• Sometimes big delay when using PHP mail()

  I have a website which processes orders from a Windows application. This works as follows: User clicks "Order now" in the windows app App uploads a file with POST to a PHP script The script immediately calls the PHP mail() function (order is not stored in a db) This works fine most of the time. However, sometimes a big delay occurs (several days). Customers calls why the product has not yet been delivered. They say the delay does not occur in their network (impossible). But they do confirm that the e-mail is first seen in their mail server on May 26, which is 7 days after the mail has been composed. The order is marked with the timestamp of the user's local PC, which also matches May 19 (so it's not a PC clock problem) It's also interesting to see that all delayed mails (orders were placed on different days) come in at once. So I suddenly receive 14 e-mail in my mailbox from various days. Any idea were this delay may be introduced? Could there be a bug in my PHP code that causes this? (I cannot believe I can introduce a loop of 7 days in my PHP code)

• How do I get rid of auto-generated line breaks by Blogger from plain-text emails?

  I'm trying to use plain-text emails to submit posts to my blog that's hosted on Blogger. I've set my email client to use plain-text but every time I send a post, Blogger hard wraps it instead of letting the text just flow. I've tried this with different mail clients and gotten the same results. I'm 100% sure that I'm sending plain text each time. Does anyone know how to get Blogger to quit doing this? Sigh. Maybe I'll switch to Wordpress...

• Access - Force Form Refresh on New Record

  Let me set the stage here a bit: I have an Access project with various buttons, triggers, macros, etc. I needed an Appointment Date field to only show when the button APPOINTMENT MADE is toggled ON. This works great. The problem arises when you submit a form with the APPOINTMENT MADE toggled. Once the record is inserted, the Access file clears all fields, but leaves the Appointment Date enabled, when it should be disabled by default. I have tried the Current, Load, Before Insert, After Insert and many other options on the FORM properties. Am I missing a simple way to force a refresh so the field goes back to it's default DISABLED? Thanks in advance!

• Html LogIn form not functioning

• SharePoint Server 2007 and HTML Forms - How to control access rights

  I'm working with Hosted SharePoint 2007 with Forms Server. I need to allow client access to submit HTML forms designed in Infopath. Problem is, I need to make sure the clients don't see the library. There is sensitive data that will be on these forms. I also need to have a repeated library that is based on the Internal Admin records and requirements. Outside of making a seperate library per customer, does anyone have any suggestions? My Goal: 1: Customers enter their requests through a link or provided page 2: Internally address the requests and perform required arrangements, add billing and payment fields 3: Have SharePoint metrics, reports, etc... based on the provided intormation and status. • Using jQuery to call a web service

  I have created a web service which takes a username and password as parameters and returns a list of children in JSON (the user is a Social Worker). The web service is hosted locally with IIS7. • WGet or cURL: Mirror Site from http://site.com And No Internal Access

  I have tried wget -m wget -r and a whole bunch of variations. I am getting some of the images on http://site.com, one of the scripts, and none of the CSS, even with the fscking -p parameter. The only HTML page is index.html and there are several more referenced, so I am at a loss. curlmirror.pl on the cURL developers website does not seem to get the job done either. Is there something I am missing? I have tried different levels of recursion with only this URL, but I get the feeling I am missing something. Long story short, some school allows its students to submit web projects, but they want to know how they can collect everything for the instructor who will grade it, instead of him going to all the externally hsoted sites.

• Jquery Close/Open Multiple Toggles

  Hi, I have the toggle in my menu Working successfully for the two links that I have within it. Because the top link once toggled covers the other link, there is no problem. But since the link beneath it leaves the top link exposed, a user could click that and now have two toggled items open and pretty much stacked on top of each other. Is there a way for me to check if the other toggled item is open and if so, close it? • Android Alert Dialog Extract User Choice Radio Button?

  Apologies for any coding ignorance, I am a beginner and am still learning! I am creating a quiz app which reads questions off a SQL database and plots them as points on a google map. As the user clicks each point, an alert dialog appears with radio buttons to answer some question. My radiobuttons are in CustomItemizedOverlay file and when I click submit, I want to be able to send the user choice back to the database, save it and return to the user if their answer is correct. My question is this, how do I pass the user choice out once the submit button has been clicked? I tried making a global variable to read what was selected to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated! • How can I transfer a logged in user's login data from one server to another?

