• How to output multiple rows from an SQL query using the mysqli object

Why does it not advance to the next row? if I move the code: $this->listing = $result->fetch_array() or die('could not create object'); foreach ($this->listing as $key => $value) : $info[$key] = stripslashes(html_entity_decode($value)); endforeach; if I move this outside the class, it works exactly as expected outputting a row at a time while looping through the while statement. Is there a way to write this so that I can keep the fetch_array() call in the class and still loop through the records?

• encrypting passwords in a python conf file on a windows platform

  Hello all. I have a script running on a remote machine. db info is stored in a configuration file. I want to be able to encrypt the password in the conf text so that no one can just read the file and gain access to the database. This is my current set up: My conf file sensitive info is encoded with base64 module. The main script then decodes the info. I have compiled the script using py2exe to make it a bit harder to see the code. My question is: Is there a better way of doing this? I know that base64 is not a very safe way of encrypting. Is there a way to encode using a key? I also know that py2exe can be reversed engineered very easily and the key could be found. Any other thoughts? I am also running this script on a windows machine, so any modules that are suggested should be able to run in a windows environment with ease. I know there are several other posts on this topic but I have not found one with a windows solution, or at least one that is will explained.

• Magento - save quote_address on cart addAction using observer

  I am writing a custom Magento module that gives rate quotes (based on an external API) on the product page. After I get the response on the product page, it adds some of the info from the response into the product view's form. The goal is to save the address (as well as some other things, but those can be in the session for now). The address needs to be saved to the quote, so that the checkout (onestepcheckout, free version) will automatically fill those values in (city, state, zip, country, shipping method [of which there are 3]) and load the rate quote via ajax (which it's already doing). I have gone about this by using an Observer, and watching for the cart events. I fill in the address and save it. When I end up on the cart page or checkout page ~4/5 times the data is lost, and the sql table shows that the quote_address is getting save with no address info, even though there is an explicit save.   I am using node.js. And then send all the data as response to the client. But it got an error because "k" inside of user.getUserInfo is not equal to the "k" outside. I do not know why the both "k" are not equal. And how will I send a response to the client after performing the loop. Thanks for your help!

• Is it best to make fewer calls to the database and output the results in an array?

  I'm trying to create a more succinct way to make hundreds of db calls. Instead of writing the whole query out every time I wanted to output a single field, I tried to port the code into a class that did all the query work. But if I want to output the price of that listing, I have to make another call to getListingInfo(). This makes another query on the db and again returns only the first row. This is much more succinct than writing the entire query each time, but I feel like I may be calling the db too often. Is there a better way to output the data from my class and still be succinct in accessing it (maybe outputting all the rows to an array and returning the array)? If yes, How?

• Cisco ASA bonding/teaming/port-channel capabilities

  Hello, This seemed to me like a really simple question that I would be able to answer by myself but I have not been able to find any info on this subject. I have a Cisco ASA 5510 which has 4 FastEthernet interfaces. I was wondering if it would be possible to use 2 or 3 of these interfaces as a port-channel in order to agregate bandwidth for multiple VLANs. I have found no info on the Cisco website nor on Google. • Linux: setting up an elite/high-anonimity Web proxy on a dedicated server

  I'm renting a dedicated server which I'd like to use to "surf the Web": basically I want to always surf the Web from the same static IP (the one of my dedicated server). I can do it by running Xvnc/FreeNX on the dedicated server, but this is kinda slow and clumsy (I tried it). What are the steps needed to install an "elite/high-anonimity" Web proxy on a dedicated (Debian) Linux server knowing that my two requirements are: I'm the only person that needs access to the proxy all I want is that my broadband (dynamic) IP is completely hidden (I want to always surf from my dedicated server's IP). Note that using the static IP people can find my domains and my real name and I'm perfectly fine with that (actually it is what I want). What I don't want is people knowing from which dynamic IP (broadband) I'm connecting. What are the steps needed to do that? (basically I don't care about "anonimity", what I want is to appear to surf from a static IP and I think I need what is called an "elite" Web proxy to do that, but I'm not sure) Technical infos and sample configuration most welcome :)

• DPM 2010 PowerShell Script to Easily Restore Multiple Files

  I’ve got what I thought would be a simple task with Data Protection Manager 2010 that is turning out to be quite frustrating. I have a file server on one server and it is the only server in a protection group. This file server is the repository for a document management application which stores the files according to the data within a SQL database. Sometimes users inadvertently delete files from within our application and we need to restore them. We have all the information needed to restore the files to include the file name, the folder that the file was stored in and the exact date that the file was deleted. It is easy for me to restore the file from within the DPM console since we have a recovery point created every day, I simply go to the day before the delete, browse to the proper folder and restore the file. The problem is that using the DPM console, the cumbersome wizard requires about 20 mouse clicks to restore a single file and it takes 2-4 minutes to get through all the windows. This becomes very irritating when a client needs 100’s of files restored… it takes all day of redundant mouse clicks to restore the files. Therefore, I want to use a PowerShell script (and I’m a novice at PowerShell) to automate this process. I want to be able to create a script that I pass in a file name, a folder, a recovery point date (and a protection group/server name if needed) and simply have the file restored back to its original location with some sort of success/failure notification. I thought it was a simple basic task of a backup solution, but I am having a heck of a time finding the right code. I have seen the sample code at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/how-to-use-a-windows-powershell-script-to-recover-an-item-in-data-protection-manager.aspx that I have tried to follow, but it doesn’t accomplish what I really want to do (it’s too simplistic) and there are errors in the sample code. Therefore, I would like to get some help writing a script to restore these files. An example of the known values to restore the data are: DPM Server: BACKUP01 Protection Group: Document Repository Data Protected Server: FILER01 File Path: R:\DocumentRepository\ToBackup\ClientName\Repository\2010\07\24\filename.pdf Date Deleted: 8/2/2010 (last recovery point = 8/1/2010) Bonus Points: If you can help me not only create this script, but also show me how to automate by providing a text file with the above information that the PowerShell script loops through, or even better, is able to query our SQL server for the needed data, then I would be more than willing to pay for this development.

