    I am working as python developer and i work with djnago. I also do some web scrapping and building spiders and bots. Now from there i want to make my move to Business intelligence. I just want to know how can i move into that field. because as companies are not going to hire me in that field directly , i just want to know how can i make transistions. I was thinking of first work as Database developer in sql and then i can see futher. But i want from you guys so that i can start learning that stuff so that i can chnage jobs keeping that in mind. here in my area there are plent of jobs in all area but i need to know hoe to transitio and what thing i should learn before making that transition. Here JObs are plenty so if i know my stuff , getting job is piece of cake becaus ethey don't ahve any persons. same jobs keep getting advertised for months and months

    Windows Phone Developer Tools 7.1 Beta 2 was released on 6/29/2011. Are you ready for it? If not then let my guide help you get your system prepared and go through a few new features. Download links: Web Installer of Windows Phone 7.1 Beta 2 SDK ISO Image of Windows Phone 7.1 Beta 2 SDK - (723 MB) To get started you are going to need to remove the previous version of your Windows Phone Developer Tools 7.1 Beta 1.   This kicks off the process of uninstalling the Beta.   Once it is uninstalled then you are going to want to grab the bits from: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26648. The only thing your interested in here is the vm_web2.exe.   Make sure before you start that Zune is not running or you will get this error message like this one and have to restart from scratch. Now just go through your normal Install Screens. It should be installed and ready to go: A couple of things to note: 1) When creating a new phone application you now have several new templates to choose from as shown below. I welcome this addition because I’m a firm believer that we need more templates in order to get more people started. 2) Once you select an application template you can now pick which version of the Windows Phone platform that you wish to target: 3) If you created a WP7 7.1 Beta 1 project that it will still work properly in WP7 7.1 Beta 2. 4) You now have access to the search app icon. Once pressed then you will see something like this: 5) Under Settings –> Applications. You now have background tasks. 6) You will notice that the Web Browser looks a little different with the URL now located at the bottom of the screen and completely removing the “add”, “favorites” and “tabs” icon.     Doing a bit of advance research, and am stuck on the point summarized in the title. Namely, is there any way to forward-lock an APK installed programmatically, from another app? I've not come across anything beyond a hint in the following post: http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/msg/e39941389d4a4cf8 I can't see anything in the docs for PackageManager about forward- locking, but I readily confess that this is an unfamiliar area of the SDK for me.     I applied for a Web developer job in Quebec City, and they called me back for a phone interview. Everything went well, it last for over a hours, and at the end they ask me to send code simple and a portfolio, but in my research about the company and their products I found a PHP error(bug) in their app. Should I tell them or I would that make me look like a total jerk and blow my chance for a interview? I know it might sound stupid. As a junior developer I did 2 interviews they didn't go so well. I am very interested in this position part of my question is like a big lack of confidence so to make it short should I tell them about where is the error and how to fix it? Thanks

    This question is linked with the answers in the following question: Error removing Bitmaps[Android] Is there any advantage of using Drawable over Bitmap in Android in terms of memory de-allocation ? I was looking at Romain Guy project Shelves and he uses SoftReference for images caches but I'm unable to search where is the code which is de-allocating these Drawables when SoftReference automatically reclaims the memory for Bitmap. As far as I know .recycle() has to be explicitly called on the Bitmap for it to be de-allocated.
