    We're currently testing Microsoft Dynamics CRM hosted by Fpweb. I've been asked by the lead on the project how we can increase the speed at which CRM pages in IE load. The delay seems reasonable to me for a virtual server located across the country. Has anyone succeeded in speeding things up with aggressive caching (i.e. a WAN accelerator) or by some other means? Do your employees complain about the speed of hosted Dynamics CRM?

I'm definitely no server admin, but I have been tasked with finding out the following: Can we monitor or log what users do?     Hello, I am using Windows Vista, my Motherboard is Intel D102GGC2 The transfer speed through USB is very slow on my PC, just 2-3 MBps... I also use Ubuntu 9.10, and surprisingly the USB transfer speed is as expected, ie 16-17 MBps. So everytime i have to transfer Huge files i have to reboot into Ubuntu. What might be the Problem ??? I checked the Intel website for the ubdated drivers for my mobo, but they dont support my mobo now. Thanks

  • Internet Explorer 8 remembering me (keeping cookies) in "New Session"

    From what I gather (e.g. http://tutorialfeed.blogspot.com/2009/06/ie-8-perk-access-multiple-gmail.html ) one can get a new IE8 window clean from older cookies and independent of what's going on in other windows. Alas, when I try that web sites still remember me in the window of the new session. Any ideas what's wrong in my setup? Thanks!

    I'm learning about network and I configured DNS in 2k3. In forward zone : cntt.edu www.cntt.edu [ 192.168.188.4 ] . [ All IP / DNS configuration is right ] After that I use wireshark to catch packet when I enter www.cntt.edu in IE . I see there's no DNS here, I forward directly to 192.168.188.4, there's no query .     Hi Im trying to print a php generated document in chrome, on the browser it looks fine But my printer will not print any coloured backgrounds. I know that IE has an option to print background but chrome does not . As the end user will print this off I do not want to find alternatives like a screen grab or save file etc I want to find a real solution to this . Can anyone offer any suggestions please ? Thanks

    For my small company, I'm using Tomahawk Backup as the enterprise offshore solution, as it covers files, databases and Exchange (brick level). The problem is the price... it costs more than 10x the price of Dropbox (and others) for the same space (120GB), and doesn't have de-duplication. So I'm wondering: assuming there is no problem with backing up files only (ie copying the exchange store file and the db files to the Dropbox folder), would Dropbox be suitable as the offsite backup solution?     I'm using VirtualBox OSE on Ubuntu 10.04. I have a Windows 7 guest VM which I use almost exclusively for MS Outlook to access my Exchange mailbox. If I click a URL in Outlook it obviously opens in IE in the guest VM, is there any way to have it perform a redirect of some sort? If I click a URL inside the VM, I want it to load in my default browser in the Ubuntu host.

She is currently using Chrome and IE, and I have never done that before, even on FF. I would prefer a solution that is simple and does not require additional applications.   • Firefox appending .xls extension to .xlsx files

    We are serving files with the .xlsx (excel 2007/2010) extension. IE, Chrome, Safari all download the file and open excel just fine. Firefox is being stupid. For some reason it's appending .xls to the extension. I found this: https://support.mozilla.com/bs/questions/758363 However, the instructions weren't very specific and completely unclear to me.