  I have one server "A" where users can login. Login is verified by an LDAP server "L". I have a different server "B" were users can log in, too. Login is verified by the same LDAP server as before. Both servers are standard web servers with PHP. My goal is: If a user is logged in to server "A", and if he clicks a link to log in to server "B", the user should automatically be logged in without re-entering username and password. What is a good and secure way to achieve this? I can't submit username and crypted password to server "B". I can't use the PHP session of server "A", because it does not exit on "B". Cookies won't work either. I think that there is a way, but I just can't see it. Any help is very much appreciated.

  I have a small web site and would like to add a 'contact us' form and a 'feedback' form. i would like the forms to satisfy the following: 1- be modern looking (with beautiful css effects) 2- the form fields are validated properly and 'inline'. What I mean is once a user skips a required field or enters an email address incorrectly some kind of tooltip or icon is displayed to ask him to cerrect the error (as opposed to a message box that appears after the user clicks 'submit') 3- once the submit button is clicked the form contents are emailed to me. 4- the whole thing can be setup by a noob like myself. 5- no ads on the form I have been searching for at least 5 days for a solution but I can't seem to find anything the would satisfy the above 5 conditions. I don't mind paying for a solution as long as it is hosted on my site and it is a one off payment and not a monthly payment. So far my search has lead me to the following: 1 wufoo. The good: the generated forms seem to look okay but not the best there is. The bad: the free service is limited to 100 submissions. ads on the form. it is not hosted on my server. Paid service requires monthly payments 2- emailmeform: almost same as above except the generated form looks old. They do have an offer where you pay only $4 to get the form and set it up on your own site but that doesn't solve the fact that the forms look old. 3- formAssembly: same as above with minor variations (the generated form looks better) 4- formchamp, formthis, kontaktr,... And other similar online services: the same problem. either the form generated looks outdated or require monthly payments or they put ads...they don't satisfy my conditions. 5- coffeecup form builder. a desktop software. The problem is the generated forms look too old and use flash. 6- simfatic. Another software. Much better than coffeecup. almost satisfies my conditions but the forms not as good as I like. 7- many, many php scripts or html templates that look so outdated or fail when tested (probably because they are too old). Seriously guys, how hard is this. At least 90%+ of website contain at least a 'contact us' form. Why aren't there better solutions? if there is I can't seem to find them. And this is a perfect example of what I mean by 'inline' validation. the only problem: there is no script to handle sending the mail. Even if I find one, I don't know how to modify it for my needs. If nothing exists then at least a: 1- form template (html) that looks nice and can easily be modified 2- a validation script that does 'inline' validation like the example above (or similar to it) and can be easily implemented by a noob like me to work with the html form. 3- a php script that will handle sending the email and can be easily implemented (all three working in harmony). • Using Credentials with network scanners

  I'm testing out both Tenable's Nessus scanner as well as eEye's Retina for scanning network devices. I am trying to supply credentials to get deeper, more accurate results, however there seems to be no difference in the results whether I supply the credentials or not. I've read the documentation and it seems like I've tried all the logical settings in the Credential options. I've submit along with usernames and passwords for many different accounts and types of accounts (both SSH Credentials and Web Application Credentials) on the devices as well as their respective domain names (when applicable). Is there possibly a good test for either (or both) scanners to tell where these credentials are being provided (if at all) and if any of them are successfully getting authentication?

• Tomcat access logs - are failed requests included?

  We have a RESTful web service (Java, hosted in Tomcat on Ubuntu on Amazon EC2). From time to time it fails (not every week). When it fails, Java CPU consumption goes to 100% and it takes all available memory. It does not finish by itself. I have to restart the server. There is nothing suspicious in Tomcat access logs. I guess one of our users could submit a very "heavy" request which brought the server down. Is it possible this request is not in Tomcat logs since it never finished?

  I have a CA installed on of my Windows Servers in a small farm of systems. I've installed the Certification Authority Web Enrollment and Certificate Enrollment Web Service roles on the CA. I want to issue a Computer certificate to a computer not jointed to my domain. The user attempting web enrollment has domain credentials. The user was able to navigate to https://myServerHostname/certsrv and request a User certificate successfully. However, the user needs a Computer cert as well. From the certsrv site, the user tried the following: Advanced Certificate Request Create and Submit a Request to this CA However, the Computer certificate template is not available under the Certificate Template heading. He is only seeing "User" and "Basic EFS". How do I configure the CA to allow him to request a Computer cert for his system?
