    The Problem I want to press a key when I have a line highlighted and convert from a single line: JGLogEntry *logEntry = [JGLogEntry applicationNoWindowsFrom:date1 to:date2 intoMOC:mockRawMOC]; to a multiline statement: JGLogEntry *logEntry = [JGLogEntry applicationNoWindowsFrom:date1 to:date2 intoMOC:mockRawMOC]; What I've Tried I've got a simple ruby script that almost gets me there. #!/usr/bin/env ruby s = STDIN.read s.gsub!(/(:.+?\w) (\w.+?)/,'\1' + "\n\t" +'\2') print s When I set the output to "Replace Selection", I get this: JGLogEntry *logEntry = [JGLogEntry applicationNoWindowsFrom:date1 to:date2 intoMOC:mockRawMOC]; When I set the output to "Place on Clipboard", then paste it in, I get the desired result: JGLogEntry *logEntry = [JGLogEntry applicationNoWindowsFrom:date1 to:date2 intoMOC:mockRawMOC]; However, this is two keypresses which is clumsy. Any ideas how I can get the replaced text to obey Xcode's auto indent rules?

  • Android : Stop image scaling down

    Hi, I'm trying to draw an image in a view but having problems trying to maintain the scale of the original image. Basically, I have a small view and I would like to show part of the image in the view. The intention then is to perform a translation on the image so that a different part appears in the view. No matter what I try, either the image is down-scaled automatically to fit the view or the whole image is viewable. I've tried playing about with the settings on BitmapDrawable, ImageView and Layout to no avail. Anyone know a good way to achieve this?

    Hi, I have a product database and I am displaying trying to display them as clean URLs, below is example product names: PAUL MITCHELL FOAMING POMADE (150ml) American Crew Classic Gents Pomade 85g Tigi Catwalk Texturizing Pomade 50ml What I need to do is display like below in the URL structrue: www.example.com/products/paul-mitchell-foaming-gel(150ml) The problem I have is I want to do the following: Remove anything with braquets(and the braquets) Remove any numbers next to g or ml e.g. 400ml, 10g etc... I have been banging my head trying different string replaces but cant get it right, I would really appreciate some help. Cheers

  • jQuery remove SELECT options based on another SELECT selected on change and on load

    I'm using the following jQuery code to remove options from a select and it is working well. But instead of it only executing when the theOption2 select is changed I would also like it to work when the page is loaded depending on the selected item that is selected. I tried using the a copy of the script and changing the .change to .load and also tried using (window).load without the desired results. Essentially, I need the script to execute on change of the Options1 and on the loading of the page.     Is there an easy way to get the MvcRouteHandler to convert all hyphens in the action and controller sections of an incoming URL to underscores as hyphens are not supported in method or class names. This would be so that I could support such structures as sample.com/test-page/edit-details mapping to Action edit_details and Controller test_pagecontroller while continuing to use MapRoute method. I understand I can specify an action name attribute and support hyphens in controller names which out manually adding routes to achieve this however I am looking for an automated way so save errors when adding new controllers and actions.

    I am trying to send a HTTP PUT (in order to create a new cache and populate it with my generated JSON) to ehCache using my webservice which is on the same local tomcat instance. Am new to RESTful Web Services and am using JDK 1.6, Tomcat 7, ehCache, and JSON.
