  • iPhone SDK "White Flash" transition

    I want to make a button; when you press it the screen fades to a "flash of white" and back like in those powerpoint transitions. I'm thinking maybe dynamically changing the opacity of a white square or something? What do you think? Is there something like this that already exists like part of Catransitions or something?   • Save gcc compile status to a text file for Java

    I'm making a C Assessment Program through Java, which has a bunch of programming questions for C, and it lets the user input an answer in the form of C code, and then press a "Compile" button, which is linked to a bat file that runs the user input code through gcc. I've got the input and compiling working, but I need to get the output from the compiler and get that to print textarea within the program. Also, how would I get the output of the compiler if the compile fails because of an error? The way I've got it in my batch file at the moment doesn't put anything in a text file if it fails.

    I am trying to implement validation using IDataErrorInfo or INotifyDataErrorInfo but either way I am struggling to make it work only once user start entering data or clicking save button. Since I am using MVVM, I am setting my view's datacontext to ViewModel and my ViewModel is implementing IDataErrorInfo / INotifyDataErrorInfo. I need to make sure validation happens but not when form loads up. Anyone has got any suggestion how I can implement? Thanks

    I have an asp:ImageButton with OnClick="Btn_OnClick". In Btn_OnClick I have this line: DataTable dtTable = (DataTable)Session["someSessionKey"] and dtTable is altered in the function. I've noticed that if the button's clicked more than once, the dtTable I take from the session contains the altered table, probably meaning dtTable is not a copy but a reference of the session variable. How can I alter a copy of Session["someSessionKey"], and not the actual value? Thanks!

    I have a custom checkbox with these attributes: android:id="@+id/map_toolbar_details" android:layout_width="80px" android:layout_height="106px" android:scaleType="center" macro:selectedResource="@drawable/map_toolbar_details_selected" android:button="@drawable/map_toolbar_details" When I load it up, the image gets stretched, even though it's set to scaleType center. If I set a background, I do not have this problem.

When the submit button i pushed, the site is redirected to the actual CGI file that outputs the result of the calculation.   • 100% width table cell

    Hello! I have this table layout. I want to align the whole content to the right. So i'm using one cell with width: 100%;. Usually everything looks good and nice. But there is something, which i don't understand. If the content in cell, which has colspan, becomes bigger than normal cell in this column (you can test this by clicking Click to test button), it brakes whole layout. This happens on Chrome, Safari 4 and 5, IE8, but on Opera, FF and IE7 is OK.   • Korean keyboard handling is different on Win 7 Ultimate K then on a regular Win 7

    Hi, I have a Win32 application which hosts a windowless flash activeX. When I'm trying to enter Korean keyboard input on a regular Win machine (after adding Korean support), everything works fine. However, when I trying the same thing on a "real" Korean windows (Win 7 Ultimate K), the text comes out strangely. I.e., pressing the "z" button would yield "1K". Any ideas? Thanks in advace
