• Why does GetClusterShape return null when the cluster specification was retrieved through the GetClu

  Suppose I have a virtual earth shape layer called shapeLayer1 (my creative energy is apparently at an alltime low). When i call the GetClusteredShapes method I get an array of VEClusterSpecification objects that represent each and every one of my currently visible clusters; no problem there. But when I call the GetClusterShape() method it returns null... null! Why on earth would it do that? I used firebug to confirm that the private variable of the VEClusterSpecification that's supposed to hold a reference to the shape is indeed null so it's not the method that's causing the problem. Some have suggested that this is actually documented behavior Returns null if a VEClusterSpecification object was returned from the VEShapeLayer.GetClusteredShapes Method But looking at the current MSDN documentation for the VEShape class it says: Returns if a VEClusterSpecification object was returned from the VEShapeLayer.GetClusteredShapes Method Is this a bug or a feature? Is there any known workarounds or (if it is a bug) some plan on when they are going to fix it?

  Hi all. I've got a hidden form field, and when a button gets pressed the value of the hidden field is changed. Now, I've added an observer to the hidden field, listening for changes to occur. For some reason, though, the event listener never kicks in, even though the value of the hidden element changes. I'm using Prototype and Firefox 3.6. The code looks roughly like this: button.observe('click', function(event) { hiddenField.setValue(someValue); }); hiddenField.observe('change', function(event) { alert('It works!'); }); Does anyone have a clue why the latter observer doesn't execute?   I have a MySQL InnoDB table laid out like so: id (int), run_id (int), element_name (varchar), value (text), line_order, column_order `MyDB`.`MyTable` ( `id` bigint(20) NOT NULL, `run_id` int(11) NOT NULL, `element_name` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `value` text, `line_order` int(11) default NULL, `column_order` int(11) default NULL It is used to store data generated by a Java program that used to output this in CSV format, hence the line_order and column_order. Lets say I have 2 entries (according to the table description): 1,1,'ELEMENT 1','A',0,0 2,1,'ELEMENT 2','B',0,1 I want to pivot this data in a view for reporting so that it would look like more like the CSV would, where the output would look this: --------------------- |ELEMENT 1|ELEMENT 2| --------------------- | A | B | --------------------- The data coming in is extremely dynamic; it can be in any order, can be any of over 900 different elements, and the value could be anything. The Run ID ties them all together, and the line and column order basically let me know where the user wants that data to come back in order.

• Return order of MySQL SHOW COLUMNS

  Hey guys. Simple one this, but one I can't seem to find any information on so here goes. I need to find the columns in a specific table, which is no problem.... SHOW COLUMNS FROM tablename LIKE '%ColumnPrefix%'; But I need to know what order they will be returned, preferable by choosing to order the results ascending alphabetically. I have had no luck with using ORDER BY Field. Any ideas? Cheers!

  Hi, I'm trying to put the results of a SELECT into a variable and loop through the results to manipulate that data, all in the same stored proceedure... Here's what I have so far: DECLARE @i int @Result = (SELECT * FROM UserImport) SET @i = 0 WHILE @i < (SELECT Count(@Result) As Count) BEGIN /* Do Stuff */ END I know I'm way off because it's saying @Result was not declared, but I'm not sure how to declare a variable to be able to hold the results of a SELECT statement.   I am making a project that should compile on Windows and Linux. I have made the project in Visual Studio and then made a makefile for linux. I created all the files in Windows with VS. It compiles and runs perfectly in VS but when I run the makefile and it runs g++ I get $ g++ -c -I include -o obj/Linux_x86/Server.obj src/Server.cpp cc1plus: error: include: Value too large for defined data type cc1plus: error: src/Server.cpp: Value too large for defined data type The code is nothing more than a Hello World atm. • asyncronous call doesn't return json

  I am running wamp on an xp box. I am fairly new to web programming, this is for a student project, and have run out of avenues to try to solve this problem. Problem We have client side JavaScript code that uses GDownloadUrl- from the Google api- to wrap xmlHttpRequest calls to a php server side program that is accessing our database. In my callback program, the result of this call is always " ". However, if I use an alert to display the http:// call, with the arguments, and cut and paste that into my browser, the json I expected is displayed. I zipped my dir containing all the files, and tried it out on another team member's computer, and they were able to get the json in the callback function. Note this is exactly the same code and structure I was using, he just unzipped and ran. So now I'm thinking this is something about Firefox or Wamp? Would this be a config problem? I'm running wamp server 2.0, and Firefox 3.5.8. I have no problems with syncronous php, or reading in files asyncronously. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rebecca

  I have a multi-row insert that looks something like: insert into table VALUES (1, 2, 3), (4, 5, 6), (7, 8, 9); Assume the first attribute (1, 4, 7) is a foreign key to another table and assume that this referenced table does not have the value '4'. A MySQLExeption is thrown with error code 1452. EXCEPTION: Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (dbName/tableName, CONSTRAINT id FOREIGN KEY (customer_id) REFERENCES referencedTable (customer_id)) Is there a way to identify which value caused the error? I would love to give my user an error message that said something like: Error: '4' does not exist in the referenced table. I am using the .NET mysql connector to execute the insert. Thanks- Jonathan

However it doesn't work on my Device, which is set to German.   I have a directory with XML files. I quickly want to go through them and sum upp the value stored in one attribute. I have figured out how to fidn the nodes I am interested in. For example: (Select-Xml -Path .\*.xml -XPath "//*[@Attribue = 'valueImlookingfor']").Count This command gives me the count of elements in all of the XML files in the current directory which has the value "valueImlookingfor" in the "Attribue". I want to sum up all the values of the "Attribute", not count them. What would be the best way to do this in PowerShell? I am new to PowerShell so this may be trivial but un-known to me... All tips are much appreciated :-)

  Is it possible to make xsl:analyze-string return one string instead of a sequence of strings? Background: I'd like to use xsl:analyze-string in a xsl:function that should encapsulate the pattern matching. Ideally, the function should return an xs:string to be used as sort criteria in an xsl:sort element. At the moment, i have to apply string-join() on every result of the function call since xsl:analyze-string returns a sequence of strings, and xsl:sort doesn't accept such a sequence as sort criteria.
