• C++ MySQL++ Delete query statement brain killer question

  Hello all, I'm relatively new to the MySQL++ connector in C++, and have an really annoying issue with it already! I've managed to get stored procedures working, however i'm having issues with the delete statements. I've looked high and low and have found no documentation with examples. First I thought maybe the code needs to free the query/connection results after calling the stored procedure, but of course MySQL++ doesn't have a free_result method... or does it?   Afetr using the Model library (see this) for my Maven pom.xml during this weeks I jumped on this error while attempting to write a ConfiguratonContainer into the pom.xml. The javadoc for Model says: public void setConfiguration(Object configuration) Set the configuration as DOM object. Parameters: configuration - So I made some xml with Document (org.w3c.dom.Document) and the xml parser standar javax library. You know the code (it's through all the net) but I paste it here... DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance(); DocumentBuilder parser = factory.newDocumentBuilder(); Document doc =parser.newDocument(); And then you fill the code with Element declaration,a lot of appendChild and such. And tried to make it work. Doesn't seem to do well. First tried using plugin.setConfiguration(doc); But it didn't work. Then I tried Obejct obj = doc; plugin.setConfiguration(obj); But it didn't work. Then I searched the net for answers, and guess... It didn't work. There are like 0 people using this library (maven.model) in all the net. So here am I again, asking the senseis for help. Where is my error? I have downloaded the source code of the library trying to see where is the error, but it seems to be ok (as should).   I have a web service in REST, designed with Java and deployed on Tomcat. However, when I run the client and add some info, parameters go OK, but in next time I input different parameters it'll input the same. I run this several times and I can't get the reason of it.   I have a website which processes orders from a Windows application. This works as follows: User clicks "Order now" in the windows app App uploads a file with POST to a PHP script The script immediately calls the PHP mail() function (order is not stored in a db) This works fine most of the time. However, sometimes a big delay occurs (several days). Customers calls why the product has not yet been delivered. They say the delay does not occur in their network (impossible). But they do confirm that the e-mail is first seen in their mail server on May 26, which is 7 days after the mail has been composed. The order is marked with the timestamp of the user's local PC, which also matches May 19 (so it's not a PC clock problem) It's also interesting to see that all delayed mails (orders were placed on different days) come in at once. So I suddenly receive 14 e-mail in my mailbox from various days. Any idea were this delay may be introduced? Could there be a bug in my PHP code that causes this? (I cannot believe I can introduce a loop of 7 days in my PHP code)

  This post will focus on some advanced programming topics concerned with IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) which provided as windows azure virtual machine (with its related resources like virtual disk and virtual network), you know that windows azure started as PaaS cloud platform but regarding to some business cases which need to have full control over their virtual machine, so windows azure directed toward providing IaaS. Sometimes you will need to manage your cloud IaaS through code may be for these reasons: Working on hyper-cloud system by providing bursting connector to windows azure virtual machines Providing multi-tenant system which consume windows azure virtual machine Automated process on your on-premises or cloud service which need to utilize some virtual resources We are going to implement the following basic operation using C# code: List images Create virtual machine List virtual machines Restart virtual machine Delete virtual machine Before going to implement the above operations we need to prepare client side and windows azure subscription to communicate correctly by providing management certificate (x.509 v3 certificates) which permit client access to resources in your Windows Azure subscription, whilst requests made using the Windows Azure Service Management REST API require authentication against a certificate that you provide to Windows Azure More info about setting management certificate located here.
