  • Custom order in Oracle PL/SQL

    I have an oracle query in which and i want the result to be in custom order 'SENIOR DIRECTOR', 'DIRECTOR', 'MANAGER', 'EMPLOYEE' which is from the field GRADE_DESCRIPTON. I am using the below query. However I am not getting the desired result The order of the result im getting is 'SENIOR DIRECTOR','MANAGER', DIRECTOR,'EMPLOYEE' SELECT DISTINCT GRADE_DESCRIPTION, HIRING_FORECATS.* FROM GRADE_MASTER left join IRING_FORECATS ON (HIRING_FORECATS.GRADE = GRADE_MASTER.GRADE_DESCRIPTION and HIRING_FORECATS.LOCATION = 'HO' ) order by decode(GRADE_MASTER.GRADE_DESCRIPTION, 'SENIOR DIRECTOR', 'DIRECTOR', 'MANAGER', 'EMPLOYEE') Any Suggestions??

    how is this possible first i do insert into table2 select * from table1 where table1.id=1 ( 50k records should be moved 6 indexes has to be updated ) second delete from table1 where id=1 ( 50k records are removed ) How is it possible that only 45k of records are moved? Im scratching my head over this and cant find a right answer Is it possible that the insert is still active and delete already started

    I found the only one simillar question but that's for linux and xcode only... http://stackoverflow.com/questions/854675/is-it-possible-to-set-up-a-linux-box-with-distcc-to-build-my-xcode-projects im really interested to use OSX GCC for OPENBSD BOX. because my server is really slow, and all I need is file sharing and printing at home. I like to use ports very much, especially rebuilding all packages for slow cpu, it's really noticable difference, anyway, IMHO, is it possible?

QMainWIndow that contains stackedWidget , the application starts with stackedWidget index 0 that contains qwebkit widget and after some user flow ,it changes to stackedWidget index 1 that contains QTree widget , to center the first widget i use in the QMainWindow constractor this line of code this-setCentralWidget(ui.webView); but when the application switching to index number 1 im getting exception that is coming from the switching command . why ?

    Im going through the different options of creating a custom UINavigationBar and since my app is iOS 5+, i am using this code: // Set the background image all UINavigationBars [[UINavigationBar appearance] setBackgroundImage:NavigationPortraitBackground forBarMetrics:UIBarMetricsDefault]; Now i want a custom image button on the very right side and am a bit lost.     I have a record of data with unix time date in it i want to select the row based on the date/month/year only (not with time) currently Im using something like this select * from tablename where date > '$today' and date < '$tomorow' LIMIT 1; how ever this is not that accurate if the $today and $tomorrow have different time (but same date) is there any better way to do this?
