• UIScrollView with over 100 images

  I have implemented a UIScrollView on the iPhone that contains 100 image slots which I fill only the currently visible page, the one before it, and the one after it as the user scrolls. Everything works fine until we get up to image 97 or 98, the entire view disappears! The only thing I can do at that point is navigate back to the previous view. Nothing works as far as the scroll view after this. I am not receiving any memory warnings an the rest of the app functions fine. Any ideas? Has anyone created a UIScrollView in paging mode with over 100 pages? Rick

• Secure to store an ID in an ASP.NET control ID?

  I'm auto-generating a form in my ASP.NET page. This is already tested and working. I want to know if: If there are any security problems with storing the database ID as part of my controls ID? I can see think of 2 issues: the id will be visible in page source (not really important in this case), and the possibility someone could change the name of the control somehow? This second possibility is more serious. Is this a potential problem and how to void it? If there would be a better preferred way to associate a unique data with any type of control? Is it possible to store a custom item in the viewstate for the control?

  I admit, I'm an .NET n00b. Basically what I'm trying to do is I have a page with a text box on it and an image button. On click of the image button I want it to show a view control I have set up. Inside this view control is an image and some text. • copying the contents of an image file

  I am designing an image decoder and as a first step I tried to just copy the using c. i.e open the file, and write its contents to a new file. Below is the code that I used. while((c=getc(fp))!=EOF) fprintf(fp1,"%c",c); where fp is the source file and fp1 is the destination file. The program executes without any error, but the image file(".bmp") is not properly copied. I have observed that the size of the copied file is less and only 20% of the image is visible, all else is black. When I tried with simple text files, the copy was complete. Do you know what the problem is?

  Prety long question; How can I do the following in C#: Open a webpage (Prefferably not visible) Check whether the page redirects to a different page (Site is down, 404, etc.) Check if the title is not equal to a said string Then seperately, (They need to click a confirm button) open their browser, and go to the adress of the first (It'll be the only one) hyperlink on the site. I literally have been looking on google for ages and haven't found anything similar to what I need. Whether you give me a link to a site with a tutorial on this area of programming or actual source code doesn't make a difference to me.

• Google Maps API v3.9: Blurry custom markers when zooming

  So it appears that Google have fixed the blurry map issue with the 3.9 / 3.10 API, which is great. But there's a new one with custom markers. As soon as you zoom in one level, the custom markers become corrupted / blurry. They rectify themselves if zooming out, although the process of zooming out also makes the markers slightly blurry. The 3.8 API does not exhibit this problem with custom markers. Here's a picture illustrating the problem (I suggest you open the image in a new tab; the blurriness isn't as easily visible when the image is scaled to fit this post). The blurring is most noticeable with the straight lines of the paper crane marker: I've had a prod through the HTML, but I can't really tell how the markers are placed on the map. But I thought that I'd put this issue out there for anyone who has experienced similar, or if anyone has any thoughts on how this can be resolved, save waiting to see if it's a glitch in the API.

  someone wrote a nice framework for developing html5 3d engine. It's GPL/MIT licensed. Do you think it's a good idea to build upon it, and then repackage it and sell it as a service? For eg the framework lets you build 3d environments. so I build on it, maybe add a few features like characters and music in the environment, and turn it into an online game. Is it a feasible idea? Of course, part of the GPL license says that all source code has to be visible to end users. Assuming the web is a winner take all market based on first mover advantage, why care about hiding the source code? It's the product that's being sold that counts.

  Hi friends, I have a button, while clicking the button i just produce a div containing some checkbox. If the user select the required checkbox, it will produce a iframe according to the value of the checkbox and the div will disappear. Its placed immediately below the button. Up to this its working fine. If the user again click the button, the droping div is comes behind the frame. Please help me to make it visible above the frame. It works perfectly fine, no problems. But change cat to more and bash breaks. The symptoms are: you don't see anything you type pressing "enter" shows up a new prompt, but not in a new line, but in the same one you can execute any command and see the output reset helps fixing things up. So there is a problem with input from keyboard, it is there, but is not visible. Why is that?

  Hello, I wish to disable the href links on a UIWebView. First, I want the look of the link to change so the user doesn't think it is clickable. Second, I want the actual link to not be able to be tapped. I do not want to try webView:shouldStartLoadWithRequest:navigationType: since that not change the appearance of my links. • cron stops running when processing multiple items

  Cron stops running (no visible error) after a few hours when I add more than 5 jobs in my cron tab. Each job runs every minute (polls a webpage for information which takes 1 second). I tried putting all of my php jobs in a shell script and called this shell script instead but the same problem occurs. Cron stops running, no error in the log file, no error email sent out either. Anyone encountered this before? Where/how canI debug this?

  I have a number of very poor-quality pdf documents that look like 80's photocopies, which I'm rebuilding in Flash (Flex Builder 3 MXML application), representing paragraphs of text in TextAreas so that selected portions can be bold or italic, or whatever I need. I need a way to apply toolTips or event listeners to individual words within the block of text to link those words to a glossary. I'm perfectly happy to create a definition panel that is populated and made visible with a mouseOver, but don't know how to do it to just a portion of the text. Is there a good / clean / easy way to do this?

• ASP.net hiding panel using javascript

  Hi, I have a radioButtonList with 2 items in it. A radiobutton with a "Yes" value and a radionButton with a "No" value. Below that I have a panel which I want made visible when "Yes" radioButton is selected and hidden when "No" is selected. I had originally implemented this using the AutoPostBack attribute but I want to do it in Javascript so that it doesn't cause a postback. Here's the code.
