  Hai, I am using the AxAcroPDFLib.AxAcroPDF library to Display the files in the winforms Control using the line, "AxAcroPDFLib.AxAcroPDF.src = path; " it's loaded the file well and when we click CTRL+F it showing search box and searching the searched string well. But we need to implement the search funtionality programatically using the Dotnet Code to automatically search the string in pdf file.*To do so i didn't find any supported methods to find the string programatically. please provide the solution to to implement the search functionality in pdf files. • JAVA: Sort ArrayList<ArrayList<Integer>> on multiple columns

  First, I did do my homework searching before posting here. My requirement seems to be slightly different compared to questions posted out there. I have a matrix like ArrayList<ArrayList<Integer>> in the following form | id1 | id2 | score | |-----|-----|-------| | 1 | 3 | 95% | | 1 | 2 | 100% | | 1 | 4 | 85% | | 1 | 5 | 95% | | 2 | 10 | 80% | | 2 | 15 | 99% | I want to sort the matrix column-wise (first using score, then the id1). I already have the id1 in a sorted manner. That means I also need to sort all records with the same id1 first by using score, second by the id2. The reason for doing this is to create a ranking of the id2 in each id1. The result for the above example would be: | q_id | d_id | rank | score | |------|------|------|-------| | 1 | 2 | 1 | 100% | | 1 | 3 | 2 | 95% | | 1 | 5 | 3 | 95% | | 1 | 4 | 4 | 85% | | 2 | 15 | 1 | 99% | | 2 | 10 | 2 | 80% | How can I achieve this in Java using some built-in methods of collections?

• Desktop Application Development with Javascript, Python / Ruby

  Hello, Besides using Appcelerator's Titanium Desktop, are there other approaches to integrating Javascript and Ruby/Python into cross-platform desktop applications? Just trying to get a sense of the landscape here. From searching the web, it seems Titanium may be leading the charge in terms of this type of integration. I wasn't able to find references that suggest you can do something similar in Adobe AIR. I am interested in building desktop applications that exploit Protovis and possibly other Javascript interactive vis packages for the UI. At the end of the day, I can go the web app route if need be, but being able to develop desktop apps is helpful. Would appreciate your perspective on this... Chris

• Suggestion for dragster/dropzone like dock menu

  I'd like to create a dragster/dropzone like dock menu. Looks a bit like a stack with a nsview in it. After a lot if documentation searching and googling I've found a way to determine a dock icon's location. (http://cocoadev.com/forums/comments.php?DiscussionID=1431) Is nzbdrop creating a view which just looks like an stack to display it's menu or is there a better way of creating this? Additional info: I'm not looking for the drop like functionality just the nice way the DropBox window is displayed as an bubble/stack menu on top of it's app icon.

  I have a table (say "Demographics") on SQL Server. In this table are the following columns "LastName", "FirstName", "MiddleName", "Prefix" , "Suffix". I have one textbox to search for them on a webpage. My question: Whats a good design strategy for queries where the user could be searching for various combinations of names including last names that have spaces e.g. "Smith James Jr." . Our customers store Jr. sometimes in suffix and sometimes just tack it to lastname. Sometimes Smith James Jr could be the entire last name.

• The body gets displaced (and part of the content disappears) on ie7

  I have been searching for a way to fix this problem for a while now. It seems something could be wrong on the javascript, or maybe it has something to do with the positioning. This page http://www.medspilates.cl/ works fine on FF, on Chrome, on Safari and on IE8, but on ie7 it doesnt, the body gets displaced to the right and the main content disappears, it's also happening on ie6 (it didnt but now it does). Sorry to post the full page but i can't pin point the exact problem except maybe the function i'm using for positioning $(document).ready(function(){var height = $(window).height(); $('#menu').css('margin-top', $(window).height() - $(window).height() /4) $('#post1').css('margin-left', $(window).width() - $(window).width() /1.125) }) any help would be apreciated since I just cant find the answer.

• Excel - Looping through data till it finds the right one

  I'm pulling data from one Excel table into another using an IF statement. I want it to check two fields and if it is a match I want it to print something and if it doesn't then I want it to continue searching. If there is no absolute match then leave the field blank. I believe I'm running into an syntax issue but after numerous iterations I can't get it to pull everything over. I see all around searching on the web - in articles from 2008 and 2009 - that they were adding Silverlight support in WinMo 6.1, for example: Internet Explorer Mobile The new version of Internet Explorer Mobile adds the ability to easily view full-screen Web pages and multimedia on the Web with a smartphone. Microsoft's press release states the new version takes advantage of "Internet Explorer 6 technologies" and supports industry standards such as H.264, Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight. The update will be available to mobile phone partners in the third quarter of 2008, with the first Windows Mobile phones using the new version expected to be available by the end of 2008. But I have found an SL app supposedly geared for mobile devices (as much as I hate weatherbug), but when i try going there in PIE on my WinMo 6.1 device, it shows me the little "get silverlight" image button, but clicking it doesn't do anything. So, what is the story? Is SL/WinMo development possible, or ?

