  • How to use .html file as a desktop background

    - by nebffa
I've looked around multiple times for solutions to this, but there aren't any answers. These are related questions without relevant answers: only wants icons wants to retrieve information from web I just have one downloaded .html file in it - matrix raining code - which I think would look totally badass as a wallpaper. Is there any way to accomplish this on Ubuntu? I am running version 13.10

  • Constructor overloading in Java - best practice

    - by errr
There are a few topics similar to this, but I couldn't find one with a sufficient answer. I would like to know what is the best practice for constructor overloading in Java. I already have my own thoughts on the subject, but I'd like to hear more advice. I'm referring to both constructor overloading in a simple class and constructor overloading while inheriting an already overloaded class (meaning the base class has overloaded constructors). Thanks :)

  • Is daisy chaining xslt an accepted practice?

    - by Stephen
I have a situation where I think I need to daisy chain my xslt transformation (i.e. that output of one xslt transform being input into another). The first transform is rather complex with lots of xsl:choice and ancestor xpaths. My thought is to transform the xml into xml that can then be easily transformed to html. My question is 'Is this standard practice or am I missing something?' Thanks in advance. Stephen

  • Firefox extension file structure best practice

    - by user353969
Is it a good practice to put js files of the "content" folders in inner folders representing their logical module? For example have a "datalayer" and "view" folders? I looked into some well known extensions, such as Firebug, and saw no such devision. I'm a Java developer so its seems much more natural to divide the files logically.
