  • Running simple cron on MAMP

    - by stef
How can I get http://localhost:8888/site_name/index.php to run every 30 min until I manually stop it (edit the cron file)? This is on a Mac running MAMP. I know how to set one up using the wizard in a cpanel but have never done this on MAMP before.

  • Storage and bandwidth for a social network

    - by user38141
I guess i asked a dumb question earlier. I am fairly new at this. I have a socal network being built in PHP wit MYsql. I was wondering how much bandwidth and storage would allow users to have have 500mins of streaming video and allow them to store photos and videos. Please forgive me. I am not a technology guy and just doing some research as I am learning as I go along.

  • Open ports in Windows 7, firewall, public network, port 445

    - by chris
I selected "public network" in Windows 7. Windows is listening on TCP port 445: TCP 0.0.0.0:445 WIN7TEST:0 ABHÖREN The corresponding incoming firewall rule isn't activated (4th column): When I choose "workplace network" the SMB incoming port 445 rule is still disabled in the advanced windows firewall configuration. I thought "public network" / "workplace network" and so on is influencing the windows firewall rules!? Where's the difference between workplace and public network then? http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=winfire2nxku0.png

  • Best tools for "ssh tail -f" style log file monitoring and analysis

    - by dougnukem
I'm looking for a tool to monitor custom PHP Error logs/Apache and possibly Java logs on remote development servers. I'm not looking for a full production log system like Splunk, but something that's a little more flexible than an ssh terminal doing a "tail -f". Perhaps something that will: * Monitor multiple log files to my local machine for searching/analysis later * Allow "alerts" when certain strings appear in the log * Provide some kind of tabbed/dashboard view of the multiple logs being monitored (in total less than 10 logs).

  • nginx proxypath https redirects to http

    - by Thermionix
    I'm trying to setup Nginx to forward requests to several backend services using proxy_pass however several pages load with 404s The links on the pages have https:// in front, but result in a http request - which ends in a 404 - I only want these services to be available through https. I've tried with varied trailing forward slashes appended to the proxypath and location in proxy.conf, I've also tried commenting out www.conf (just incase its location blocks could have caused any conflicts) to no effect. So if a link is too https://example.com/sickbeard/errorlogs in a browser when loaded https://example.com/sickbeard/errorlogs gives a 404 in a browser https://example.com/sickbeard/errorlogs/ loads nginx error log; 2011/11/23 14:21:58 [error] 28882#0: *6 "/var/www/sickbeard/errorlogs/recent.html" is not found (2: No such file or directory), client: 192.168.1.99, server: example.com, request: "GET /sickbeard/errorlogs/ HTTP/1.1", host: "example.com" Config files; proxy.conf location /sickbeard { proxy_pass http://localhost:8081/sickbeard; include proxy.inc; } .... more entries .... sites-enabled/main server { listen 80; include www.conf; } server { listen 443; include proxy.conf; include www.conf; ssl on; } www.conf root /var/www; server_name example.com; location / { autoindex off; allow all; rewrite ^/$ /mainsite last; location ~* \.(jpg|jpeg|gif|css|png|js|ico)$ { expires max; } location ~ \.php$ { fastcgi_index index.php; include fastcgi_params; if (-f $request_filename) { fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; } } } proxy.inc proxy_connect_timeout 59s; proxy_send_timeout 600; proxy_read_timeout 600; proxy_buffer_size 64k; proxy_buffers 16 32k; proxy_pass_header Set-Cookie; proxy_redirect off; proxy_hide_header Vary; proxy_busy_buffers_size 64k; proxy_temp_file_write_size 64k; proxy_set_header Accept-Encoding ''; proxy_ignore_headers Cache-Control Expires; proxy_set_header Referer $http_referer; proxy_set_header Host $host; proxy_set_header Cookie $http_cookie; proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $host; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Server $host; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;

