    Is there a way to access ruby variables in sass or do i have to make a custom function for it? What im trying to do is to generate a stylesheet for each user so in the controller, i do something like: def show respond_to do |format| format.css{render :partial => "styles"} end end then in the view name _styles.haml i do this: :sass #header :background url(user.banner.url) is this possible at all?

    Hello, I am a seasoned Delphi developer and would like to create something like seamless terminal services where an application is executed on a server but appears on the the desktop of the client. To someone working on the server i don't want them to see the remote application running (except if they looked in at the list of running processes). Im lost as to how to go about this, where to start, how to get an application to render to a surface other than the servers desktop. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    so i call this php script from the command line : /usr/bin/php /var/www/bims/index.php "projects/output" and it's output is : file1 file2 file3 What I would like to do is get this output and feed to the "rm" command but i think im not doing it right : /usr/bin/php /var/www/bims/index.php "projects/output" | rm My goal is to delete whatever file names the php script outputs.     I'm trying to declare a method for my program that takes only a 5 digit integer and for each digit of the integer, reads a value from the program and prints it out. I understand this isn't very clear but im having trouble relaying what I mean. I understand it will be some sort of for loop to read each digit of the integer individually until something reaches 5. Something like the charAt() string method but works for digits.
