    Upgrading FogBugz Version 7.0.34 (DB 717, Build 1080 Hi All, I am upgrading our current Fogbugz installation in Windows Environment (Server 2003) to the latest FogBugz-Setup-7.2.17. I have downloaded FogBugz-Setup-7.2.17.exe from the fogbugz website, Q - Are there any pre-cautions or steps required to do the ugprade or is it just a case of executing the exe ? Infrequent pre-processing is allowed (see possibilities section) Would be nice not to have to load the file each query (131Kb) Uses under 5 megabytes of disk space File Details One IP address per line 9500+ lines Possible Solutions Create a directory hierarchy (radix tree?) then use is_dir() (sadly, this uses 87 megabytes)

  • Importing a dmp with partitioned tables into Oracle XE

    I've got a schema containing partitioned tables. I can use exp to create a .dmp, but when I import that into Oracle XE, I get errors because Oracle XE doesn't support partitioned tables. How do I get the .dmp imported into Oracle XE? I think pre-creating the tables might do it, but how do I extract the DDL in some automated way to do this? Or can I create the exp somehow without partitions?

  • Is there an analog for the VI '.' command to repeat-last-typed-text

    I've used emacs for decades and always wondered, but kept on coding, if there was a way to type in something, them move the cursor and insert the same text, like the VI . command. Instead what I do is to type the text, set the mark, backup, copy the region, go to the next spot (often just C-n, down one line) and then pre-arg yank, C-u C-y. It's the overhead of set mark, backup and copy region that makes me just go ahead and retype the thing.

    Hi guys: Searched on here and got some vague answers, so I thought i'd rephrase the problem to get some clearer answers- Right now I have an SQL Lite db that reads/parses information from a pre-formatted .txt file. When I open the app, there is a slight 'lag' as the iDevice parses the info, then gets fetched for the iDevice. I'm just wondering if there's any way to just 'save' all the information directly in the xCode so there's no lag/fetch time? Thank you.

    I have a client which makes a limited number of concurrent web requests. I use WebClient for this purpose. I currently have a pool of WebClient-s which I create once and use whichever one is idle. This approach is becoming a little cumbersome though, and I'm wondering if there is any benefit to having a collection of pre-constructed WebClient instances, or if creating them on the fly wouldn't be too much trouble?

    I'm trying the program below to divide complex numbers, it works for complex numbers but not when the denominator is real (i.e, the complex part is zero). Division by zero occurs in this line ratio = b->r / b->i ;, when the complex part b->i is zero (in the case of a real denominator). How do I get around this? and why did the programmer do this, instead of the more straightforward rule for complex division The wikipedia rule seems to be better, and no division by zero error would occur here. Did I miss something? Why did the programmer not use the wikipedia formula??     In reviewing: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/graphics/Canvas.html I'm wondering translate(): "preconcat the current matrix with the specified translation" -- what does this mean? I can't find a good definition of "preconcat" anywhere on the internet! The only place I can find it is in the Android Source - I'm starting to wonder if they made it up? :) I'm familiar with "concat" or concatenate, which is to append to, so what is a pre-concat?

  • JSON Feed Appears to be XHR when it should be JS

    I don't get why it'd doing this with the 2nd feed (appearing as a XHR call rather than just JS [looking at it in Firefox/Firebug]). The 2nd feed has the exact same MIME type as Flickr's JSON feed, yet the PortlandOregon.gov one shows as XHR and i get a NULL callback when using $.getJSON and if i use $.ajax with a 'json' or 'jsonp' type i get nothing at all. If i do the Flickr one i get the normal "[object Object]" callback. Whats going on? Please help! This has been such a headache for about a week. And i have authorization to change the feed, but i have to request the change, so if anyone knows for absolute sure let me know that!   • Salt question - using a "random salt"

    Hey everyone, Further to my question here, I have another question regarding salts. When someone says "use a random salt" to pre/append to a password, does this mean: Creating a static a 1 time randomly generated string of characters, or Creating a string of characters that changes at random every time a password is created? If the salt is random for every user and stored along with the hashed password, how is the original salt ever retrieved back for verification? Thanks!

    I write couple of "assert(...)" in code, to make sure that pre- and post-conditions should be satisfied. We can tell the Delphi compiler, whether to compile with assertions in a debug version and without assertions in a release version. I would like to know, if it is possible, to highlight "assert" like other Pascal keywords?
