• Can a Highcharts range selector use non-date linear ranges?

  I am using the HighStock JS lib to produce a chart that uses a linear series (not a time-series) for the xAxis. I'd still like to use the range-selector in order to zoom to pre-determined ranges within my linear series. Is this possible? For example; say my xAxis has a series: [[121,616],[122,600],[123,605],[124,585.5],[125,575.5],[126,580.5],[127,582],[128,582],[129,584],[130,583]] I'd like to use the range selector to zoom to the last n in the series.

The template provides a window with a UISplitView view, containing the Root View (on the left of the window) and the Detail View (on the right of the window). The Root View is a subclass of a TableView. Rather than having the entire Root View consist of a TableView, I'd like it to contain a DatePicker view along with the TableView under it. When I go into IB and try and drop a DatePicker into the Root View, it won't let me. It will only let me add a DatePicker view to the Detail View. Why wont IB let me drop a DatePicker view into the Root View? How can I add a DatePicker to the RootView in addition to the TableView? I'm still learning this new platform, so I apologize if these questions are absurd in any way. Thanks so much in advance for your help, I'm going to continue researching these questions right now.

If I enter correct date than the article is properly inserted. There's one other thing that's confusing me... I need to ensure that for each row that the date in column1 is not after the date in column2. • jqGrid local date manipulation; problem with row ids when deleting and adding new rows

  I'm using jqGrid as a client side grid input, allowing the user to input multiple records before POSTing all the data back at once. I'm having a problem where if the user has added a few records (say 3 ) the id's for the records will be 1,2,3. if the user deletes record 2, you're left with 1 and 3 for the id of the records. When the user now adds a new records, jqGrid assigns that records the id 3 again since it just seems to count the total records and increments it by one for the new record. This causes problems when selecting rows as now the row id's are 1, 3 and 3. Does anyone know how to access the row ids of records as I could probably use the afterSubmit event and reassign the row id's increasing from 1. ( so after i delete row id 2, this will set the other row id's to 1 and 2) Any other suggestions to solve this problem? Thanks

  I am coding in php, attempting to get the start\end dates and times for events. I am utilizing the following RegEx for parsing out the information: $pattern='/(?P<StartDate>[0-9]{8})T(?P<StartTime>[0-9]{6}) .+(?P<EndDate>[0-9]{8})T(?P<EndTime>[0-9]{6})/'; The sample event entry is here: BEGIN:VEVENT UID:34b09fd7-8e6e-4d56-86b0-445745b89d93 ORGANIZER;CN=*********:mailto:********* DTSTART;TZID="(GMT-06.00) Central Time (US & Canada)":20100413T130000 DTEND;TZID="(GMT-06.00) Central Time (US & Canada)":20100413T160000 STATUS:CONFIRMED CLASS:PRIVATE X-MICROSOFT-CDO-INTENDEDSTATUS:BUSY TRANSP:OPAQUE X-MICROSOFT-DISALLOW-COUNTER:TRUE DTSTAMP:20100414T140711Z SEQUENCE:0 END:VEVENT 20100413T130000 and 20100413T160000 are the start and end points. The dates are straight forward, however how do I interpret the time part? This event starts at one and ends at four.
