  • Scponly: how can I block changing directories?

    Hi all, I want to block users from changing directories when they log in via scponly's shell. How can I do that? I need to be able to provide users with their own upload directory that only they can see and read/write. They should not be allowed to execute any code, ie, change directories or the like. Thanks.

  • Executing git post-receive hook on windows server

    I trying to execute a post-receive hook on a windows server git(msysgit) installation - to sync the repo to codebasehq. The script does nothing more than just wget "url" but it doesn't seem to be executing. I've renamed the "post-receive.sample" to "post-receive" and installed wget to windows path which works fine via the command prompt. Is there something I'm not doing here? I would appreciate any insights on how to get this working. Thanks.

  • How to change the default domain controller when querying AD in a different site ?

    We have 2 different locations, and at both site we have multiple domain controllers (Win2008). In our application we use Serverless Binding to execute our LDAP queries http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms677945(v=vs.85).aspx. If we look at de DnsHostName of the LDAP://RootDse on site B we always get the default domain controller of site A. Therefor all LDAP queries go much slower. Is there a way to change the default domain controller per site ?

    How do I edit an already-in-production .cmd script file, in order to have the script delete a certain registry key in the Windows registry? Firstly, is this even possible, and secondly (if that's not possible), could I create a .reg file and execute that file from with the .cmd file?   • I wanna save some terminal commands in a file

    I am using Opensuse 12.3 What I wanna do is, create a link on my desktop for some specific terminal commandos. The backround is, that I do some backup via rsync and don`t wanna type the commandos everytime new. I also dont wanna use a cronjob, since my computer isnt running everytime. Perfect would be some desktop icons, which on clicking execute the command(s). Could somebody tell me how to do this?

Says that Return code of 127 is out of bounds - plugin may be missing. What am I doing wrong?

  • SSHFS on startup CentOS 6.3

    I edited the file /etc/rc.d/rc.local and added the following lines in order to mount a remote directory through sshfs at boot time: su user -c "/usr/bin/sshfs -o idmap=user -o reconnect -o allow_other -o uid=500 -o gid=500 user@remote:/home/shares/allusers /home/user/mnt" The problem is that is not mounting the directory on startup but when I execute this command manually after logging in everything works as expected an the directory is mounted. Any suggestions?

However this line in the function is not working: execute "/<c-r>a<Return>" It is throwing this error: E486: Pattern not found: <c-r>a<Return> How do I enter the literal Ctrlr into the function?     I've just created an Automator workflow and I'm using crontab to execute it at night. The problem is that, after a while, the machine is going to sleep and a password is required (this is the intended behaviour). Unfortunately, Automator seems to be unable to perform the task when the password is required. It works like a charm if the "password required" dialog is not displayed (before the sleep). Any suggestion on how to solve this?

    I have an embedded Geode-based application server with 512MB RAM and I'm about to try to maximize free memory during applications workload, which uses MySQL database 5.5 with InnoDB quite aggressively. As part of the whole optimization I'd want to introduce echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches sleep 5 echo 0 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches in crontab. How often is it safe to execute something like this? Any other observation/suggestion is welcome.
