  • Filter a CSV list in XSLT

    Hello SO; I'm trying to convert xml elements whose content is a csv list of identifiers, the exact form doesn't matter. I want to exclude every item that contains the character "/". The best I've come up with is translate(./someElement, ",*/*", "") but this has at least two problems; I'm pretty sure that xsl doesn't accept wildcards, and "," is an illegal character in xpaths. Is there a straightforward way to do this sort of thing?

  • How to troubleshoot "The server tag is not well formed. " error on sharepoint?

    I'm trying to edit a legacy wss3 sharepoint site. Messing around with a 700+ code lines aspx page I got a "The server tag is not well formed." error on sharepoint and The ?content=1 trick does not work. Anyone has a tip on how to get to the line that's causing the problem? I'm expecting something like the aspnet ysod, at least that's usefull. If it's worth something, I have access to the actual server.

    Hello, I am wanting to create a web-based cronjob system for my userbase, and would need to know the best way to open a php script on a remote server, and ensure the script runs (could take 3 minutes), and use the least ammount of resources on my own side.   • Why can't I write just a try with no catch or finally?

    Sometimes I do this and I've seen others doing it too: VB: Try DontWannaCatchIt() Catch End Try C#: try { DontWannaCatchIt(); } catch {} I know I should catch every important exception and do something about it, but sometimes it's not important to - or am I doing something wrong? Is this usage of the try block incorrect, and the requirement of at least one catch or finally block an indication of it?

    I know that so far (until MSSQL 2005 at least), system databases are master, model, msdb and tempdb. Thing is, as far as I can tell, this is not guaranteed to be preserved in the future. And neither the sys.databases view nor the sys.sysdatabases view tell me if a database is considered as a system database. Is there someplace where this information (whether a database is considered a system database or not) can be obtained?

  • Using mod_negotiation to serve webp if the UA requests it.

    Is it possible to use mod_negotiation to serve up a webp image if the browser supports it, and a jpg otherwise? For instance, if I link to an image with the path /images/test, it serves the image found at /images/test.webp if the UA knows about webp, or jpg otherwise? I've tried poking around, but it seems that the Accept headers in Chrome at least look like Accept:*/*, rather than specifying the image type. If this isn't the way to do it, has anyone got any other suggestions?

  • How do I disable auto- poster image generation on the video tag?

    I'm using the 'poster' attribute on a video tag and the way it seems to work at least in webkit browsers is that it loads the poster image and then once enough of the video has loaded, it replaces that poster with an auto-generated poster from the video file itself. However, my poster images don't match the auto-generated posters which results in a weird experience of one image loading, then being replaced in a few seconds by the auto-generated image. Is there any way to prevent the auto-generated image from being used?

    I've created this code branch so that if the permalink settings do no match at least one of the OR conditions, I can execute the "do something" branch. However, I believe there is a flaw in the logic, since I've set permalinks to /%postname%.html and it still tries echo's true; I believe I need to change the ORs to AND, right? if (get_option('permalink_structure') !== "/%postname%/" || get_option('my_permalinks') !== "/%postname%/" || get_option('permalink_structure') !== "/%postname%.html" || get_option('my_permalinks') !== "/%postname%.html")) { //do something echo "true"; }

  • Reading a SquashFS archive

    (SquashFS is a compressed filesystem - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SquashFS) I'm looking for a way to read a SquashFS filesystem from a program. So far, I've know about the in-kernel drivers for it, but I'm sure that a userspace library for it must exist somewhere. Any language would be fine, but C is preferred. Just mounting the filesystem and using it that way is technically possible, but I'd rather avoid that route because the application I'm looking at would involve working with at least a few dozen archives at any given time.

    No, I'm not talking about making a slideshow of pictures. How can I make the actual file that windows (at least windows 7) uses for screensavers? It is a .scr format, and when I opened it in Notepad, I got a bunch of symbols, with a few words scattered throughout, but that was expected. It looks like it was made with directx, xml, and even assembly (for the shaders) based on the recognizable code there. I just went on to a site-hosting place and made this: Link to ribbons.scr code

    I'm using org.w3c XML API to open an existing XML file. I'm removing some nodes , and I'm adding others instead . The problem is that the new nodes that are added are written one after another , with no newline and no indentation what so ever. While it's true that the XML file is valid , it is very hard for a human to examnine it. Is there anyway to add indentation , or at least a newline after each node ?

The gist of the widget would mimic the needs/functionality of Twitter's widget (http://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets), where it uses some combination of JS, PHP and/or AJAX and retrieves information from a MySQL DB with secure (or at least somewhat safe) cross-browser access.     What would be the least-slow thread-safe mechanism for controlling multiple accesses to a collection in Java? I am adding objects to the top of a collection and i am very unsure what would be the best performing collection. Would it be a vector or a queue? I originally thought an ArrayList would be fast but i ran some experiments and it was very slow. EDIT: In my insertion testing a Vector delared using volatile seems to be the fastest?

    Hi, is there a way - much like the way i can see the result of preprocessing when using 'gcc -E' - to see what my objects look like once the compiler compiled them into object files? I am not too good in reading assembler, so an advice to get the results as text would be nice .. or at least a little 'howto read the constructor intructions' or 'howto find the constructor' ... I am talking about gcc/g++, but a solution including msvc would be fine. Thanks!

So I am looking for column names for which some sort of useful values exists at least in one row. How do I do this? Update: This sounds very close.     I have an issue in the mind and that is since the jump instruction changes EIP register by adding signed offsets to it(if I'm not making a mistake here), on IA-32 architecture how would going upward in memory from location 0x7FFFFFFF(biggest positive number in signed logic) to 0x80000000(least negative number in signed logic) be possible? or maybe there shouldn't be such jump due to the nature of signed logic?

    How can I change the program a file is opened with by default (or at least add that program in the list of programs from Open With... ) using C# or VB.NET ? What I mean is, I would like to have programs with the extension abc open by default by the program abc.exe. Or, have the program abc.exe in the list of programs that will be shown in the context menu on the "Open With" option, for files with extension "xls".
