  • Error 1005 when adding a foreign key constraint on mysql table

    Hello, I have a problem when upgrading a django and mysql app with south. I've tried to make a sql-based upgrade with the code generated by the django sqlall command and I have a similar problem. Here is the sql code: CREATE TABLE `programmations_basissupport` ( `id` integer AUTO_INCREMENT NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY, `value` numeric(6, 0) NOT NULL ) ALTER TABLE `programmations_concert` ADD `basis_support_id` integer AFTER program_status_id; ALTER TABLE `programmations_concert` ADD CONSTRAINT `basis_support_id_refs_id_1e4ed8d7` FOREIGN KEY (`basis_support_id`) REFERENCES `programmations_basissupport` (`id`); An error is raised when adding the FK constraint: ERROR 1005 (HY000): Can't create table 'apidev_mnl.#sql-106e_632b00a' (errno: 150) Does anybody have an idea? Update: DEFAULT values where missing but even if I add the default='' in the django model, the creation of foreign keys fails. Thanks for your help

EntityHome.find() searches only by primary key. What do I need to do in order to query by a different criteria than primary key?

  • SQL Server Express: Failed to add primary key after creating a database table

    Scenario: I have created a database table. And when I tried to add a primary key (using the SQL Server Management Studiio) to the table, it failed with an error message "Saving changes is not permitted. The changes you have made requrie the following tables to be dropped and re-created. You have either made changes to a table that can't be recreated or enabled the option Prevent savign changes that require the table to be re-created." The environment is Windows 7. I have earlier installed it on a Windows XP SP2 and it worked. And yes, my table is empty (freshly created). My current workaround is to run the "Drop and Create" script. The other alternative is to create the primary key before I save the table. Is this a bug or a limitation with the Express version?

    I'm using sql server 2008 R2 and would like to apply unique key constraint to nullable columns. This code works good, but if I have multiple columns to add this rule to, it would generate as many 'nullbuster' columns. ALTER TABLE tblBranch ADD nullbuster AS (CASE WHEN column1 IS NULL THEN BranchID ELSE NULL END); CREATE UNIQUE INDEX UK_Column1 ON tblBranch(column1,nullbuster); tblBranch is the table name, nullbuster would be the new column name, BranchId is the Primary key column of the target table, and Column1 is the column name of the target column. Is there any way that I could achieve the goal without generating new columns.

    I have a PHP array with some predefined values: $aArray = array( 0 => 'value0', 1 => 'value1' ); I need to create a function where the string input will always return the same, valid, array key so that when I call: GiveMeAKey('http://www.google.com'); // May return 0 or 1 I receive always the same key (I don't care which one) from the array. Obvisously I can't store the relationship in a database and the string passed to the GiveMeAKey method can be any URL. I wonder if there is a way of doing that ?

For instance, the printf statement reports success immediately on keystroke 'c', but the background color does not become active until I click somewhere else on the canvas. I want all keystrokes to have an immediate effect.

    So, given a key, I want to find the next property in an object. Then, I want to return the value of the NEXT property. I can not rely on the keys to be ordered or sequential (they're uuids). Please see below for trivial example of what I want: var db ={ a: 1, b: 2, c: 3 } var next = function(db, key) { // ??? } next(db, 'a'); // I want 2 next(db, 'b'); // I want 3 I also want a prev() function, but I'm sure it will be the same solution. This seems like such a trivial problem but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. Happy for the solution to use underscore.js or be written in coffeescript :)

Is there a way, similar to, say, the @MapKey annotation, to indicate that the key is one of the columns of the value (i.e. embedded)?

    I have a html page with a timer in it. I'm starting the timer with the keypress event, but i want it to execute only for the first key. I'm using a variable to catch the total keys in an other function which there were pressed and i have something like that: if(totaAttempts==1) start the timer, but with this solution the timer starts correctly, but is stomps when a key is pressed again. Any better ideas?     OpenGL ES - Android. Hello all, I am unable to rotate the triangle accordingly in such a way that its tip always points to my finger. What i did : Constructed a triangle in by GL.GL_TRIANGLES. Added touch events to it. I can rotate the triangle along my Z-axis successfully. Even made the vector class for it. What i need : Each time when I touch the screen, I want to rotate the triangle to face the touch point. Need some help. Here's what i implemented. I wonder that where i am going wrong?     Is there a way in Java to have a map where the type parameter of a value is tied to the type parameter of a key? I don't see why this shouldn't be allowed since I can ensure when setting/getting values that the types are correct. EDIT: Thanks to cletus for his answer. I don't actually need the type parameters on the map itself since I can ensure consistency in the methods which get/set values, even if it means using some slightly ugly casts.

  • Creating a bundle - What's going wrong?

    Hello everyone, I've got a relatively simple one here. I'm making bundles to live inside the Resources folder of my application (and possibly in the Application Support folder). These bundles will contain template information for the data the application handles. I've constructed a bundle, with extension "booksprintstyle", and the directory structure is up to spec. I have an Info.plist all set and I think I've filled in all the values I need to. Do I need to change something in my App to have these folders-with-extensions recognized as bundle files, or am I missing something in my bundle structure? I noticed that some bundles have a file called PkgInfo; is that important?
