    Hi, I'm trying to migrate from ASP.NET MVC2 Priview 2 to MVC2 RC, because new version of Telerik is enforcing it. I had big problems while migrating from MVC 1.0 to MVC 2.0 Preview 2, so I wanted to confirm with you guys before continuing. Has anyone migrated from Prev2 to RC? Was there any problems? Are they easy to solve? Any suggestions are greatly welcome. Thanks.

  • SQL DataReader how to show null-values from query

    I have a DataReader and a StringBuilder (C#.NET) used in the following way; while (reader.Read()) { sb.AppendFormat("{0},{1},{2},",reader["Col1"], reader["Col2"], reader["Col3"]); } Which works great for my use, but when a row is null I need it to return "null", instead of just "". What would be a good way of accomplishing that? Suggestions are very appreciated

Probably one of you knows one.     so the problem is, i have a contenteditable div, with a keyup function binded. everytime somebody puts a youtube url in it, it has to be replaced by an embedded movie. i came up with a regex like this : content.match(/http:\/\/\w{0,3}.?youtube+\.\w{2,3}\/watch\?v=.*?(?=\s)/g); firefox wil do the replace after a whitespace, but in ie it won't work. any suggestions? thnx in advance!

For example, if the user has their default browser set to internet explorer, but they have firefox on their computer - open a new firefox window with the intended page. If so, I would need to check to see if they have firefox on their machine; otherwise, redirect to the mozilla firefox download site... any suggestions?

    I need to render an ASP page to a string from an MVC controller action. I can use Server.Execute() to render a .aspx page, but not a .asp page. Here's what I'm using: public ActionResult Index() { Server.Execute("/default.asp"); return new EmptyResult(); } which returns `No http handler was found for request type 'GET'` Any suggestions? I can do something similar with with a web request, but I'd rather avoid the overhead of a loopback request.