  Hi, I have a telerik grid which is performing operations like searching,sorting,filtering etc. To make customers happy, we put this control in an ajax panel for seamless experience. Now, we added a new functionality to the grid where the customer can download the entire row information as a csv file. As the response is a file, ajax panel is trying to parse the output and throwing the following exception: Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near '?'. Could you please help me in having both functionalities( Ajax and Download) in place without any error?? Thanks, Mahesh

  I've been searching around trying to find an answer to this question, and I can't seem to track it down. Maybe it's too late in the evening to figure the answer out, so I turn to the excellent readers here. I have the following bit of JSON data that I am pulling out of a CouchDB record: "{\"description\":\"fdsafsa\",\"order\":\"1\",\"place\":\"22 Plainsman Rd, Mississauga, ON, Canada\",\"lat\":43.5969175,\"lng\":-79.7248744,\"locationDate\":\"03/24/2010\"},{\"description\":\"sadfdsa\",\"order\":\"2\",\"place\":\"50 Dawnridge Trail, Brampton, ON, Canada\",\"lat\":43.7304774,\"lng\":-79.8055435,\"locationDate\":\"03/26/2010\"}," This data is stored inside a Python dict under the key 'locations' in a dict called 'my_plan'. I want to covert this data from CouchDB into a Python dict so I can do the following in a Django template: {% for location in my_plan.locations %} <tr> <td>{{ location.place }}</td> <td>{{ location.locationDate }}</td> </tr> {% endfor %} I've found lots of info on converting dicts to JSON, but nothing on going back the other way Thanks in advance for the help!

  I have been searching on the web to see if I can use GoogleMaps with the JXMapViewer. According to this, it is illegal, but the article is more than three years old. Could anyone be kind enough to tell me if I can use GoogleMaps with the JXMap viewer? I know that Google has recently allowed desktop applications to use their static maps provided that the application is freely accessible to people on some website.   I'm searching for a tool that will take a source directory and produce a single PDF containing the source code, preferably with syntax highlighting. I would like to read the PDF on my phone, in order to get familiar with a code-base, or just to see what I can learn by reading a lot of code. I will most often be reading Ruby. I would prefer if the tool ran on Linux. I don't mind paying for a tool if it is particularly good. Any suggestions?

• Is it possible to find the KNN for a node that is *IN* the KD-tree?

  Hi there, Trying to create a KNN search using a KD-tree. I can form the KD-tree fine (or at least, I believe I can!). My problem is that I am searching to find the closest 2 neighbours to every point in a list of points. So, is there a method to find the K nearest neighbours to a point using a KD tree even if the point is actually IN the tree, or do I need to construct a seperate KD tree for each point, leaving out the point that I wish to search for? My implementation language is C++, but I am more looking for either an algorithm or general help, thanks! Thanks, Stephen

• Download HTML and Images with WGet without first few lines

  I'm attempting to use wget with the -p option to download specific documents and the images linked in the HTML. The problem is, the site that is hosting the HTML has some non-html information preceding the HTML. This is causing wget to not interpret the document as HTML and doesn't search for images. Is there a way to have wget strip the first X lines and/or force searching for images? • Winforms ComboBox autocomplete search multiple parts of string

  Very similar question to this one... http://stackoverflow.com/questions/522521/autocomplete-for-combobox-in-wpf-anywhere-in-text-not-just-beginning but my issue is for windows-forms rather than WPF. I have a winforms databound combox working great with autocomplete list coming from the data items in the combobox. Of course the client wants it to work "better", and that means that they want the autocomplete to work by searching and showing autocomplete options for any matching (contains()) string not just the starting string (startswith()) I know it's probably not just a property that can be set in the combobox, but can anyone point me in the right direction?

• Visual Basic 2010: How to make window/form become active foreground?

  I'm using Visual Basic 2010 Express. I have a form that can be minimized. There's also a tray icon. I've coded it so that if you double-click on the tray icon, the form's FormWindowState becomes set to Normal; this restores the form to where it to where it was before it became minimized, but the form does not become the active window on my desktop. How can I make the form become the active most foreground window? I've tried various functions that I can think of but no luck yet. Tried searching with various queries to try and find the right wording but no luck. I'm new to Visual Basic - only started a couple hours ago. Probably something simple but I can't seem to find the correct function or anything... Please enlighten me! Thanks.

• Help installing Zorba (XQUERY) PHP Extension on windows

  Hi, I'm trying to install zorba php extension on windows and I am having all sorts of problems. I have installed the zorba binaries on my computer, but when I try to install the PECL package (pecl install zorba-alpha) I get the following error "ERROR: the DSP zorba.dsp does not exist". I've tried searching for zorba_api.dll or zorba_api.so in order to just bypass the pecl install process, but no luck. If anyone can tell me how to get the zorba extension installed on my windows php I will be eternally grateful. Alternately, if someone knows of another xquery solution for PHP that I can install, I will be equally excited and appreciative. Thank you! Davey

• How can I retain the editing in the search result with UISearchDisplayController?

  I want to search a table in editing mode, but when I type a letter the variable tableView.editing is changed to NO. And when I cancel the search, the tableView.editing return to YES. I'd like to retain the editing YES in the result of the search. I put breakpoint in several methods.   Hi, I want to transfer HTML from my app to the iPhone mail application. I already have the HTML text - lest say <span style='color:red'Test</span I can place this to UIPasteBoard - but when I paste it to mail I get the html source. When I place the same string in a HTMLView - select it there and copy it it pastes as red text in mail. What do I have to do to place the string in the UIPasteBoard so that it pastes as red text to the mail application? I've been searching for "format types" - and found that UIPasteBoard returns "Aplle Web Archive pasteboard type" when I have the element (copied from UIWebView) in the clipboard. But setting this as type when adding the content to UIPasteBoard pastes nothing in the mail app. Manfred
