Inconsistent email formatting with inline css created using Javamail

Okay, so I have a program that sends an email when it is finished running. I use inline css to format the email. This was working up until yesterday however now I am seeing different formats depending on which email account I view the email in. jQuery UI Calendar displays too large, would like the demo size???

So I downloaded a custom themed UI for jQuery and added the calendar control to my sight (Example: link text). In the example it shows/displays the size I would like but on my webpage it's about twice the size. why??? I do have a ton of other CSS but I don't have control over the look and feel of the page (Can't touch current CSS, MEH!!). Is there a way to get the demo look on my site? Question about Benchmark function in Mysql ( Incredible results ).

I have 2 tables: author with 3 millions of rows. book with 20 miles rows. . So I have benchmarked this query with a join: SELECT BENCHMARK(100000000, 'SELECT book.title, author.name FROM `book` , `author` WHERE book.id = author.book_id ') And this is the result: Query took 0.7438 sec ONLY 0.7438 seconds for 100 millions of query with a join ??? Do I make some mistakes or this is the right result ?

So I am new to MySQL and am having a bit of trouble. I have one table called book_genres and another called books. book_genres +-------+---------+ |book_id| genre | +-------+---------+ | 1 | Horror | | 1 | Comedy | | 2 | Romance | | 2 | Comedy | +-------+---------+ books +-------+---------+ |book_id| title | +-------+---------+ | 1 | A Book | | 2 | B Book | | 3 | C Book | +-------+---------+ I am using the following command to pull all the book_ids that have 3 selected genres: SELECT DISTINCT a.book_id, b.genre AS genre1, c.genre AS genre2, d.genre AS genre3 FROM book_genres a JOIN book_genres b ON a.book_id = b.book_id AND b.genre LIKE 'Romance' JOIN book_genres c ON a.book_id = c.book_id AND c.genre LIKE 'Action' JOIN book_genres d ON a.book_id = d.book_id AND d.genre LIKE 'Comedy' GROUP BY book_id What I want to do is now pull all of the book titles from the books table using the book_ids found in this search. I'm not sure if there is an easier way to do this or not, but this was all that I could come up with. Thank you for anyone who can help!

What is the REGEX of a CSS selector

I'd like to parce a CSS file and add before every CSS selector another selector. From: p{margin:0 0 10px;} .lead{margin-bottom:20px;font-size:21px;font-weight:200;line-height:30px;} I'd like: .mySelector p{margin:0 0 10px;} .mySelector .lead{margin-bottom:20px;font-size:21px;font-weight:200;line-height:30px;} But my CSS file is really complex (in fact it is the bootstrap css file) so the regex should match all CSS selectors. For now I have this regex: ([^\r\n,{};]+)(,|{) and you can see the result here http://regexr.com?328ps but as you can see there are a lot of matches that shouldn't match for example: text-shadow:0 -1px 0 rgba(0, matchs positive but it shouldn't Does someone have a solution ? Is there a way to apply a CSS class from within a style?

I'm trying to be more modular in my CSS style sheets and was wondering if there is some feature like an include or apply that allows the author to apply a set of styles dynamically. Since I am having a hard time wording the question, perhaps an example will make more sense. Let's say, for example, I have the following CSS: .red {color:#e00b0b} #footer a {font-size:0.8em} h2 {font-size:1.4em; font-weight:bold;} In my page, let's say that I want both the footer links and h2 elements to use the special red color (there may be other locations I would like to use it as well). Ideally, I would like to do something like the following: .red {color:#e00b0b} #footer a {font-size:0.8em; apply-class:".red";} h2 {font-size:1.4em; font-weight:bold; apply-class:".red";} To me, this feels "modular" in a way because I can make modifications to the .red class without having to worry so much about where it is used, and other locations can use the styles in that class without worrying about, specifically, what they are. I understand that I have the following options and have included why, in my fairly inexperienced opinion, they are less-than-perfect: Add the color property to every element I want to be that color. Not ideal because, if I change the color, I have to update every rule to match the new color. Add the red class to every element I want to be red. Not ideal because it means that my HTML is dictating presentation. Create an additional rule that selects every element I want to be red and apply the color property to that. Not ideal because it is harder to find all of the rules that style a specific element, making maintenance more of a challenge Maybe I'm just being an ass and the following options are the only options and I should stick with them. I'm wondering, however, if the "ideal" (well, my ideal) method exists and, if so, what is the proper syntax? If it doesn't exist, option 3 above seems like my best bet. However, I would like to get confirmation.

Now I found example in the book about declaring Enums inside a class but outside any methods so I gave it a shot : Enum CoffeeSize { BIG, HUGE, OVERWHELMING }; In the book its spelled enum and I get this compile message Syntax error, insert ";" to complete BlockStatements Are the Enums that important at all?I mean should I skip it or its possible that I will be using those some day?

Apache mod_rewrite : How to REWRITE (or whatever) child directories to parent?

Actually i am trying to make a PHP MVC like application. A basic one. The current milestone i am reaching already includes: Basic RESTful Routing Means, if i type: www.example.com/items/book/8888 .. it properly just stays there as it is and i can already slice out the URL by slashes / and loads the responsible Controllers .... etc from the top single index.php file. I mean, so it is OK for the backend PHP. But the only problem is, it still CAN NOT process the REWRITES properly. For example, the CSS & JS are BROKEN as if i VIEW PAGE SOURCE of the page www.example.com/items/book/8888, the asset files are being called as: www.example.com/items/book/8888/css/main.css www.example.com/items/book/8888/js/jquery.js .. which really are PROBLEMS because in the code is like: <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" media="all" href="css/main.css"> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.js"></script> So the question is: How can i use Apache REWRITE (or whatever approach) to make sure every ASSET FILES to be correctly being called from the DOCROOT. For example, if i am in the URL: www.example.com/items/book/8888 My ASSET FILES should still be called as: www.example.com/css/main.css www.example.com/js/jquery.js Or is there any other methods i need to follow? Please kindly help suggest. Thank you.

Displaying a well formatted table

Please take a look at the picture below. The header for the second column is displaying DISTRICT under SENATORIAL. But that's not the case for the 2nd and 3rd Rows under the 2nd Column. What I want to achieve is that words/strings should not ba able to extend width of the table.... I want to find the word AVG (case insensitive) which is not surrounded by <font color='black'> </font>. It can be part the word or single whole word. In the case of part of the text, the whole word containing the word AVG should not surrounded by that html tag How can I do it with Java?

is it possible to load only the latest associated record of an associated table? an example: class author attr_accessible :first_name, :last_name, :birthday has_many :books end class book attr_accessible :pages, :date of publication, :title belongs_to :author end Is there a way to generate a scope to load only the newest released book the author wrote? Or the book with the most pages? I know, that I could include or join all books. But I don't know if its possible to load only a specific book for each author. So that I could do a query like this: Author.authors_and_their_newest_book So that I could get these results first_name_author_1, last_name_author_1, birthday_author_1, pages_book_3, date of publication_book_3, title_book_3 first_name_author_2, last_name_author_2, birthday_author_2, pages_book_5, date of publication_book_5, title_book_5 first_name_author_3, last_name_author_3, birthday_author_3, pages_book_9, date of publication_book_9, title_book_9 ...

What would be the easiest way for creating a dialog: - in one window I'm giving data for envelope addressing, also set font type from list of sizes - when clicked OK, in the same window or in next window I get preview of how the envelope would look like with the given names, and used selected font size It should look similarly to this : Should I use Jdialog ? Or will JOptionPane will be enough ? The next step will be to choose color of font and background so I must keep that in mind.
