  Hi, is there a way to avoid form closing when adding or editing a row. Jqgrid is working perfectly in our application, but there is a little problem, when the user is editing or creating a row via form editing and the user clicks outside the form's modal, the modal closes and the changes are lost. Is it posible to avoid this behavior?

  Consider there is a QTablWidget and a QTextEdit. Both of them are in a horisontal QSplitte. Let the QTable widget has 2 columns. The problem is to resize the table columns' width as you do resize operation by moving the splitter with mouse. Are there any options to may colums to be resized synchornosly with the table? Thanks.

• How can you prevent an individual window being captured by Print-Screen?

  I noticed a few times than when I print-screen while Media Player is running, the content is replaced with a grey rectangle. I've no idea if it's deliberate due to DRM, or some technical issue, but it struck me that being able to deliberately block screen-capture might be a useful feature in some scenarios. I am not looking to fix the problem, but replicate it! Is there some specific message each HWND gets for print-screen - does Windows do a special repaint or simply dump buffers to the clipboard? I guess I'd prefer to focus this on Win32 specifically, but as long as it's Windows-related then fine.

• A hooked DirectX 9 program crashes on window resize, texture related.

  I'm using EasyHook and SlimDX to overlay some graphics using SlimDX's Sprite and Texture classes. When I resize windows some programs fine, but others will crash - Winamp's MilkDrop 2 gives me an ambiguous memory error for example. I expect this is due to the after market Texture I created. The question is what VTable function should I hook and/or how/when do I dispose and recreate the Texture? Reset perhaps? If it isn't obvious I don't know much about DirectX.

• JFrame is not acting as expected!

  This is my first time using a JFrame. I can't get the window to display the text areas I've nested inside the JFrame. • How can you save Cocos2D window output as Video?

  I am considering using the excellent looking Cocos2d for a motion graphics project. However, Cocos2d is intended for games, rather than producing an MPEG stream. Is it possible to save the output from a Cocos2d script to a MOV or MPG file? Ideally this needs to be done in a direct manner, not using a screen capture as this would not meet the requirements of the project. Hopefully there are some cocos2d gurus out there :D Thanks!

  I can successfully send any single key message to an application, but don't know how to send combinations of keys (like Ctrl+F12, Shift+F1, Ctrl+R, etc..) Tired doing this that way: SendMessage(handle, WM_KEYDOWN, Keys.Control, 0); SendMessage(handle, WM_KEYDOWN, Keys.F12, 0); SendMessage(handle, WM_KEYUP, Keys.F12, 0); SendMessage(handle, WM_KEYUP, Keys.Control, 0); but this doen not seems to work.. (application act like only F12 is pressed, not Ctrl+F12).. Any ideas how to make this work?

  I'm writing an application in WPF using the MVVM pattern. In my application I've got an IPopupWindowService which I use to create a popup dialog window. So to show a ViewModel in a popup window you'd do something like this: var container = ServiceLocator.Current.GetInstance<IUnityContainer>(); var popupService = container.Resolve<IPopupWindowService>(); var myViewModel = container.Resolve<IMyViewModel>(); popupService.Show((ViewModelBase)myViewModel); This is all well and good. What I want to do is be able to set the MinHeight and MinWidth on the View bound to myViewModel and have the popup window use those settings so that a user cannot make the window smaller than its contents will allow. At the moment when the user shrinks the window the contents stops resizing but the window doesn't. • Most efficient way to update a MySQL Database on a Linux host with that of an ASP.Net Form on Window

  My kind webhost (1and1) royally asked me to go elsewhere to do something like this. I have 2 sites. One of them was developed by a .Net programmer. Now I am contracted to implement a PHP site and fetch data from the .Net site. There is an ASP.Net form that a customer fills and when they hit submit, the data gets stored in SQL Server DB. How do I also store the same data in MySQL parallelly? I cannot directly use some database connectors with ASP.Net since MySQL connectivity is not supported on 1and1 Windows hosting (biz account, no less!). What I thought of is to publish an RSS feed of entries in ASP.Net site and routinely scrape that data into MySQL on Linux host. It is an overkill, I know. Not efficient. I thought I would pick the best brains on SOF to get a different, efficient opinion. Thanks in advance guys...

  Here are my goals: My application displays an overlay window above all applications' window. The user can draw in the overlay window. The mouse cursor changes to a specific cursor while in the overlay window. The application that has the active appearance before summoning the overlay window still has it while the overlay window is up and usable. The user does not need to click on the overlay window to activate it before they can draw. Drawing in the window does not steal the active appearance away from the application that has it. With LSUIElement, I get #1, #2, #3, and #5. With LSBackgroundOnly, I get #1, #2, #4, and #6. How can I satisify all of these goals without installing an event tap and processing the mouse events myself? Things I've tried: [NSApp preventWindowOrdering] in mouseDown: [NSApp activateIgnoringOtherApps:YES] in applicationWillFinishLaunching: [myWindow orderFront:nil] in applicationWillFinishLaunching: [myWindow makeKeyAndOrderFront:nil] in applicationWillFinishLaunching: [myWindow orderFrontRegardless] in applicationWillFinishLaunching: [myWindow makeMainWindow] in applicationWillFinishLaunching: (this caused failure of point 4 even with LSBackgroundOnly) SetThemeCursor in applicationWillFinishLaunching: (With LSUIElement) Implementing canBecomeMainWindow in my NSPanel subclass to return NO Except where otherwise noted, none of these made any difference. So, with LSUIElement, goals #4 and #6 remain; with LSBackgroundOnly, goals #3 and #5 remain. Any suggestions?
