  How do I add a cordova plugin made on 1.6.0 to a 2.2.0 cordova project for iOS? Upgrade the 1.6.0 project to 1.7.0, then 1.8.0 and so on (doesn't feel right)? Or how do I resolve the current callback signature on the new Cordova(2.2.0) that uses "(CDInvokedURL *)command" as parameter instead of (NSDictionary *)options? More specifically, I am trying to add the Calendar Plugin for iOS to a Cordova 2.2.0 project.

• Form value not passed to Seam bean after a4j reRender

  I'm making a webapp in Seam but ran into a problem I can't seem to fix. I have a JSF form where the customer can select a reservation type through a combobox. Based on the selected value, other form components gets rendered. For example: the customer selects Hours as reservation type, a panelGroup gets rendered where the customer can select a start- and an end hour. But if the customer would select 'part of the day' as reservation type, a selectOneMenu gets rendered where the customer can select a part of the day (morning, afternoon, evening) The rerendering well but the values of the components with a rendered conditional won't get passed to the bean. They stay null values.   If my applications run on a same computer or even on different computers in a same LAN and need intense and quick communication, it seems illogical for me to use text-encoded web services and HTTP. I could possibly use IP/TCP/UDP sockets and invent my own protocols, but believe there is a standard way for .Net applications to send/receive object instances (and, maybe, even sharing an object by reference?). Can you tell me what's that standard way? I am only interested in .Net Framework 4 applications and don't need to support legacy frameworks.

  I'm using the fragment identifier to create a permalink for AJAX events in my web app similar to this guy. Something like: http://www.myapp.com/calendar#filter:year/2010/month/5 I've done quite a bit of searching but can't find a list of valid characters for the fragment idenitifer. The W3C spec doesn't offer anything. Do I need to encode the characters the same as the URL in has in general? There doesn't seem to be any good information on this anywhere.

  I'm trying to understand the error my PS3 is having. It seems to be due to a calendar bug with handling leap years. With 2010 being the first even non-leap-year the system's been around for. People who have the error, like myself, are having their clock reset to 12/31/2000 at a random time. Anyone have any ideas?

  Most of the sites capture the date (e.g. birth date) information as either a single entity (i.e via a calendar control) or instead as separate fields (date, month, year). Are there any benefits in showing them as separate fields? Are they represented in the database as DATE data type or as separate fields. I am just trying to understand the pros & cons of representing the date field.
