  • Codeigniter redirect repeats controller name in URL

    This is my controller: class Timesheet extends Controller { ... function index() { //loads view with a form that submits to "timesheet/change_date" } function summary() { //loads view with a form that submits to "timesheet/change_week" } function change_date() { ... redirect('timesheet'); } function change_week() { ... redirect('timesheet/summary'); } ... } The first form is located at http://localhost/dts/index.php/timesheet and when I submit the change_date form, it correctly goes thru the change_date() function and re-loads http://localhost/dts/index.php/timesheet correctly. However, the second form is located at http://localhost/dts/index.php/timesheet/summary, and when I submit the change-week form, it goes thru the change_week() function but goes to http://localhost/dts/index.php/timesheet/timesheet/change_week. Notice the word timesheet is repeated. When I submit the form again, another timesheet is added. What's wrong and how do I improve my code?   • *Best* way to forward/redirect a commonly mis-typed domain name

    You own thecheesecakefactory.com and your site lives there. You know that many of your visitors will simply type cheesecakefactory.com into their browser, so you purchase that domain as well. What is the cleanest way of handling the redirection. I know GoDaddy offers a "domain forwarding" service but I am not sure if this is the "proper" way of handling it, and I don't necessarily like the idea of GoDaddy handling my DNS. My other option would be sending the domain to my DNS servers and possibly my actual server. Is it possible to do this without setting up a new vhost and a 301 redirect on my server (using DNS only)? If not, how does the GoDaddy forwarding service work?

    I want to create backup SQL tables using variable names. something along the lines of DECLARE @SQLTable Varchar(20) SET @SQLTable = 'SomeTableName' + ' ' + '20100526' SELECT * INTO quotename(@SQLTable) FROM SomeTableName but i'm getting Incorrect syntax near '@SQLTable'. It's just part of a small script for maintence so i don't have to worry about injections.

    hii i have set up virtual host in apache and and added relevent information in windows host file. it works fine for desktop browsers but i am not able to access this from android simulator's browser. as a example a i created a virtual host "testweb" i added this information in widows hosts file also so in desktop browser it works fine with the url http://testweb/ but in android simulator browser it displays error tht page has been moved .... so plz give me solution what i shud do to work it and where i am getting wrong...plz help me

    I have a directory, it contains files like: january2009.xml, february2009.xml, march2009.xml,april2009.xml,january2010.xml, february2010.xml, march2010.xml,april2010.xml ... I use the cfdirectory to get the file by year. Right now, I want to display it as sorted order in month. Say If I only want year 2009 data. I want it sorted as january2009.xml, february2009.xml, march2009.xml,april2009.xml but not april2009.xml, february2009.xml, january2009.xml, march2009.xml Anyone has easy way to do it in ColdFusion?

Or there is difference between them. Thanks. And one more things, apple recommended not to use accessor in init/dealloc, but at the same time ask not to directly set iVar. So what is the best way to assign value of ivar in init()??

    My folder structure looks like this: /app /app/data ... /app/secondary /app/secondary/data I want to recursively search /app, including /app/data. I do not want to search /app/secondary/data however. This what I have so far: ack --ignore-dir=data searchtext ack --ignore-dir=secondary/data searchtext The first command is ignoring both directories and the second one is ignoring neither of them. From within the app folder, what should my ack command look like?

    Hi, I have a simple procedure in SQL Server 2005 which takes some XML as input. The element attributes correspond to field names in tables. I'd like to be able to determine <elementName>, <attribNameX> dynamically as to avoid having to hardcode them into the procedure. How can I do this?     Here is my example: I have a a website that contains the following: <body> Jim Nebraska zipcode 65437 Tony lives in California his zipcode is 98708 </body> I would like to be able to search for zip codes on the page and wrap them with hyperlinks like: <body> Jim Nebraska zipcode <a href="/65437.htm">65437</a> Tony lives in California his zipcode is <a href="/65437.htm">98708</a> </body> Could I use a regex selector to find the string and then wrap the string, or replace it with the new hyperlink? Say you have these two: class ProductCollection : ICollection<Product> class ProductList : IList<Product> What would you call one that were an IEnumerable<Product>? class Product--- : IEnumerable<Product> Before I read that other question I might have called it a ProductCollection actually, but taking the new info into account, that would have been a bit misleading since it does not implement ICollection<Product>. Could you call it Products? var products = new Products(); // products is/are products Almost works but sounds a bit strange... What would you call it?

  • Leading underscore in directory name in IIS 5.

    In IIS 5 one of the directories off the root has a leading underscore. All files under the directory are unreachable (404) from the browser. I have verified that the paths are correct.   • Error using a hyphen as an object property name in Flex

    I'm trying to assemble a header object for an api request. One of the headers is 'Content-Type'. The hyphen is causing a compile error. Flex is giving me: 1050 - Cannot assign to a non-reference value. I find it spiteful that they enjoy the use of a hyphen in the error message while I hang my head and come here for answers.

  • [Alfresco] property qualified-name in method getContentReader

    Hi there, I first apologize for my poor english level and maybe for the stupidity of my question ;) I am on an alfresco project to learn how it works. I have to browse programatically my content repository and gather datas all along. In order to do that I guessed I had to use a ContentReader (I get from my ContentService) but the method getReader wants a nodeRef and a propertyQualifiedName. I am ok with the nodeRef, I get what it's needed for. But the propertyQualifiedName puzzles me, I barely get what it is but I frankly don't get how it is used. Reading some alfresco forum threads I get more and more scared that I dont even get how a reader works, I somewhere saw that a reader can read only one node and only one time per instance. If anyone knows a bit about the Java API for Alfresco Content Repository use I am all hears ! Cheers all !
