Lua question on class returning another class

    I am concreting a question I had earlier. I have two classes in C++ and I use SWIG to wrap them. A method in one class can return a pointer to the other class. How can I get Lua to see it as more than just a userdata? More concretely: I have class fruit { int numberofseeds; //some other stuff about fruit constructors etc... public: getseedcount() { return numberofseeds; } } class tree { fruit * apple; public: //constructors and whatnot fruit * getfruit() { return apple; } } I wrap these two class with SWIG so I can access them in Lua So I can get in Lua the object x=pomona.tree(grannysmith). My question now is: How can I arrange for things so that when I type y=x:getfruit() I will get a pomona:fruit type object? Where I can write something line y:getseedcount()? At the moment all I get is userdata which not edible.

    Hi all, I have around 8000 xml files that needs to be converted into text files. The text file must contain title, description and keywords of the xml file without the tags and removing other elements and attributes as well. In other words, i need to create 8000 text files containing the title,description and keywords of the xml file. I need codings for this to be done systematically.   • Visual C++: breakpoints disabled

    I have a 'release with debug info' unmanaged c++ .exe (built with VS2005) deployed onto another PC, the .exe and .pdb are in the same folder. When I try to attach to the process from VS2005, either locally or remotely from my dev PC, all my breakpoints become disabled. I don't get any warning/error popups which makes me think the PDB file is being found, but not seen as 'good'. Is that the right interpretation? I think if it couldn't see the PDB I'd get a "no debug information could be found" popup. Has anyone got any ideas what can be wrong?

    Hi I have a un-ordered (ul) html list. Each li item has 1 or more classes attached to it. I want to go through this ul list and get all the (distinct) classes. Then from this list create a list of checkboxes who's value matches that of the class and also who's label matches that of the class. One checkbox for each class. What is the best way to do this using JQuery? Thanks

  • Boost Filesystem Library Visual C++ Compile Error

    I'm having the following issue just trying to compile/run some of the example programs with the Boost Filesystem Library. I'm using MS-Visual C++ with Visual Studio .NET (2003). I've installed the Boost libraries, version 1.38 and 1.39 (just in case there was a version problem) using the BoostPro installers. If I just try to include /boost/filesystem/operations.hpp I receive the following error: \boost_1_38\boost\system\error_code.hpp(230) : error C2039: 'type' : is not a member of 'boost::enable_if<boost::system::is_error_condition_enum<Cond,boost::detail::enable_if_default_T>' Any help is greatly appreciated.   • Reading and decoding PDF-417 barcodes stored in an image or PDF file from within a .NET application

    I am looking for a .NET library that is able to decode data from a PDF-417 barcode that is embedded either in an image file or PDF. At this point, I have only been able to find a Java version and a C version. Ideally, this library would be both open-source and free of charge, but I doubt such a decoder exists. I am open to trying out demos of existing products that you may have had experience with - which leads me to the question - have you had any experience reading PDF-417 barcodes embedded in images or PDFs using .NET, and which of the available products would you recommend to do so?

I want to build up statistics on which features people use and how they use them, so that I can measure the value of features I'm implementing.   • Need to tab out of ActiveX control in browser

    When tabbing through controls in an ActiveX control hosted in IE, once I get to the last control the tab key no longer does anything. I would like it to move the focus outside the ActiveX control to the next html control. This works fine when the ActiveX control is hosted in a WinForms app, does anybody know how to make this work in the browser? It may also be relevant that the ActiveX control is a simple wrapper around a WPF control.

    I have made a function to slidedown different div's by clicking different links. Following is basic code. However, there's a little problem that, for example, if i click on first link, it slides down div. Now If i click on next link, it keeps the first div, and slides down the second div. However I want to do it so that, if there is any div slided down, and I click on any link, it should slide up the previous div and slide down the newer one. I will appriciate your help in this regard. How can I make it run?

It depends on how threads are created/cached, I think. How does the VC++ 2008 implementation work? And is the 2010 implementation significantly different in terms of features and performance/flexibility?

If I create a helper object that is not a Cmdlet but will be called by Cmdlets, the helper methods may want to call WriteVerbose, WriteDebug etc. What's the best way to get access to that? Is there a static PowerShell method that will return the current Cmdlet or do I need to have the Cmdlet pass itself to the helper?

  • Ruby string encoding problem

    I've looked at the other ruby/encoding related posts but haven't been able to figure out why the following is not working. Likely just because I'm dense, but here's the situation. Using Ruby 1.9 on windows. I have a set of CSV files that need some data appended to the end of each line. Whenever I run my script, the appended characters are gibberish. The input text appears to be IBM437 encoding, whereas my string I'm appending starts as US-ASCII. Nothing I've tried with respect to forcing encoding on the input strings or the append string seems to change the resultant output. I'm stumped.     I did following: create or replace type my_row as object ( lname varchar2(30), fname varchar2(30), MI char(1), hohSSN char (9), hohname VARCHAR2(63), hohDob char(10), dob DATE ); create or replace type eiv.my_rec as table of eiv.my_row; but then doing query like: my_records my_rec select '', '', '', '', '', '', sysdate bulk collect into my_records from dual; gives error ORA-00947: not enough values what can i be doing wrong here?

  • MySQL developer here -- Nesting with select * finicky in Oracle 10g?

    I'm writing a simple diagnostic query then attempting to execute it in the Oracle 10g SQL Scratchpad. EDIT: It will not be used in code. I'm nesting a simple "Select *" and it's giving me errors. In the SQL Scratchpad for Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager Console, this statement runs fine. SELECT * FROM v$session sess, v$sql sql WHERE sql.sql_id(+) = sess.sql_id and sql.sql_text <> ' ' If I try to wrap that up in Select * from () tb2 I get an error, "ORA-00918: Column Ambiguously Defined". I didn't think that could ever happen with this kind of statement so I am a bit confused. select * from (SELECT * FROM v$session sess, v$sql sql WHERE sql.sql_id(+) = sess.sql_id and sql.sql_text <> ' ') tb2 You should always be able to select * from the result set of another select * statement using this structure as far as I'm aware... right? Is Oracle/10g/the scratchpad trying to force me to accept a certain syntactic structure to prevent excessive nesting? Is this a bug in scratchpad or something about how oracle works?
