    there is an example provided on how to add tags to a model with is_taggable, and it works very nice (working in 5 minutes) Now, I also need the opposite, show all records that are tagged with a certain word. Something like: ModelWithTag.find_by_tags "foo" or find_all_tagged_with "foo" Is this possible with is_taggable ?

    I am using TortoiseSVN and I have a SVN repository organized in this way: folder1 folder2 trunk tag branches folder3 trunk tag branches folder4 folder5 trunk tag branches I would like to know if there is a way to checkout only trunk directories, keeping the entire tree under the versioning control: folder1 folder2 trunk folder3 trunk folder4 folder5 trunk In this way I can update all trunks with a single update command on folder1, without updating tags and branches which can be full of data.

    Hi, I did a Mod rewrite for my website so the URLs looks like this : http://www.mydomain.com/health/54856 http://www.mydomain.com/economy/strategy/911025/ http://www.mydomain.com/tags/obama/new So, the problem is that i make AJAX calls to a file here : http://www.mydomain.com/login.php And i don't want to write the FULL url or even use ../ trick because there isn't a fixed number of folders. If I use jQuery to and do this: $(document.body).append(valueToInsert) It all works fine. Bad thing is, that I cannot use jQuery as this code will be added to sites I'm not in control of using some "already-implemented" script includes. Does someone have a trick? If jQuery can do it, it must be possible? I had another issue in Opera.     I am trying to embed a Quicktime video in Firefox, but when I do the controller buttons do not appear. I've tried both the old style embed tag and the new style object tags, but when I set the "controller" option to true there is no change in the appearance of the plugin. The video loads, but it is zoomed in on some portion of the video and there are no buttons to play, pause, etc.

    I'm using Weblogic 9.2 with a lot of MDBs. These MDBs access JDBC DataSources and write to both locally and externally managed JMS Destinations using local and foreign XAConnectionFactorys, respectively. Each MDB demarcates a container-managed JTA transaction that should be distributed amongst all of these resources. Below is an excerpt from my ejb-jar.xml for an MDB that consumes from a local Queue called "MyDestination" and produces to an IBM Websphere MQ Queue called "MyOtherDestination". These logical names are linked to physical objects in my weblogic-ejb-jar.xml file. Is it required to use the <resource-ref> and <message-destination-ref> tags to expose the ConnectionFactory and Queue to the MDB? If so, is it required by Weblogic or is it required by the J2EE spec? And for what purpose? For example, is it required to support XA transactionality? I'm already aware of the benefit of decoupling the administered objects from my MDB using names exposed to the naming context of the MDB. Is this the only value added when specifying these tags?   • Alternatives to HTML for website creation?

    Hello It seems the most common aproach to web design is to use HTML/XHTML & CSS in conjunction with other technologies or languages like Javascript or PHP. On a theoretical level, I'm interested to know what other languages or technologies could be used to build an entire site without using a single HTML tag or CSS style for styling/positioning? Could a website be made only using XML or PHP alone, including actual styling and positioning? Presumably Flash sites are till embedded in HTML tags? Thanks
