  Hi, I would like to use a UIWebView to display some files (PDF, PPT, DOC) and would like to have the ability to scroll using external controls (ie a couple of buttons that, when pressed skip back and forward a page) and display the current page in a UITextView. Is this possible? I have no experience with javascript, but a friend of mine has suggested that this might be a useful approach. Is his suggestion valid? JP

  Hi, I am a newbie with VTK and C++ (but am well versed in the concepts/Java etc). I will eventually need to use both QT and VTK for my project. (1) I would like to know if there is a "development environment"/"editor" for VTK (using C++) ? (2) Something similar to VTK Designer (http://www.vcreatelogic.com/products/vtkd/) ?   In my organization they are thinking about rolling out Eclipse company wide but I prefer using another editor (UltraEdit). I do not have any good arguments against this except subjective opinions that a developer should get to use whatever he/she wants as long as he's productive enough. This to make the developer a happy employee :-) Do you guys think its a good policy to force all developers in the same company to use the same IDE? Would there be any technical (dis)advantages of this decision?
