    Hi, I wrote a AS3 script, i have 2 fields to validate, i.e email and name.   • doublebuffering not reducing the flicker

    I am drawing an grid-work of objects in a Panel. when I scroll the the panel quickly I get a flicker. I thought that enabling the double buffering may take care of this but what I find is that it does not completely draw everything and I am left with blank sections. could anyone give me suggestions as to what may be happening and how I might correct it. UPDATE: I found that I was creating the graphics object with Creategraphics() rather than using the Parameter in the paint method

Also, we can define different access modified to Abstract class constructor like private, protected or public.   • Missing Text in Air Application Flex4+Mac OSX Snow Leopard

    I am running the same AIR application under windows, linux and Mac OSX Windows and Linux look fine, but under mac OS-X the controls are not showing any text. Button, Tooltips, Labels, Check boxes, everything is blank. I just ported that app to Flex 4. Flex 3 versions of the same app on the same OSX machine works. How can I get controls to show text under Max OSX? Is this a font problem?

I can't figure out how to start with a blank formset; the only way seems to be to delete all of the data from the table, but clearly this isn't an option.     Sorry if this question is mind numbingly easy to answer, but I'm a bit new to JQuery and I have a tight deadline. I am looking for a selector for textbox elements that have this format: id = "FixedName_#" "FixedName" will always be "FixedName", but I only want to find elements where the # is positive. So I would want to find "FixedName_1", and "FixedName_2" for example, but skip over "FixedName_-1" and "FixedName_-2". Thanks!

  • Drupal 6 CCK - Having a textbox appear when 'Other' is selected

    I have a special content-type that I have created, and one of the fields is a radio button list. The last element is named 'Other' and I would like to have a textbox appear and allow the user to enter in a non-defined value. Is this sort of capability provided by any sort of module, or is this something that needs to be coded by hand? (If so, would you mind pointing me in the correct direction?)

    I was wondering, is there some type of disc ID i can use to search in my database to see if that disc is has been scanned or not? All disc were created by me typically burnt on windows. -edit- I could compare write time and volume label to see if the disc has been scanned but i notice if i put in certain commercial disc that fields are blank or wrong causing many false positives (i once had the time set to the future, i dont know if people want to archive the contents of files on a commercial disc in my app).

I have a simple application in mind that needs a GUI but I want to make sure it's portable to Linux/Windows/Mac equally well and with minimal (no) change for each platform. wxD is looking like the contender of choice because I know the wx toolkit already. I see fltk4d as a contender and a (unfinished) wrapper around Qt. Are there any other truly cross platform GUI toolkits for D that will go where I want with little effort and what would the the toolkit of choice for people here?

    Given an instance of a class, we can obviously return its name: trait MixedInClassDiscovery { val className = this.getClass.getName } class AClass extends MixedInClassDiscovery { ... this.className // returns "AClass" ... } But this way uses reflection, once for every instance of AClass. Can the same be done once for every class, instead? One solution which comes to mind is to mix it into companion objects instead of classes themselves.
