  i have a web site for download mobile files and there many users in my web site. sometimes i have the error below : HTTP Error 503 - Service is unavailable 1-so why this error happens and what is that mean? 2-as i know appache free up itself when it's oveloaded, but what about iis? how can i put some limitations in my server (i have remote access to my server) for prevent this error happening? a.is limitation of dowload's speed efficient for prevent that error's occur? how can i do that? is squid useful for this job or i can do that with another iis extension. b.is limitation of download's Bandwidth efficient for prevent that error's occur? how can i do that (with iis or another extension)? in right side of iis - configure area - i found some limits. what do those limits mean and can i use them for keep my server alive all the time? EDIT: after viewing event viewer of windows - custom views - server rols - web server (iis) i figure out there is no error in that area. but many warnings and information. the latest warnings and information are like below : warning A worker process '2408' serving application pool 'ASP.NET 4.0 (Integrated)' failed to stop a listener channel for protocol 'http' in the allotted time. • Win2008/IIS7/fx2.0 - 500.19 error

  I installed new boxes at the beginning of the week. 1) Web Server on Win2008 x64, IIS 7 + all updates 2) DB Server on Win2008 x64, SQL 2008 Ent + all updates I configured my websites, set up host headers and DNS entries, worked through some problems on my handlers and finally got it all running Wednesday morning. Our team has been using it since then. This morning I came in and everyone of us is getting a 500 error. • WPA2 authentication fails on Ubuntu 12.04 using Rosewill RNX-N1

  Decided to reduce the clutter in the house and replace a wired connection with a wireless one on my wife's system using USB network device Rosewill RNX-X1. I can see and connect to unprotected network, but WPA2 authentication repeatedly fails. RNX-X1 works on other systems (including TV); also have 2 of 'em and tried each. Worth noting that I recently switched from Comcast to CenturyLink and so switched routers. The system connected successfully to previous router (Linksys EA4500) using WPA2. Would think it is the router (Actiontec C1000A) but all other devices (TV, iPad, Windows, Blackberry, and Squeezebox) connect ok. Would appreciate some diagnostic guidance and insight (phrased for a newbie!)   The CD/DVD drive on my sisters' (I'm helping her shift from Win. XP (now officially deprecated by Microsoft) to Ubuntu) system. Now, it may end up being a failed attempt, all together (Almost the whole last year (when she's been on XP) the disk drive hasn't (not even powering on) been working.), I just want to make sure I've explored every remote possibility. Because I figure, "Huh, now that I've got Ubuntu running, instead of XP, that (just) might make a difference.".   Hi, whatever I'm doing in Eclipse, I get an error. At start up I get an error at Java tooling initializing. I get an error when I want to open a type. And it's always the same error. For example, when opening a type I get: An internal error occurred during: "Cache refresh". 2048 The error at the start up also prints the error code as 2048. I'm using the most up to date version of Eclipse. Do you know a way to fix this issue?

  I'm having a problem with Ubuntu that I'm finding hard to troubleshoot for reasons that will become clear: reboot -bash: /sbin/reboot: Input/output error dmesg -bash: /bin/dmesg: Input/output error ps -e ps: error while loading shared libraries: /lib/libproc-3.2.8.so: cannot read file data: Input/output error lsof -bash: /usr/bin/lsof: Input/output error fsck -bash: /sbin/fsck: Input/output error badblocks -bash: /sbin/badblocks: Input/output error So I can't see what is going on, and I can't remotely reboot. What can I do to get to the bottom of this? Interestingly: init 0 Segmentation fault I can cat /var/syslog but not /var/log/messages or several other important files. less and more don't work, neither do tail or head, etc.

