  • Drupal Query builder

    - by Rimian
    I quite often use Drupal's Views Module to build SQL that I paste into my code. It understands the Drupal database schema quite well. Is there a module that would give me this functionality or can I factor this out of Views?

  • My app has some basic problems, and it stops working

    - by user2882662
    I am writing a basic application which contains two activities. Both contain a TextView showing the title and the first one contains an EditText in which the user types a message and clicks on a button on its side, the second activity is launched which shows the message the user types. It has the following problems: The title (the first TextView in both the activities) doesn't show in the middle of the line, despite of the android:gravity="center_horizontal" attribute. The EditText in the first activity does not show at all. When I click on the button, the app stops saying "Unfortunately Write n Display and stopped.", rather than launching the second activity at all. I don't have adequate knowledge about logcat, but I have followed the steps somebody had told me, that is WindowOpen Perspective Other DDMS Then run the app and select the package name from the Devices and click on log cat, select the exception(s) and export to text file. All contained in the text file is : : E/(): Device disconnected: 1 Since I am not sure of using log cat, so I am posting a screenshot to make clear what I have done. • Drupal UC "Quoting / Estimate" error

    - by Murtez
    Hi, I was playing around with Drupal UC and installed a module called "Quoting / Estimate" (http://drupal.org/project/quoting), I tried to run it and got this error: **warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'quoting_quote_clear_page' was given in /home/ergospec/public_html/d/includes/menu.inc on line 348** Has anyone run into this problem? Second question: anyone know of a good quotation module (where customer can request a price quote, not the brackets)? It doesn't have to be in Drupal. Any help is appreciated. Murtez

  • AddThis share button wont work in DotNetNuke

    - by soldieraman
    For some reason when I add a HTML module (well the default module added to DNN 5.4) and then add the "AddThis" javascript. While the button shows up clicking on it opens up a new page rather than showing an iframe modal message or on hover a list of popular social media networks to share the page with. Wonder what would be the easiest way to resolve this and why this happens?

  • Why does headless PDE Build omit directories I've specified in build.properties's bin.includes?

    - by Woody Zenfell III
    One of my Eclipse plug-ins (OSGi bundles) is supposed to contain a directory (Database Elements) of .sql files. My build.properties shows: bin.includes = META-INF/,\ .,\ Database Elements/ (...which looks right to me.) When I build and run from within my interactive Eclipse IDE, everything works fine: calls to Bundle.getEntry(String) and Bundle.findEntries(String, String, bool) return valid URL objects; my tests are happy; my code is happy. When I build via headless ant script (using PDE Build), those same calls end up returning null. My tests break; my code breaks. I find that Database Elements is quietly but simply missing from my plug-in's JAR package. (META-INF and the built classes still make it in there fine.) I scoured the build log (even eventually invoking ant -verbose on the relevant portion of the build script) but saw no mention of anything helpful. What gives?

  • Starting inets/httpd with custom application

    - by williamstw
    I've got a module that I'm attempting to turn into a proper OTP application. Currently, the module has start/0 which starts a genserver which supplies configuration data read from a config file. It then calls inets:start(httpd,config:lookup(httpd_conf)). I gather that I need to move the starting of these out into the .app file's (application list) but I'm not sure how to get my config data into the inets:start function (or pass in httpd)? Thanks, --tim

  • How to navigate clicking row to another UITableView ?

    - by Meko
    Hi. I am trying to show detailed UItable view when clicking on row. I used - (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { // Navigation logic may go here. Create and push another view controller. // AnotherViewController *anotherViewController = [[AnotherViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"AnotherView" bundle:nil]; photoListViewController = [[PhotoListViewController alloc]initWithNibName:@"PhotoListViewController" bundle:[NSBundle mainBundle]]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:photoListViewController animated:YES]; [photoListViewController release]; // [self.navigationController pushViewController:anotherViewController]; // [anotherViewController release]; } This PhotoListViewController is an empty UITableViewController. As I know UITableViewCOntroller has a navigation controller implemented and I don`t have to create navigation controller. But When I clicked on row it does not navigate to second view.AM I have to make some connection on nib file?I only created this PhotoListViewController in File-New-UIViewCOntroller and selected UITableView. EDIT : SOLVED I solved my problem.I should use UINAvigation object.I thought that UITable has it but there was no ))

    I'm having issues with switching xib's when I try to from my second view into the third. I get into the second view from the first like this... -(IBAction)startButtonClicked:(id)sender{ Number2ViewController *screen = [[Number2ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:nil bundle:nil]; screen.modalTransitionStyle = UIModalTransitionStyleCrossDissolve; [self presentModalViewController:screen animated:YES]; [screen release]; } But when I'm in the second view trying to get to the third view, the app crashes... -(IBAction)nextButtonClicked:(id)sender{ Number3ViewController *screen = [[Number3ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:nil bundle:nil]; screen.modalTransitionStyle = UIModalTransitionStyleCrossDissolve; [self presentModalViewController:screen animated:YES]; [screen release]; } I know how to go into one view and then immediately back using [self dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES]; How do you just keep going to different views though without having to go back first?

