    Hi all, I have dual OS ( Fedora and windows xp ). for the past two months when i use windows xp, i'm frequently getting a blue screen with msg : " bug code usb driver ".Not knowing what to do next , i switch off the system and reboot it. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening , and how to troubleshoot this problem.. Edit: On Win8 Aero was removed but the taskbar is transparent (the desktop background picture is slightly visible 'behind' the taskbar). When I'm using the taskbar to switch programs I don't like seeing artifacts 'bleeding-through', I find it distracting.

    I have a SSIS package I am trying to schedule. I create a new job under SQL Server Agent. On the Command line tab of the jobstep, I choose "Edit the command-line manually". The changes are retained as I switch from tab to tab within the job step but whenever I exit and save the job, the changes are lost. Any ideas what's going on? I'm on SQL Server 2008.

I was wondering if I went to the effort of deploying one of the few methods to network boot from iSCSI inside the guests, whether the legacy network adapter would switch to a synthetic after boot, or whether the connection could be handed to a synthetic network after boot? This is obviously for performance reasons. MS suggests that some emulated devices are capable of switching to synthetic with integration services after boot, but doesn't specifically list all which are capable.

    I have a Logitech MK250 keyboard I use with my Macbook. One day the "minor/mayor than" and the "back slash" keys flip their functionality, so I have to hit "backslash" to get a "minor than" symbol and press the "alt + minor than" key to get the "backslash". Is there any way to reverse this annoying behavior? I often switch to Windows, where the keys work the expected way, and I'm always missing the right key.

Specifically, a black area unexpectedly appears on the left side of the Start menu. Additionally, the Windows Server 2008 logo bar is displayed horizontally instead of vertically.     I am running Windows7 RC1, I have recently installed CheckPoint VPN SecureClient (http://www.checkpoint.com/products/vpn-1_clients/) to connect to my work network. On installation this appears to have disabled Fast User Switching. You will notice "Switch user" is now greyed out. I tried some googleing first and the most popular solution is to remove a registry entry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ GinaDLL I have no entry there. Any ideas? Thanks.
