  • Facebook Connect on iPhone question

    When you use facebook connect on the iPhone do you have to use the supplied login button and login screen built into the framework? The reason I ask is because I'm also using twitter and I would like to have the same user experience when they log in to user as they have when they log in to facebook. So I can either replicate the login screen facebook connect uses for twitter or just not use the facebook connect login screen all together.

Create a Web page that allows a user to enter a purchase price into a text box - include a JavaScript function that calculates shipping and handling. Add functionality to the script that adds a minimum shipping and handling fee of $1.50 for any purchase that is less than or equal to $25.00. For any orders over $25.00, add 10% to the total purchase price for shipping and handling, but do not include the $1.50 minimum shipping and handling fee. It does display an alert box with the value entered by the user but doesn't add anything. Although, I don't know why the formula doesn't work.     I have a JTable that stores the results of a database query, so far so good. What I want is for the last column in each table to have a clickible JButton that will open the edit screen for the object represented in that row, and that means the button will need to know the details of the first column in the table from its own row (the ID from the database). Any advice? I already tried just adding JButtons but they turned into Text when I tried to run it.

  • AVAudioPlayer lag when calling play

    I have set up an AVAudioPlayer object in viewDidLoad, as per the Apple guidelines, calling prepareToPlay as the last line in viewDidLoad (i have tried in awakeFromNib also). When i press my play button, there is a pause, as it would appear to load the file, then it plays. In audioPlayerDidFinishPlaying, i reload the player with a different sound, and when clicking play for a second time, the file plays instantly. What would cause the player to lag on the first play? Thanks.

When an user types some name in it and a match is found then a list appears carrying user icon , status icon and his/her name. Also the width of dynamic list is same as beak window.   • Any way to make dialogs appear/disappear with a transition in MFC?

    For instance I have a main dialog, when I click a button a smaller dialog appears next to it. But it would be neat if the small one could somehow transition in, rather than simply appear. For instance using transparency, or zooming in, or sliding in from width=0 - full-width. Making an actual dialog do such things isn't too hard, but what about the controls within it? How might we approach this in a way that is reusable on different dialogs?
