  I am new to ubuntu , i have installed rdiff-backup. I have folder called sqlfiles on remote ftp server.The sql filesa are stored for last three days and then deleted. But i want to download the all copies to local computers I want to have incremental backups on my local server so that 1)If file is same then it should not be copied 2)if different , then overwrite it 3)If file is in local directory and not in FTP , then leave as it is How can i apply those rules to r-diff

• Mac OS X Lion - Xcode components simulator location

  When we downloaded Xcode 4.5.1, to test applications in older simulators we installed it from Settings->Downloads->Components Now there is Xcode 4.5.2 available. Again we need to download simulators for that Xcode ? or is there any location where those simulators stored similar to Documentation. In 2nd image below we can see location for documentation but in 1st image selecting simulator doesn't show any location of installation. Any idea ?

  I've found all my Outlook data files which contain all my emails at the following paths: C:\Users\C\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook C:\Users\C\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook and C:\Users\C\My Documents\Outlook Files\ I've migrated all these and copied it to my new machine at the same directories however my configuration is not there! None of my email pop/smtp settings are there, only the pst is loaded with my emails but all other configuration is gone, where precisely is that configuration stored?

Is there a way to have Firefox prompt for WHICH account should be used? It is unlike the normal HTML login forms in which you can just press the down arrow to select from multiple login accounts.

What format and file system are used to store the videos on the hard drive? I have looked at the documentation for this DVR box and there is no technical information about the manner in which recordings are stored. • Extract files in rar archive without having some previous files.

  I have a big rar archive which is split into 700mb parts. I only have part 5 and 6 and there is a 40mb file in there that I wanna extract using Winrar. I know the whole file is stored in part 5 because when I open part 5, that file gets listed (and many other files). But I can't extract any of them, cause it asks for previous archive parts which I'm sure it really doesn't need. Is there a way to do that?

• How can I prevent Virtualmin from storing passwords in cleartext?

  I am really surprised at this behavior. In Virtualmin, I can see the password for any SSH user by clicking the "(Show..)" link next to the "Password ( ) Leave unchanged" option in a variety of locations. I have found that the passwords for all users including users with SSH access are stored in cleartext files in /etc/webmin/... This seems like an unnecessary risk! How can I prevent Virtualmin from storing passwords in this manner?
