  • Make an empty DIV height and width of its container

    My HTML currently contains a background image that stretches with the viewport. Within that, I plan to place a div that stretches to the height and width of the viewport and has black background colour at 50% opacity. I've set the div to be 100% width and height. The div is not stretching and I can't figure out why!     I am wanting to verify and then parse this string (in quotes): string = "start: c12354, c3456, 34526;" //Note that some codes begin with 'c' I would like to verify that the string starts with 'start:' and ends with ';' Afterward, I would like to have a regex parse out the strings. I tried the following python re code: regx = r"V1 OIDs: (c?[0-9]+,?)+;" reg = re.compile(regx) matched = reg.search(string) print ' matched.groups()', matched.groups() I have tried different variations but I can either get the first or the last code but not a list of all three. Or should I abandon using a regex?

The process was completed {3} milliseconds and data was received.", "Document.docx", "John", "1/1/2011", 45); Generate string looks like this then: Document Document.docx, was saved by John on 1/1/2011. The process was completed 45 milliseconds and data was received. Once such a string is received from a different application, what would be the easiest way to parse with regex and extract values Document.docx, John, 1/1/2011, 45 from it. I am looking for the easiest way to do this as we will have to parse a number of different input strings.

    Using VS2010 and .net V4.0 I would like to achieve the following: I already have 2 resource files in my project for 2 languages - English and Czech. I must say Resource Management in .net is excellent, I am suprised even to get code completion when implementing a String for example: string desc = Strings.ResourceManagerDesc This gets the string associated with the current culture of the thread. Now I am trying to create an Enum that can have the String portion of the Enum interpreted from the Strings resources. In the following way (This code DOES NOT WORK): public enum DownloadStatus { 1 = Strings.DownloadState_Complete, 2 = Strings.DownloadState_Failed, 3 = Strings.DownloadState_InProgress } This is a made up example, but you can see the point here. Since the above code won't work, is there a best practice way to achieve what I want?

What is the fastest way to paste a multi-line String from the clipboard into Java source using Eclipse (in a way that it automagically creates code like the above).

    From the java.text.ChoiceFormat API: setChoices(double[] limits, String[] formats): Set the choices to be used in formatting. Parameters: limits - contains [...] formats - are the formats you want to use for each limit. They can be either Format objects or Strings. When formatting with object Y, if the object is a NumberFormat, then ((NumberFormat) Y).format(X) is called. Otherwise Y.toString() is called. I'm having difficulties understanding the documentation for the formats parameter: how can you possibly pass a Format/NumberFormat object to setChoices if it's declared String[] formats? Note that interestingly, the getters counterpart of setChoices are declared as follows: double[] getLimits() Object[] getFormats() -- not String[]!!! Is this a bug in the API? Should the setter have been declared setChoices(double[], Object[]) instead, or am I not understanding how to use setChoices correctly?

    In ColdFusion, I can parse a string of XML formatted data into an XML Object using xmlParse(). How can I convert it back into a string? When I tried using toString() it throws an error that "it can't convert complex object to simple objects....", which is ironic because that's what it's supposed to do. I need to use XMLTransform() which requires the first argument to be an xml string. But I also need to use xmlSearch() to get a node to pass into my transform, and xmlSearch returns an xmlObject. So now I need to put that object back into xml string format to pass into xmlTransform.

    I have a Scala data structure created with the following: List(Map[String, Anyref]("a" -> someFoo, "b" -> someBar)) I would like to implicitly convert it (using scala.collection.JavaConversions or scala.collection.JavaConverters) to a java.util.List<java.util.Map<String, Object>> to be passed the a Java method that expects the latter. Is this possible?   • Searching for empty methods

    I am currently working on a security audit/code review of our system. This requires me to check all pages in the system and make sure that the code behind contains two methods that are used to check security. Sometimes the code in these methods get commented out to make testing easier. So, my question is does anyone know an easy way to search code, make sure the methods are present, and to determine which ones have no code or have all the code commented out. It would make my job much easier if I can get a list instead of having to look at every file... I'm sure I could write this myself, but I thought someone may know of something that already exists.     Hi, I am trying to implement FilePathCollection. Its items would be simple file names (without a path - such as "image.jpg"). Once the collection is used via foreach cycle, it should return the full path created by concatenating with "baseDirectory".   • Zend Framework - Not Connecting to IMAP mail server - instead dumps empty php file

    Hi guys I'm trying to connect to an imap mail server using zend frameworks Zend_Mail_Storage_Imap function. Its working with some accounts but with most accounts it just dies out. I'm connecting using: $mail = new Zend_Mail_Storage_Imap(array('host' =>$current_dept->incoming_server, 'ssl' =>$current_dept->ssl, 'port'=>$current_dept->incoming_port, 'folder'=>$mbox_name, 'user' =>$current_dept->email, 'password' =>$current_dept->email_psd)); WIth some email accounts teh code doesn't go past this statement - and instead I'm prompted to 'download' the php file being run. Whats happening here - the mail server details are correct.

    I'm using xpath 1.0 to parse an html file and I want to get a string sequence from a node-set. First I select a node-set (eg: //div) and then I want the string-value of each node of the set. I've tried with string(//div) but it only returns the string-value of the first node in the set. Example <foo> <div> bbbb<p>aaa</p> </div> <div> cccc<p>aaa</p> </div> </foo> I expect a result like ('bbbbaaa', 'ccccaaa') but I only get 'bbbaaa'

    I have the following code snippet: string tmp = String.Format("javascript:window.open('{0}');", url); ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(this.GetType(), "NewWindow", tmp); the url generated by this code include the port number and I think that is happening becasue port 80 is used by the website and in this code I am trying to load a page from a virtual directory of the website. Any ideas on how to supress the port number in the url string generated by this code?

But, the problem occurs when I try to find the newly added script. I use this code to iterate through all script elements: var bAdd = true; $("script").each(function() { if(this.src == sFile) bAdd = false; }); (I need this code to prevent adding script that is already loaded) Problem is that all other script elements have src attribute set, but the newly added (dynamically) has not... Any idea?

  • Checking an empty Core Data relationship (SQLite)

    I have a to-many relationship in my data model, and I'd like to get all the objects that have no corresponding objects in the relationship. For example: Customer - Purchases I want to get all Customers that have 0 Purchases. I've read somewhere that I could use "Purchases[SIZE] = 0", but this gives me an unsupported function expression error, which I think means it doesn't work with a SQLite backing store (which I don't want to switch from, due to some performance constraints). Any ideas?
