  • Is there a way to remove the source domain from the window title in an out-of-browser Silverlight 3

    We may not have the option to migrate over to Silverlight 4 right away, so I was wondering if anyone found a way to remove the source domain name from the window's title for out-of-browser Silverlight 3 applications. Our window title currently looks like this: "My App - localhost." Under Mac, I found the Info.plist file in the application bundle and found where you can set the Bundle name property as well as TrimmedSourceDomain. Unfortunately, when I clear the TrimmedSourceDomain property, the title looks like "My App -," and if I delete the property entirely, the application doesn't launch. I assume similar problems would occur under Windows. Have any of you found a workaround?

  • How can I remove sensitive data from the debug_backtrace function?

    I am using print_r(debug_backtrace(), true) to retrieve a string representation of the debug backtrace. This works fine, as print_r handles recursion. When I tried to recursively iterate through the debug_backtrace() return array before turning it into a string it ran into recursion and never ended. Is there some simple way I can remove certain sensitive key/value pairs from the backtrace array? Perhaps some way to turn the array to a string using print_r, then back to an array with the recursive locations changed to the string RECURSION, which I could the iterate through. I don't want to execute regular expressions on the string representation if possible.

    I want to display text in a Silverlight application so that the user can copy and paste it elsewhere (as one is used to doing on an HTML web site). If I use TextBlock, then the user cannot cut and paste. Therefore I use TextBox, but it has a default border on it. I can remove the border with BorderThickness="0" like this: <TextBox Grid.Column="1" BorderThickness="0" Text="{Binding ViewModelBindingStringsBlockHelp}"/> which works great: However, when the user hovers over the text box to select the text, another border appears: I've found purported solutions but they seem to require pages of XAML.   • Do I have to remove VS 2010 beta1 in order to get a web app to work on asp.net 2.0?

    I think the title is enough :). I have VS 2010 beta1 installed, and I wish to run an asp.net mvc application on my local IIS. The problem is, the asp.net 4.0 runtime is selected by default for all the web sites, when I try to change it to asp.net 2.0, I get the following error message: I click yes, then ok, and when I get back to the ASP.NET tab of my site's properties, I see the 4.0 version is selected back again! Do I have to remove VS 2010 in order to get this to work? (hopefully not) Ps: I'm using windows XP and IIS 5.1

  • AnkhSVN - How to remove old URLs from list of URLs in the "Open from Subversion" dialog box

    I work for a small company and am the sole developer using AnkhSVN to version my code. For the server side I am using VisualSVN v2.5.8. The server is installed on my own machine (on a different drive). I have a few repositories that I created about two years ago that have been working fine. We recently completed an Active Directory Domain Rename (that's another story) so the FQDN of my machine changed so the domain portion is no longer the same as what it was when the server portion was installed. I managed to get AnkhSVN to connect to the repositories so everything is working again but the URL list that comes up on the "Open from Subversion" dialog box still has all the old URLs. How can I remove them? I've searched everywhere I can think of looking for this list but can't seem to find it anywhere. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Chuck R.

    Hello! I've added an observer in a custom UIView I've created under initWithFrame:. [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector(updateZipFromLocation:) name:@"zipFoundFromLocation" object:nil]; The problem is, this view is a subview. When the view is loaded again, it calls the initWithFrame message again, thus adding two observers and so on. How can I remove the observer when the view is going to disappear? Since it is a UIView, it says that viewWillDisappear:(BOOL)animated is not a valid method. Any ideas?

    I happened across this page full of super useful and rather cryptic vim tips at http://rayninfo.co.uk/vimtips.html. I've tried a few of these and I understand what is happening enough to be able to parse it correctly in my head so that I can possibly recreate it later. One I'm having a hard time getting my head wrapped around though are the following two commands to remove all spaces from the end of every line :%s= *$== : delete end of line blanks :%s= \+$== : Same thing I'm interpreting %s as string replacement on every line in the file, but after that I am getting lost in what looks like some gnarly variation of :s and regex. I'm used to seeing and using :s/regex/replacement. But the above is super confusing. What do those above commands mean in english, step by step?

    I have the following string: "h3. My Title Goes Here" I basically want to remove the first 4 characters from the string so that I just get back: "My Title Goes Here". The thing is I am iterating over an array of strings and not all have the h3. part in front so I can't just ditch the first 4 characters blindly. I have checked the docs and the closest think I could find was chomp, but that only works for the end of a string. Right now I am doing this: "h3. My Title Goes Here".reverse.chomp(" .3h").reverse This gives me my desired output, but there has to be a better way right? I mean I don't want to reverse a string twice for no reason. I am new to programming so I might have missed something obvious, but I didn't see the opposite of chomp anywhere in the docs. Is there another method that will work? Thanks!

    do you know whether the app file will be sync from dmgr side and regenerated after we remove it from installedApps path? i've got one issue recently from customer. That is, they uploaded one image file into WASNode installedApps app path manually. Afterwards, they removed that file manually again from installedApps app path. But after restarting the Application server process, that file has been regenerated under same installedApps path. So i suspect that file maybe has been resync from dmgr node, like app file under applications folder. However, first of all, i don't see that image file within application ear file from DMGR applications folder. Moreover, i made a test myself, if i deleted file from installedApps app path, that file never be regenerated any more even though the node sync completed. So does anybody know why? Those values can have single, double, and triple digits. The next step would be to strip STEAM_0:1:20130600 and STEAM_0:1:55386073 out of the string and capture it in a new variable. The only constant is STEAM_0: the rest can change. I am still learning regex but I fear this is a bit complicated for me to do. Some guidance would be most appreciative.