• /usr/share/apport/apport-gpu-error-intel.py Error

  I was on Ubuntu 12.10 and ran the system updates and after the re-install, the system became unstable and kept prompting me with the message "System Issue" and this as the error per Ubuntu "/usr/share/apport/apport-gpu-error-intel.py". After I tried re-starting, the issue is still appearing and the system ultimately freezes (requiring a hard reset). I tried a clean install of 12.10 and the system works fine until the newest updates are applied...it then returns to the same messages. I then tried a clean install of 12.04 LTS and just like 12.10 it works until the latest updates are applied. On 12.04, I tried to use the previous kernel - going from 3.5.0-26 to 3.5.0-23 and the issue is still there. Currently, I'm sitting on 12.04 LTS clean install without doing the updates and the system is working. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Thanks.

• Why won't USB 3.0 external hard drive run at USB 3.0 speeds?

  I recently purchased a PCI Express x1 USB 3.0 controller card (containing the NEC USB 3.0 controller) with the intent of using a USB 3.0 external hard drive with my Linux box. I installed the card in an empty PCIe slot on my motherboard, connected the card to a power cable, strung a USB 3.0 cable between one of the new ports and my external HDD, and connected the HDD to a wall socket for power. Booting the system, the drive works 100% as intended, with the one exception of throughput: rather than using SuperSpeed 4.8 Gbps connectivity, it seems to be falling back to High Speed 480 Mbps USB 2.0-style throughput. Disk Utility shows it as a 480 Mbps device, and running a couple Disk Utility and dd benchmarks confirms that the drive fails to exceed ~40 MB/s (the approximate limit of USB 2.0), despite it being an SSD capable of far more than that. It didn't, so I tried 2.6.38-rc3-generic, and even the 2.6.38 nightly from 2010.02.01, to no avail. I can understand that you can do code review, but is there a simple way to conduct this? I think we are not ready for a full blown, check-in by check-in code review.

  I am running ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, and recently I am helping in testing out indicator-weather using the unstable buids. However there was a bug which caused my system to freeze suddenly (due to indicator-weather not ubuntu) and the only way to recover is to do a hard reset of the system. This happened a couple of times. And when i tried to open banshee after a couple of such resets I get the following fatal error which forces me to quit banshee. When I get HTTP 500 error I see this page: Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on the local server machine, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "RemoteOnly". To enable the details to be viewable on remote machines, please set "mode" to "Off". Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.   I have written a web app that uses Spring MVC libraries and Spring JDBC to connect to an Oracle DB. (I don't use any ORM type libraries as I create stored procedures on Oracle that do my stuff and I'm quite happy with that.) I use a connection pool to Oracle managed by the Tomcat container The app generally works absolutely fine by the way! BUT... I noticed the other day when I tried to set up the app on another Tomcat instance that I had forgotten to configure the connection pool and obviously the app could not get hold of an org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource object, so it crashed. I don't want the user to see a yard-and-a-half of Java stack trace in their browser, rather a nicer message that tells them there is a database problem etc. It seems that my app tries to configure the "dataSource" bean (in "servlet-context.xml") before any code has tested it can actually provide a dataSource object from the pool?! Maybe I'm not fully understanding exactly what is going on in these stages of the app firing up ... Thanks for any advice!

  Hi, whatever I'm doing in Eclipse, I get an error. At start up I get an error at Java tooling initializing. I get an error when I want to open a type. And it's always the same error. For example, when opening a type I get: An internal error occurred during: "Cache refresh". 2048 The error at the start up also prints the error code as 2048. I'm using the most up to date version of Eclipse. • IIS 7.5 error 500 in fastcgi module after upgrading wordpress to 3.0.2

  I am running multiple wordpress blogs on the following setup: Server 2008 R2; IIS 7.5; PHP 5.3.3; MySQL 5.0.7; I upgraded my wordpress install from 2.9.2 to 3.0.2 (on 2 different sites) today and the upgrade went fine. I can serve .php pages without errors, log into the admin system etc. I can browse my blog by going directly to mywebsite.com/index.php, but when I try to go to mywebsite.com (without the index.php) I get he below 500 error. I reset IIS, removed and re-attached the default document, but I am running out of ideas. Please if anyone has a solution for this that would be great.