  • Email arrived in SPAM no matter I do SPF, DKIM, and others stuffs

    - by Xjet
    During a full day I tried to removed my email from SPAM (in google). So I start from scratch by instaling Postfix on debian, setup SPF and DKIM. Email stay in spam but header are here. So I continue to set up DMARC. So far so good. Here is my last header : Delivered-To: h********[email protected] Received: by 10.224.84.20 with SMTP id h20csp148174qal; Tue, 3 Jun 2014 01:16:22 -0700 (PDT) X-Received: by 10.112.148.165 with SMTP id tt5mr6432900lbb.61.1401783381908; Tue, 03 Jun 2014 01:16:21 -0700 (PDT) Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from bcp.monconcours.com ([188.226.227.141]) by mx.google.com with ESMTP id ue3si38630125lbb.3.2014.06.03.01.16.21 for <h********[email protected]>; Tue, 03 Jun 2014 01:16:21 -0700 (PDT) Received-SPF: pass (google.com: domain of [email protected] designates 188.226.227.141 as permitted sender) client-ip=188.226.227.141; Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=pass (google.com: domain of [email protected] designates 188.226.227.141 as permitted sender) [email protected]; dkim=pass [email protected]; dmarc=pass (p=NONE dis=NONE) header.from=bcp.monconcours.com Received: by bcp.monconcours.com (Postfix, from userid 33) id 9EA90614F2; Tue, 3 Jun 2014 08:16:20 +0000 (UTC) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/simple; d=monconcours.com; s=mail; t=1401783380; bh=IHAmfgk+Ge5iunMmbPMRKPHJrHsCmMebmJkS/G3zk7w=; h=To:Subject:From:To:Reply-To:Date; b=w/cIlRwSFhNS0TIKJj6yd2R3PeKDkkSf/ht2x4FV4l1jOlgsEwsXN8m4aJQMO0uCA hG4AOUgIGAlCoP5qrgLGtRYgjVbKXmHY0cjMxUvbVDKI0xymzSxzuPqoIXWD3COe+v +W57zmEFcq93pJvDUivJzgIWbYFy6SRWe495ups0= To: h*****[email protected] Subject: Creads.fr vous remercie de votre visite, Buissness Angel pour 3 million X-PHP-Originating-Script: 0:testmail.php From: "Banque BCP - Concours photo #teamportugal" <[email protected]> To: hu*****[email protected] Reply-To: "Banque BCP - Concours photo #teamportugal" <[email protected]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative;boundary=np538d84549a709 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Organization: Creads Digital X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: PHP5.4.4-14+deb7u9 Message-Id: <[email protected]> Date: Tue, 3 Jun 2014 08:16:20 +0000 (UTC) This is a MIME encoded message. --np538d84549a709 Content-type: text/plain;charset=utf- I've also noticed a warn log for opendmarc : warning: connect to Milter service inet:127.0.0.1:8893: Connection refused But it seems that DMARC pass anyway... • Recommend a free/cheap CRM system [closed]

    - by Dan Hedley
I am part of a 4 person volunteer team who manage a small housing development in London. We need a low-cost/no-cost contact management and issue tracking system. Specifically, it needs to be: -Web-based, or easily shared between 4 people working out of their homes -Easy to backup and restore -Decently secure Does anyone have any recommendations? I am reasonably technically literate, so a PHP-based solution running on a cheap hosting package would definitely be a viable option. Many thanks.

  • Piping Mail with Exim: Only Works Locally

    - by John
Whenever I send an email to my catchall alias via SSH (i.e., locally), Exim successfully pipes the e-mail to a PHP script, as I told it to do. However, when I try to send an e-mail to my catchall alias via my e-mail client (i.e., remotely), Exim won't pipe the e-mail. Any ideas?

  • openvz graphing user_beancounters

    - by Jona
Hi there, We run a cluster of openvz servers and are looking for a way to automatically graph the content of user_beancounters for all ves. We currently have a fairly rudimentary cron which alerts us when limits are hit but we could like a graphing solution to show us history. Obviously we could roll our own using some fancy bash/php/perl and rrdtool but we're wondering if there are any existing solutions before we go down this path. We current run a cacti/snmp based graphing infrastructure.