• Cannot receive email outside domain with Microsoft Exchange

  This morning we couldn't receive email from outside our company's domain (domain.com.au), but we can send email to outside (e.g hotmail, gmail, yahoo). When I tried to send email to my work email address using my gmail account, I received this message Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 Unable to relay for [email protected] (state 14). I tried using telnet to send email, and it works. But still I couldn't figure out why I can't receive email from outside. I'm not sure if I provided enough info. I'll try to provide as much info as needed to help me solve the problem. Thanks

• Error while installing Xtrabackup

  I'd like to install XtraBackup (rpm -i percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64.rpm). During the rpm install it told me that it misses a dependency. error: Failed dependencies: perl(DBD::mysql) is needed by percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64 perl(Time::HiRes) is needed by percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64 Then I run yum install perl-Time-HiRes, and yum install perl-DBD-MySQL. For install perl-TImes-Hires has successful but not for perl-DBD-MySQL. Error: file /usr/share/mysql/ukrainian/errmsg.sys from install of mysql-libs-5.1.73-3.el6_5.x86_64 conflicts with file from package MySQL-server-5.6.10-1.el6.x86_64. I also had try to install : yum install cpan cpan DBI cpan DBD::mysql But still get the same error. So I hope someone can explain me what the right fix is, to get XtraBackup running on MySQL.

• IPcop Multiple WAN Subnets

  We have an IPcop firewall and have had no issues with it. We've had a block of 10 IP addresses from our colocation provider and have been able port forward from those to internal servers as needed. We've recently needed additional IPs and the colocation provider issued an additional block of 10. The problem: The 10 new IP addresses issued are in a different subnet with a different gateway. The question: How do I add the new gateway into IPcop? How do I make it so that any outbound traffic in response to any inbound traffic from a new IP go back out through the new gateway? I attempted to add a static route via the console using the following command: route add -net x.x.x.x gw x.x.x.x netmask 255.255.255.192 I also added the new IPs as aliases and setup port forwarding as I've done with the existing IP block. However, when I attempt to access a web server from an external workstation, it just times out. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

  I need to access a Linux box via SSH & Samba that is hidden/connected behind another one. Setup :- A switch B C |----| |---| |----| |----| |eth0|----| |----|eth0| | | |----| |---| |eth1|----|eth1| |----| |----| Eg, SSH/Samba from A to C How does one go about this? I was thinking that it cannot be done via IP alone? Or can it? Could B say "hi on eth0, if your looking for 192.168.0.2, its here on eth1"? Is this NAT? This is a large private network, so what about if another PC has that IP?! More likely it would be PAT? A would say "hi 192.168.109.15:1234" B would say "hi on eth0, traffic for port 1234 goes on here eth1" How could that be done? And would the SSH/Samba demons see the correct packet header info and work?? IP info :- A - eth0 - 192.168.109.2 B - eth0 - B1 = 192.168.109.15 B2 = 172.24.40.130 - eth1 - 192.168.0.1 C - eth1 - 192.168.0.2 A, B & C are RHEL (RedHat) But Windows computers can be connected to the switch. I configured the 192.168.0.* IPs, they are changeable. Update after response from Eddie Few problems (and Machines' B IP is different!)   I am trying to get a GNU/Linux Bash script to run as soon as a network connection is established on my Raspberry Pi. I tried following the instructions on several pages: I have tried adding my script to /etc/network/if-up.d and running sudo chmod ugo+x on the file. I have tried adding the line post-up <path/to/script.sh> to /etc/network/interfaces I am really quite clueless here. • SCCM 2007 managing hosts in non trusted forest

  I have an implementation of SCCM 2007 in forest "A" that manages hosts in that Windows 2008 forest. There is another forest/domain, "B", which I have no trust with that I need to manage hosts in as well. I don't need to push out clients from the SCCM console, I am going to install them manually. I just need the hosts in domain "B" to connect back to the forest/domain "A" for management purposes. To date, I have not added any AD objects to domain "B" for hosts to query for site, SLP or management point info. I am installing the hosts with the command line: ccmsetup.exe /mp:SCCM_Server /site:mysite SCCM_Server = FQDN of my sccm server (which is resolvable by the client) There are no ACL's between the two servers. From the logs, I can see the install complete and the client tries to query the local AD for the site info for "mysite" but it can't find it and it stops and never connects. Can anyone give me some direction as to how this should be setup?

Interestingly enough, this exact configuration is running on another system, and is working as expected.