  • Drupal Forms - Setting a Default Value

    I am using the webform module for Drupal 6 and would like to set a default value for the confirmation message of the webform whenever it is created. Would I have to create my own module to set this form value whenever a user creates a new webform? Or would I have to implement a special hook to look for when a webform is created?

  • Easiest way to automatically download required modules in Python?

    - by user248237
    I would like to release a python module I wrote which depends on several packages. What's the easiest way to make it so these packages are programmatically downloaded just in case they are not available on the system that's being run? Most of these modules should be available by easy_install or pip or something like that. I simply want to avoid having the user install each module separately. thanks.

  • Rails Beta3 & PaperClip & Passenger Bundler::PathError

    - by firecall
    So I'm going around in circles with this - I'm using a fork of the Paperclip Rails gem to get it to work with Rails3. Works fine on my OSX box with Passenger. But on my server (CentOS 5) I get this this error: git://github.com/lmumar/paperclip.git (at rails3) is not checked out. Please runbundle install(Bundler::PathError)Blockquote I tried Bundle Pack, but that doesnt pack gems from github. I read a post about setting the parh to the BUNDLE_HOME in my application.rb file which I tried: ENV['BUNDLER_HOME']="~/.bundle/ruby/1.8/bundler/gems/" But that doesnt work. Any ideas anyone? I dont know what else to do and have no idea how to debug or trace the problem further :( Passenger version 2.2.11. thanks.

  • python: simple example for a python egg with a one-file source file?

    - by Jason S
    I'm not quite sure how to build a really simple one-file source module. Is there a sample module out there one the web somewhere which can be built as a python .egg? From the setuptools page it looks pretty simple, you just have your setup.py file and then at least one other .py file somewhere, and I can build an .egg file OK, and even install it using easy_install, but I can't seem to import the file from within python. (note: using 2.6.4)

  • android: having two listviews in two listactivities didn't work

    - by Yang
    I guess my previous question wasn't clear enough (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2549585/android-failed-to-setcontentview-when-switching-to-listactivity), so I explain as follows. In my app I have two listactivities which uses two different listviews: public class Activity1 extends ListActivity { @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { try{ super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.listview1); } public class Activity2 extends ListActivity { @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { try{ super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.listview2); } } As required by android, listview must have an ID which is exactly "@android:id/list". If I set the listview in both listview1 and listview2 with the same ID, then they will end up using the same format of listview, which is not what I want. But if I set one of the IDs to be sth like "@+id/listview2", android gave me the error: java.lang.RuntimeException: Your content must have a ListView whose id attribute is 'android.R.id.list' How do I handle this dilema?

  • [iPhone] presentModalViewController not working

    - by ryyst
    Hi, here's my code: ViewController *vc = [[ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"TableView" bundle:nil]; [self.navigationController presentModalViewController:vc animated:YES]; //[self setView:[vc view]]; If I call it, nothing happens. However, if I change it to: ViewController *vc = [[ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"TableView" bundle:nil]; //[self.navigationController presentModalViewController:vc animated:YES]; [self setView:[vc view]]; The view appears just fine (without the transition, of course). What am I doing wrong? Is there anything special you have to take care of when initializing the view controller? I tried to copy as much as possible from Apple's examples, but I can't get this to work... Thanks for any input! -- Ry

    I am using this to determine which view to go to next, from the result as input from UITableView. The following code isn't working, but I think it should be! Do you see anything wrong with it? NSString *option = [menuArray objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; if (option == @"New Transaction"){ NTItems *nTItemsController = [[NTItems alloc] initWithNibName:@"NTItems" bundle:nil]; // Pass the selected object to the new view controller. [self.navigationController pushViewController:nTItemsController animated:YES]; [NTItems release];} else if (option == @"Previous Transactions"){} else if (option == @"Reprint a reciept"){} else if (option == @"Settings"){} else if (option == @"Logout"){ LoginViewController *nTItemsController = [[LoginViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"LoginViewController" bundle:nil]; // Pass the selected object to the new view controller. [self.navigationController pushViewController:nTItemsController animated:YES]; [LoginViewController release]; }
