    I have a string which is fed into the query as IN clause,which looks like this ('ACT','INACT') which is one of the parameters to a function inside a package.when a call is made to the function from java, it looks like this call package.function(1,2,3,('ACT','INACT'),4,5). When the package is called,i get error as wrong type of arguments. It is taking the values inside brackets as different values delimited by strings

  • How can I prevent page-break in CFDocument from occuring in middle of content?

    I am generating a PDF file dynamically from html/css using the cfdocument tag. There are blocks of content that I don't want to span multiple pages. After some searching I found that the style "page-break-inside" is supported according to the docs. However in my testing the declaration "page-break-inside: avoid" does no good. Any suggestions on getting this style declaration to work, or have alternative suggestions? Here is an example. I would expect the content in the div tag not to span a page break but it does.     Can you help me with my problem regarding iframe because whenever the iframe is scrolled till end, and the user clicks a control inside the page within iframe, and page content is on the top of the page, the user needs to scroll up the Iframe just to see the content. Are there any properties that I can set or code that I can do so that the Iframe scrollbar goes back to top whenever an event is triggered inside the form??

  • Thread-safe equivalent to python's time.strptime() ?

    Something I wrote throws a lot of AttributeErrors when using time.strptime() inside a thread. This only seems to happen on Windows (not on Linux), but whatever…. Upon a'Googling, it seems that time.strptime() isn't considered thread-safe. Is there a better way to create a datetime object from a string? Current code looks like: val = DateFromTicks(mktime(strptime(val, '%B %d, %Y'))) But, that yields the AttributeErrors as its run inside a thread. Thanks!

    I have this bit of code: typedef CComQIPtr<MSXML::IXMLDOMDocument2> XML_DocumentPtr; then inside some class: XML_DocumentPtr m_spDoc; then inside some function: XML_NodePtr rn=m_spDoc->GetdocumentElement(); I cannot find anywhere in the MSDN documentation what that GetDocumentElement() is supposed to do? Can anyone tell me why it doesn't seem to be part of IXMLDOMDocument2 interface? And which interface does have it?

PS:. The expressions inside the command called for me as "&TRUNC(command)" is variable.

    I am having problem with setting a new Drawable to my ProgressBar. If I use the setProgressDrawable() inside onCreate() method it works great. But when I try to call the same method inside a Handler post callback it doesn't work and the progressbar disapears. Can someone explain this behaviour? How can I solve this problem?

    Im using following CSS to set a background-image for my menu #menuContainer { background:url('../images/main-bg.png') repeat-x; } My CSS is inside ~/styles/site.css and my image is inside ~/images/main-bg.png The problem is this works perfectly in Chrome but it's not working in Firefox. But if change the URL to #menuContainer { background:url('images/main-bg.png') repeat-x; } It starts working in Firefox and in Chrome it doesn't work. Can anyone please help?

    I'm trying to build a pager where it's just Next / Previous buttons that call a jquery function that post a JSON request. Inside the function, the current page "index" is retrieved from a hidden field and passed to the controller. Inside the controller, I reset the index if I'm on the last page of data. How would I pass the new index value back to the view? Or is there a better way to do what i'm trying to do? Thanks

    I need to get informed when the user changes the font size in it's browser. I need it to reposition some elements which have to be relative in one dimension to an anchor inside a text. So far i haven't found anything and i'm a bit worried that it's not possible. In this case it should be possible to emulate it with a hidden div and some text inside and a script polling for changes of it's width. But i hope someone has a more elegant solution.
