  • Two Persistence Units, Two entityManagerFactory(s), SPring, JPA, Hibernate

    I am using Two entityManagerFactory{1,2} based on two persistence units, autowired through spring, hibernate, with resource local. My DaoImpls are configured with the PersistenceUnit(unitName='...') according to the unit needed. I was under the impression that using them with the unitName specified would allow me to use x number of PUs without problem but I still get: expected single matching bean but found two: [emf1, emf2]. Am I missing some other configuration?

  • on facebook, how do i authenticate an application, using JavaScript?

    I can only find samples using php or curl. I want to do something like https://graph.facebook.com/<app_id>/accounts/test-users? installed=true&permissions=read_stream and the response is: { "error": { "type": "OAuthException", "message": "An access token is required to request this resource." } } as well is should... so how do i get the access token in JavaScript (using the JavaScript SDK obviously). thanks!

    I like the ease of using @Resource annotation to get a DataSource, but as far as I know, it's not possible to use it in a regular JavaBean. Would it be considered a bad practice if I pass the DataSource object from a servlet to a bean along with the other data to avoid having that lookup code in the bean?

Have tried following: var test = resultFromDb.Cast<BookedResource>(); return test.ToList(); But getting error: You cannot convert these types. Linq to Entities only supports conversion primitive EDM-types. UPDATE: When using the following the cast seams to work but when trying to loop with a foreach the data is lost. resultFromDb.ToList() as IEnumerable<BookedResource>; UPDATE 2: Im using entity frameworks generated model, model (edmx) is created from database, edmx include classes that reprecent the database tables. In database i have a history table for old BookedResource and it can happen that the user want to look at these and to get the old data from the database entity framework uses classes with the same name as the tables to receive data from db. So i receive the data from table HistoryBookedResource in HistoryBookedResource class. Because entity framework generate the partial classes with the properties i dont know if i can make them virtual and override. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    How common is it for coding style guidelines to include a requirement that all functions include a return statement (including functions which return void)? To avoid being subjective or argumentative, I'd like answers which can name specific companies or open-source projects which have this requirement.     I have successfully configured FBA in SharePoint 2010 with client integration enabled. I can edit the Word document with Office Word. The ‘Open with Explorer’ tool bar is enabled, but I get the error: \siteurl\DavWWWRoot\document is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. Is the 'Open with Explorer' option available with FBA? If yes, what are the missing settings?

  • Loading Huge Image

    Hi, I Want to load Image size 2550X3300 (i.e 1.7 Mb size), i have loaded the image into UIImageView and application gets crash due to low memory, Now i have loaded into uiWebview it works fine but i have to save this image into an PDF file in local resource. While iam saving UIImage in background same app gets crash due to low memory. Anyone has some suggestion or help to solve this issue. Thank You.

    I'm in trouble with paths, relative paths, NSBundle and all the path/file related operations :) While i run the simulator everthing goes right but all the file changes are not permanent, so everytime i run my app i have to repeat the initial setup of my app. The question: What is the proper way to read and write files (from resource dir) and make all the file changes permanent (updated into the project folder) ?   • Arrow in nav menus in CSS/JS (e.g. playframework.org)

    The navigation menu at the top of the www.playframework.org site features a small arrow pointing upward for the currently selected section (Home, Learn, Download,...). I tried to get behind the implementation they used, but I can't wrap my head around it - the resource does not show up in Chrome's Resources window, and an inspection of the elements did not show any signs of a background image, nor a JS interceptor (although I might have missed that). What in hellhound's name is going on there? :)

Much like what gets added to outgoing headers, e.g.: Server: Apache/2.2.13 (Win32) I've tried code like this: apr_table_get(request_rec->headers_out,"Server") But that doesn't seem to work. Is there an API call I haven't found or am I doomed to get version resource data from httpd.exe?
