  • How do you prevent a Hudson slave from archiving artifacts?

    It turns out our slaves spend a considerable amount of time moving the archived artifacts back to the master Hudson node. It at least triples the duration of the build. It would be nice if there would be a way to prevent it. However, setting the maximum number of builds to keep doesn't have an influence at all. Is there another way to prevent sending the results back to the central Hudson master?

  • How can I locate .NET Library property/function that return a particular type?

    Occasionally I will know that there is a .NET Framework function that returns a particular type of object, but I can't recall the property or function name. It would be really nice to be able to somehow scan the Framework or other DLL for functions that return a particular type of object. (For example, it would have helped when I asked this question, and I have a similar question again.) Can anyone suggest how I might do this?

    Art of Test produced a nice UI testing tool for free -- WebAii Framework-- that I've been using to add client-side DOM unit tests to my projects. Recently they merged with Telerik and it's now a commercial product. From free to $1500 is suddenly very expensive. Does anybody know if the community edition is still available, or even the last free version is available for download? At least I can finish off with that.

    I just came back to C++ Builder after 5 or more years away. I seem to remember a nice tool where I could drag its pointer over the GUI of my running application and get lots of info about what was pointed at - handle, size, text, parent, children, etc IIRC, if the exe include debug info I could also get the actual variable name as used in the source.   • How can the crosshair of ginput be restricted to one plot?

    I wrote a small MATLAB program with a gui. Inside the gui I have, among other things, a plot in which the user should be able to select two points. For this I use the function ginput, which creates a crosshair for selection. Unfortunatley the crosshair extends the whole window and is not restricted to the plot, which doesn't look nice and is confusing for the user. How can the crosshair be restricted only to the area of the plot?

I have the following: NSPersistentStoreCoordinator NSManagedObjectContext NSManagedObjectModel Is it possible to run queries directly on the store (since its a sqlite DB)? I'm trying to delete all the records from a tableview, and figured a "DELETE FROM table" would be nice and quick as opposed to looping through the records and removing them manually (which i'm also struggling with).   • Can IDL create a contour plot colorbar like this?

    At the bottom of this image, you'll see a nice colorbar that matches the colors of the graph correctly: http://stribog.cc.umanitoba.ca/ceos/20100517_00z_prod/ I couldn't find anything that created a color bar with exactly the colors I wanted, it always seemed to involve a spectrum that included colors I didn't use. I have a vector of colors I use for my data. Is there I way I can use that vector to create a color bar with only those colors?

    Does anyone know of a stand-alone tool for C# code cleaning/auditing that can run outside of Visual Studio IDE so as to be part of a build. Or if that isn't possible can someone provide some guidance as to how to make Visual Studio part of a build process -- by that I mean it would be nice to run the IDE's Sort and Remove unused using statements on all files as part of the build, but even better would be an exe that can read the .sln, or .csproj and do the job as part of build system.   • WPF separator between grid buttons

    I have a grid with 4 buttons...1 row, 4 columns. I am looking for a way to visually group the two buttons on the left from the two on the right. I was looking for a way to do this with a separator but it doesnt seem to be playing nice with Grid, preferring StackPanel. Is this the right control? If so, how does one make the thing separate the columns (populated with buttons in this case)? Thanks.

    Hi all, I have seen links that open modal windows AND have a nice animation effect that create the illusion that the window grows out of the link clicked. On closing the window a similar animation shows that the window shrinks and disappears in the link which originally opened it. I remember I saw it on some jquery page but don't remember where and don't know what this effect is called. Have you seen this? Examples?

However there are a couple of methods so I loop through an array of method names and call the method like this: my $methodName ="helloWorld"; $myObject->$methodNames; This works quite nice but some objects don't have all methods.
