  • Online graphing and data visualization frameworks

    I have been looking around at web applications and websites with rich graphs, charts, and data visualization and for the most part have been able to determine which frameworks or tools websites are using. However I was looking over 'resumup.com' and couldn't determine what they are using. Does anyone know off hand or can you tell? It doesn't seem like any javascript framework i've seen unless its custom...is it some sort of flash or flex framework? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Marques

  • Java Data Structure

    Hi there, I'm looking for a data structure that will act like a Queue so that I can hava First In First Out behaviour, but ideally I would also be able to see if an element exists in that Queue in constant time as you can do with a HashMap, rather than the linear time that you get with a LinkedList. I thought a LinkedHashMap might do the job, but although I could make an iterator and just take and then remove the first element of the iteration to produce a sort of poll() method, I'm wondering if there is a better way.     I am working on an application which has got some sensitive information. I am aware that it would be difficult for a layman to hack into iphone to get the information. If I use SQLite directly I have something called SQLite Cipher to encrypt / encode the database. Is there anyway where I can have the same way of encrypting the coredata so it makes it hard for hackers to get into the data. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks in Advance

  • MVC4 Model in View has nested data - cannot get data in model

    I have a Model defined that gets me a View with a list of RadioButtons, per IEnumerable. Within that Model, I want to display a list of checkboxes that will vary based on the item selected. Finally, there will be a Textarea in the same view once the user has selected from the available checkboxes, with some dynamic text there based on the CheckBoxes that are selected. What we should end up with is a Table-per-hierarchy. The layout is such that the RadioButtonList is in the first table cell, the CheckBoxList is in the middle table cell, and the Textarea is ini the right table cell. If anyone can guide me to what my model-view should be to achieve this result, I'll be most pleased...     I've seen websites that screen programmers by their ability to write code. It's a service that you enter a programming question into and then send out a link. Job candidates program their solution to the question as they are timed and recorded. The person who posted the question can then playback a video of their candidate programming the script. This video allows them to see how quickly and neatly their job candidate can code. Are these types of services worth it? What caveats and hangups are there to using such things to screen potential hires?

I would like to know how I can calculate and update the duration property whenever the value for startDate and endDate changes?     I have a to-many relationship in my data model, and I'd like to get all the objects that have no corresponding objects in the relationship. For example: Customer - Purchases I want to get all Customers that have 0 Purchases. I've read somewhere that I could use "Purchases[SIZE] = 0", but this gives me an unsupported function expression error, which I think means it doesn't work with a SQLite backing store (which I don't want to switch from, due to some performance constraints). Any ideas?

    Hi, I feel this is something to do with my httpd setup for apache. I'm using mod_rewrite if that helps but I think that only effects the url. It seems when I output some data such as: $sMessage = 'Error'; echo $sMessage; It works fine but when I do this: $sMessage = 'Error'; echo ''+$sMessage+''; It returns 0. Very odd!
